“Fleapaw! Goosepaw! Dapplepaw!” He chanted. Looking for his newly apprenticed daughter, he also decided to look for Patchpaw. He would take his new responsibilities very seriously and was excited for this. Hopefully they had already had some basic training, but that’s okay if they didn’t.

cactuspaw jumped at the sudden noise and unsheathed her claws, but for only moment as she saw it was someone she knew. putting her claws away she sighed of relief. "cindersky.. hey." she was glad to see a familiar face after so long. "i was... kidnapped. plucked right off our own territory by twolegs. they put me in a prison and threw me onto different monsters, one after the other." cactuspaw would never be able to shake the feeling of being on the road, it was so nauseating and scary. she would never understand how twolegs used those things. "me and a few other unlucky souls were at a stop when somecat named wildspark freed us, and then i just.. ran back here." cacy's gaze was sad if not scared. she was still a bit shaken up from the experience, she half-expected the twolegs to find her again on her way back, and wanted nothing more than to just be back in her camp.

He felt his heart sink with the announcement of many missing cats. He never understood why some cats would want to leave Thunderclan. He hoped they would be found soon. If that is what they wanted, of course. He chanted the names of the three new apprentices. It was good to see that the clan was still growing. New apprentices meant new warriors, and that could only be a good thing. He felt a new spark of hope flicker in his chest. Thunderclan could be strong again!

Pinecrash’s ears perked up with surprise. He was getting an apprentice? He had never been exceptional at anything, so he always supposed there was some cat better than him who could train the next generation. Excitement sparkled in his gaze. His training session with Possumpaw has been tons of fun! The idea of teaching had always been one that had appealed to him. Now he would get to do that everyday? He felt his pelt prickled excitably. He stood up and looked around for Cardinalpaw. They looked a bit confused so he made his way over to them. “Hello there! I’m Pinecrash. I hope we can complete your training!” He meowed with a warm smile before tapping their nose to his briefly. My first apprentice! His conversation with Willowbreeze flashed quickly in his mind. He hoped he could make Cardinalpaw into a respectable warrior.

Hearing her name called pretty much snapped her right back to attention and her eyes shifted to Fleapaw before flicking up to Cinderstar to meet the leader's gaze. 'Though he is young, I am certain he will pass on all he knows to you.' Discomfort flickered across her face, clear as day to anyone who would be paying close enough attention. Sometimes it was hard not to just stand right up and shout the truth to the world, but she had no idea who would be understanding and who wouldn't.

Maybe, just maybe, she could talk to Cinderstar after this meeting was over. Then take Fleapaw out for training. The search for Cinderpaw was going to need to be held off for a moment, it seemed.

Pushing down most feeling, Bumblebreak rose to her feet and trotted over to Fleapaw to touch her nose to theirs, a wide grin entirely replacing the discomfort on her face. "I'm gonna make you the best damn warrior the Clans have ever seen."

Littleleap Looked at Cinderstar her eyes started to fill with happiness as she looked upon a familiar face. "oh Cinderstar you don't know how happy I am to see you aging, to see Thunderclan again! I thought I was a goner when I fell into that pit." The she-cat side kinda ignoring but still somewhat answering Cinderstars question.

Sunshadow had slipped into the meeting right when it started, not wanting to make any noise. She had stayed silent throught the whole meeting but as soon as she heard her name being said by Cinderstar she perked her ears. She was being given an apprentice. This was her first apprentice. While it was a reassignment and not a new apprentice, she was still a bit nervous. Sunshadow waited for Cinderstar to finish her announcements before looking around and padding over to Duskpaw. "Hello Duskpaw. I'm glad to be your mentor. I will make sure that you become a warrior." The molly meowed, her dripping-like fur swaying as she talked.

oh yeah, that felt good. That felt super super good. The newly apprenticed cat couldnt help the rising squeal of excitement that left them as they were given their new name, an impressively high jump following. Finally, he did it! And he got to keep his name, too! Well, Cinderskystar did agree, and she definitely knew better than to break their promise. Even if she was trying to replace Dogbark, most of the time she seemed to be pretty smart.

Oh... thats right. A small pang of guilt went through it as it realized Dogbark wasnt there to see its ceremony. He wasnt there to give it a hug and say how proud he was of it. Would he have gotten the tom as his mentor if he was still there? Fleapaw seemed to shrink into themself briefly, eyes welling with tears. They felt a lot of things at the moment, and not all of it he was sure he understood why. There was anger, and sadness, and guilt, and grief, there was so much feeling and they didnt know what to do about it. "Are you...are you proud of me, Dad?" it whispered to itself, a teary smile growing on its face.

The sudden touch to its nose brought the apprentice out of their thoughts, eyes focusing on the cat in front of them. Clearing its throat and quickly blinking away any of the tears that remained, Fleapaw lifted its head to meet the gaze of its new mentor. "Well, duh" it spoke, staring up at Bumblebreak in confusion, "If you dont, Im gonna kick your butt"

Who gave a damn about missing babies? And now there were more of them. The blackish cream Cat scoffed,Clearing their throat to speak but decided against it. They could do something much more damaging,A lot more damaging- A certain tree kind of damage. She looked at the spotted grey shecat of the Thunderwillow again. Only meeting her gaze for a split second before breaking it and he glanced at Sparrowflight. Who were these cats to be in a spot of power,Who were they to rule over Thunderclan ,Making actions that weren’t theirs to make. Cinderstar was only a leader because their clan mates were suck ups,Sparrowflight only deputy for what? Cindersky mentioned her to be it,forcing her opinions onto everyone else. This was all wrong to them. The “Allseers” were to fix this mess,And how were Cindersky and Sparrowflight going to stop them? They couldn’t,their judgement day was soon to come,just not today. Bugheart looked behind him to see and meet all of the clans gaze to either Cindersky or Something else. They were all useless now,all chances of living on judgement day ruined by their own idealism of a spotted Shecat that won them a single battle. Thunderclan,The Home of the Fearless and Powerful,Now Home to The Lying and Damned. They weren’t the perfect clan,and it shined as bright as the stars above them at night. Thunderclan was just a home filled with fakes and pretenders. Bugheart laughed aloud,Slamming her jaw shut as they stared at Cindersky,Breaking the contact as they left the meeting and the camp at once. Not leaving a chance to be spoken or stopped,heading in the direction of the Willow tree that was a memorial to those who failed to escape the blazes.
