for the first few moments, the pudgy little apprenticed simply watched cats gather around skystar and snowleap. new territory - goodness, they could only imagine the amount of lively flowers and squishy little bugs they could find! though, he'd never been the type to travel far.. who knew what was hiding out there in the wilderness, past the comfort of the marshy territory? oh, i'm just being silly, melonpaw thought with a small sniff before bounding over to the growing group, chiming in with a bubbly "i'll go!"

As the she-cat flopped down next to him and stretched out on her back, Drizzlekit looked her over once more,
Yes, she definitely has more muscle build than I do, even if it isn’t exceptional, she has the brawn I lack, He thought, his eyes slightly narrowed.
When Nightpaw spoke again, Drizzlekit couldn’t help an irritated flick of his ear,
It’s not like a kit has very many options of what to do during the day, most of my peers were just eating, sleeping, or playfighting like idiots. I, on the other paw, was planning my entire future, as per usual.
“What was I doing?” He echoed, sliding into an easy grin for max effect, “I was practicing my battle moves, of course! I can’t wait to become an apprentice, you know!” He squeaked, raising his voice to the natural kit squeal, “My day has been absolutely amazing!” He purred, tagging a happy trill on the end for believability.
He supposed as future leader, he should ask his clanmate what she had been doing and how her day was going, as it was only polite, and Drizzlekit had to be polite if he was to become a much loved leader,
“So, what were you doing today, anything interesting?” He asked, feigning interest and curiosity.
