Cinderblaze padded into camp, ears twitching. It was night and he'd attempted to go for a little hunt, although unsucessful. Oh well. He would try again once dawn arrived. His amber eyes wandered to a young apprentice who was licking scratches... what had she done to get wounded? Curious, the deputy made his way over. "What happened to you?" he asked, rolling his shoulders. He sat down, starting to groom his extremely thick, fluffy fur while still glancing at Willowpaw.

Not expecting him, Willowpaw jumped up and got in a battle ready position, then realized it was the deputy and calmed down. Embarrassed at her reaction.
"I fell off a try while hunting today..." She said seeming ashamed of herself.

Cinderblaze's eyebrows quirked up as Willowpaw positioned herself battle ready, but then she seemed to come to her senses. She fell off a tree? Interesting. A quiet chuckle escaped from his maw. "A tree? At least it seems your mentor is taking you out for training - is he?" Redheart appeared to be loyal and capable of training an apprentice from what Cinderblaze had seen, but why not make sure?

"Yeah! Thanks to him I was able to catch a mouse AND a rabbit today! And it was my first time hunting! He's also taught me a few battle tips!" She said proud to be able to talk about her mentor with such a good tone in her voice. She looked at the deputy for a moment. "Wait a sec.... YOU"RE THE DEP-" he covered her mouth with her own paw to stay silent so she wouldn't wake up the who clan. "You're the deputy!" She said excitedly. She couldn't tell at first in the dark but now she saw him.

Vixensnarl glanced around the clearing and was satisfied to see that everything was in order. It seemed the Enforcer didn't have anything to do at the current moment as there was no trouble to involve herself in.

"oh but I would! The look on your face would be priceless!" the tom joked. He wouldn't actually be so rude as to seek the apprentice out and make fun of her for falling out of a tree twice everyone makes mistakes some just happen to be funnier than other.
