Upon hearing Cinderstar’s call, Bluepaw’s heart missed a beat. She didn’t really expect the she-cat would answer!
BluePaw approached carefully, pushing through the lichen, looking around the den. She saw Cinderstar in her nest. “Er, Cinderstar, I came here to tell you something… I haven’t told anyone else yet..”Bluepaw shuffled her paws. “When I was hunting, I smelt some unknown scent, which smelt like the twolegplace…” Bluepaw blinked her sky-blue eyes. “Then I saw a cat, it was a Tom, he was all black.. he was eating a squirrel,”
Cinderstar
Blinking her eyes, Cinderstar listened to the apprentices words carefully. The first thing she noticed about the story was that in order for it to be true, that meant Bluepaw had gone outside of camp without a warrior. A punishment would need to be given for that, but for now she would focus on the bigger issue. "Did they say anything? Or see you?" she questioned, wondering if it was just some kitty-pet passing through. Regardless, she would need to go out later to strengthen the borders and check around just to be safe.

Their anxiety would would gnaw at them less now. Rather than immediately turning to leave now that they'd been given an answer, they waited. It'd be awfully rude to simply walk away. "Permission to leave?"
They kept the ask light, because they really couldn't think of a way to phrase it without sounding rude, even if it was meant genuinely and out of respect. They hoped she would recognize their meaning.
Cinderstar
She gave a soft nod to acknowledge his thanks, though hoped that it would soon be common knowledge that her den and her time was that of her Clanmates, regardless of how busy she was. "Of course. Thank you, Dimhazel." With that she gave a flick of her ear in dismissal.

Watching as all of the cats she called came promptly to her den, she was certain she had selected correct for the little gathering. Her whiskers gave a twitch at Sandsmoke. "Nothing of that sort, at least not right now," she replied with a bit of a purring chuckle before turning her gaze to the others. Most came without any words - Sunshadow, Echosong, Batblood, though the latter one was expected. She hoped that by her calling him, it would send a message that despite them not seeing eye to eye, she still valued his input as a Clanmate.
"I did, yes. Come in Jaggedfrost." Perhaps she would announce at the next Clan meeting that her den was open for her Clanmates no matter the circumstances. She liked it when there was an open door between them for communication purposes.
Now that everyone was gathered, Cinderstar decided to get right into it. "As some of you may be aware, Twilightstar has invited ThunderClan to gather onto WindClan territory for a small gathering of sorts. She intends for this to be a meeting to discuss topics that could easily be drowned out by typical gathering chaos. I received word back from Sparrowflight that this is to take place in the next couple sunrises, however she has been confined to her nest due to her paw pads unfortunately. In her place, I wish to bring you five with me."
None of them seemed particularly vocal - as in, she was certain none of them would lose their cool in the presence of the other Clan leaders. But each of them had a unique voice, and she knew she would need a variety of cats around her after the meeting to ensure that it was dissected from all angles.
"This will be ThunderClan's first meeting in quite some time with some organizational foundation. I wish to make a good impression on the other leaders and solidify ThunderClan as a Clan once more in their eyes. I know I do not have to ask this of you, because I know you will be, but there is to be no violence, no insults. If you have a strong opinion that you feel will disrupt the gathering, you are welcome to bring it to my attention after the fact." And hopefully they would, too.
With the invitation out there, Cinderstar regarded each cat with a thoughtful, yet imploring look. "Would you five be up for that task?"
After exiting the nursery, Flamekit looked around at all the other cats who were busy talking with each other and sunbathing. With a smirk, Flamekit trotted proudly past her clanmates and went into the apprentice den, where she would be in less than a moon. Though she was excited about becoming an apprentice, she was nervous about being in a den with unfamiliar cats- that's why she had chosen to go there first: so she can take a peek at who'd she be warriors with one day.

Another kit? Flamekit let out a quiet purr, she'll be apprentices with that kit soon enough- a future denmate, just like the other apprentices: Cinderpaw, Goldenpaw, Sagepaw, Finchpaw, and Crowpaw. Though she'll be smaller than them, Flamekit hoped to be just as strong and fast. Although she didn't quite like to admit it, Flamekit was certainly one who likes to show off. Knowing the orange tabby's clanmates were busy socializing with each other, Flamekit backed out of the den and went towards the warrior's den to see any cats who might become her mentor.
Goldclaw, Lionclaw... two cats who were littermates, judging by the similar scents each of the two cats gave away.
Deciding not to bother the sleeping toms, Flamekit turned on her heels and quietly padded out of the den, careful not to disturb them. She then headed towards the Elder's Den, where she hoped to hear a story.

Before Cinderstar could tell what it was that she had to tell them she of course had to answer Sandsmoke's eager questions, but then she finally started talking. The black tom kept his face expressionless throughout the whole thing, but inside his head he was going over what had been said.
First was what the leader said about Sparrowflight being stuck in the medicine den. He didn't like the idea of that. He didn't really know her, and most certainly didn't care about her, but while Cinderstar didn't specify Sparrowflight injury more than that it was about her paw pads, it wasn't great. Would she still be able to organize the patrols? If not that would be a problem. Well, at least Cinderstar had found the five of them to replace her deputy. Nice to know he was worth a fifth of a deputy.
Then Cinderstar talked about making a good impression and all, and Batblood's first reaction since he had entered came in the form of a twitch in his tail. Solidify ThunderClan as a Clan once more. They were either a joke or emeny to the other clans. They weren't Thunderclan who climbed trees and protected their own, they were the clan who couldn't keep a leader, who had started a new fight out of nowhere, who had been defeated by like seven Shadowclanners, and whose apprentices had stormed in on a gathering they weren't attending. But sure, impression was Batblood's middle name, so it wasn't like he couldn't keep his cool.
Last came the question he had been expecting. "Sure. When will we be leaving."
