@Moonraven @NinjaBloss [wasn't sure if i should mention both of you or just one, but cinderblaze is here to ask when the meeting will be!]
Cinderblaze slowly made his way towards the WindClan border. It felt odd to be here, although he knew he was supposed to ask when this... gathering would be. Although he wouldn't mind coming across a bunny, he was well aware of the fact that he wasn't supposed to shred them on their own territory. I'm merely here to ask when this meeting will be. The ShadowClan deputy kept his gaze watchful. When he arrived at the border, he hesitated for a moment. Would WindClan just let him step onto their territory? Sure, they'd promised to be neutral with each other and all that, but that didn't stop an aggressive cat from crossing the border. He would have to tell the leader or deputy (whoever came his way) that he was not here to fight.
Finally he decided to simply cross the border, amber eyes darting around watchfully. "Twilightstar? Fallownose?" Cinderblaze called, smirking to himself. Why was he even scared? "I'm not here to cause trouble, of course." The words were added quickly. Three cats attacking him all at once... that wouldn't be nice, of course. He had superior fighting skills, but still, they were sometimes not enough.
This meeting seemed quite peculiar to him. It had surprised Cinderblaze that Dawnstar accepted so quickly... but then again, ShadowClan could not seem scared or anything. Plus, what could some bunnies do? It's not like they have more territory to steal. In all seriousness, though, the tomcat wondered what this was about. Perhaps, a little conference about borders, outsider activity, or any such things? Or, maybe it was about a clan... that'd be intriguing. Whatever it was, Cinderblaze was glad to be a part of the meeting. He didn't want to miss all the actually important, spicy stuff.
As Sparrowflight said her farewells, Twilightstar noticed how the she-cat lifted her paws as she walked away and faintly wondered if there was something wrong with her legs, her gait was a little... off. She dashed the concern away, Sparrowflight was a full-grown cat and a deputy at that, she was sure the she-cat could take care of herself. Alright, considering she found ThunderClan's deputy, she figured she'd glance around for the two. She was taking a long nap after this patrol, she could feel fatigued poking at her body as she walked. Her paws brought her towards the Sky Glade and in the direction of ShadowClan's border. Unlike with Sparrowflight, she didn't have to look all that hard to find a misplaced ShadowClan cat. He was calling her name, so she just followed the meow until she came upon a bulky gray tom with amber eyes.
"You must be ShadowClan's new deputy then, Cinderblaze, correct?" Twilightstar greeted Cinderblaze in a flat tone. She knew the cat's name but little else other than that. He had a cocky air of superiority and a disregard for WindClan that all ShadowClan cats seemed to hold. However, he was no Dawnstar, so Twilightstar regarded him with far less vigilance than she would for the ShadowClan leader. He said he wasn't here to fight, but the day she believed ShadowClan wasn't here for a fight would be the day hedgehogs fly.
Nothing in his body language screamed he was looking for a battle, which was good because Twilightstar was not at all interested in getting into one. Not that she figured Dawnstar would be petty enough to reignite their feud if Twilightstar ended up ripping up her new deputy for picking a fight with the WindClan leader. Twilightstar just wasn't up for some claw and tooth action right now.
"You can tell Dawnstar to come to WindClan in six sunrises at dawn. Since she already knows her way around the territory, I won't escort her, I trust she won't be hunting in my territory. If she wants to bring five other warriors with her, besides you, then she can do so, but I'll hold her responsible if they cause any problems. We'll meet outside of WindClan's camp."
The young she-cat felt a wave of embarrassment flush her body, but quickly licked it away and gave her best grin. "It took some time! She was kind, fussed over my eye a lot...but, I'm back!" Shifting her tail back and forth over her paws she considered mentioning why she was taken in the first place. Of course it was a sensitive subject, but maybe it would be better to share it.
Taking a deep breath, Meadowpaw closed both of her eyes before releasing it. Making eye contact with her Deputy she mewed, "She grabbed me because I didn't see her coming. I was so focused on the bird in front of me I didn't see her. She came at me from my blind side and scooped me up." The young she-cat did her best to have clear, concise sentences and yet it still came out rushed. The judgement she feared because of her difference showed for a moment. "I promise to train harder and find other ways to see threats if WindClan will have me back." Sitting taller the half blind feline awaited her fate.
As he left the camp, Hawkblaze turned habitually towards the direction of the rabbit warren where he liked to hunt. A good chase would stretch his legs for sure. With a small, amused smirk on his muzzle, he looked over his shoulder to see if Rainshock was in fact following him as he had said.
Windkit looked to ashclaw as he set the bird down she then padded over to the bird sniffing it then poked it with her paw before getting startled and hideing back behind her mothers leg again peeking out
Ashclaw smiled, he began plucking some feathers off the pretty bird" don't be afraid come here" he says with the feathers in his mouth, he slided the bird behind him and lowered his head
fireflame looked at windkit and pushed her out with her tail" its ok" she says ensuring windkit
Echomist walked into the Elders' Den and saw the tiny kit. She padded over to her nest, and sat down. Whatever the kit was doing here, she would try to help. But first she had to get comfy, because she had an idea of what the kit wanted. "What did you need, Ashkit? A story?" asked Echomist, kindly, "Come sit down. Is there a specific story you want to hear?"
Here it was: the moment of truth. Tonight Sparkpaw pushed all the luck she'd ever got her dainty paws on. If any ShadowClan warriors asked 'why leave at such an hour?', she would paint pictures of a moonlit hunt along the WindClan border, a wayward apprentice desperate to put her best foot forward and impress her clan - hoping for security. It wasn't 100% false; the best lies weren't. Spark buried a piece of fresh kill to corroborate her story if need be...but if everything went the she-cat's way, no one would question her absence at all.
A breeze rustled tall grass in front of Spark as she stared across the border line, brows furrowed. It was her last chance to turn back. Reconsider. "What's the worst the could happen?" She whispered to the empty air. They could kill her, but she didn't think they would. And! Depending who she faced, Spark doubted they could. Her rank was deceiving - left room for others to underestimate. At first, this irked her, but Sparkpaw now recognized it as an advantage. She might look small and have a name that implied incompetence, but this ShadowClan apprentice fought her way through three separate battles, four mentors (including Dawnstar), and even managed to acquire swimming lessons. She would use WindClan's ignorance against them if she had to. Obviously that was not a very desirable outcome.
No, unlikely they would kill her (though Dawnstar wouldn't give a rat's ass what happened to Spark now). The worst they could do was say no. Rejection would sting but it was salvageable. Sparkpaw took a deep breath to calm spazzing nerves. She steeled herself one last time, then padded into WindClan, ready to flag down the first cat she saw. Time to visit a friend.
