she sighed, brushing her ripped dress down, holding a notebook close to her chest. she adjusted her glasses, rushing over to the president's office. "SANVEY!! i have your- papers- for you-" she panted, floating in the air, floating in. she adjusted her round glasses again, setting the papers down and brushing down er fluffy grey and white hair.
Stella was sitting outside the steps of the school. Her headphones were blaring music as she drifted in and out of her thoughts. More than anything, she wanted to go back home to her father, back to her world, where things weren't as confusing. But now there wasn't any home to go to. The councilors had sentenced her father to exile, and their home was gone. She could feel a familiar anger bubble in her chest as she remembered the Tribunal that had sentenced her father. It wasn't his fault the other elves were killed when they they called down Everblaze, he was trying to teach them! He was lucky to be alive, but did the council see it that way?? Gritting her teeth she got to feet and strode back into the scool, headphones still blaring.

Gods.. not again. He let out a soft sigh before dropping his pen against his desk and moving the hand that was sitting on his forehead through his hair. Such an inconvenience. His pale eyes fixated on the girl floating in front of him, his patience running thin with her. He didn't like her much. She insisted on hanging out with him and made him upset. He was never alone because of her. He might go mad at this rate! Sanvey didn't say a word to her. He just pulled the papers in front of him and started working on them. His face blank and practically devoid of emotion even though he was boiling with anger on the inside. He really didn't want to have to deal with this girl today. He was already pissed off because of the work deadlines and Madeline was going to delay them further. Unless, he found a way to send her away. But that.. would again, take time he did not have. So he'd have to just ignore her. Maybe that would send her away! Because in all honesty, he despised her with every inch of his soul. She just made his blood boil. She clung to him like white on snow and constantly pestered him. It just.. really pissed him off.

something wasn't right. "er- what's... wrong?" she asked, landing amd tilting her head slightly. she had always found interest in his pale eye, and blythe hated it. "i-i was just wondering, why does... blythe hate you?" her eyes moved down, not noticing them turn a bright red, blood dripping from her pale neck. the bright light in her head. then the light disappeared, and she shook her head, going back to normal. Madeline sighed, sitting down as she sorted her own papers. she wasn't special, but she was part of the design crew, and designed almost everything. so she had to have papers for that.

Stella didn't notice the other girl at first, but when she did, she merely shrugged and took her headphones off. "None of your business." She said defensively. She didnt want anyone to know about her fathers exile, especially since she didnt know how things worked here in the forbidden cities where humans live. Where she came from, it would be seen as the ultimate shame. "Just . . . Just listening to music." She said gruffly.

"no... your heart beat... it's fast... in anger about aomething-: she said, wincing. More heart beats, more head pain. "this- ow-" she hissed, pressing her hands over her ears, hoping it would leave her. but it didn't.

Stella fastened her eyes on the girl. "What I'm angry about is none of your concern-!" She snapped sharply before realizing that the girl was in actual pain. The anger was immediately replaced with a hefty dose of self-scolding and concern. "Look, I didn't mean- Are you okay?" She asked, unsure of whether to apologize or ask what's wrong.

"the- the heartbeats- all of them- it's all too loud!" she growled, falling to her knees and cupping her ears. she had a panicked look on her face. 'heartbeats make you insane, and so will the son of the vultures eye. stay safe, my darling' her mother had said, and now she understood why
things weren't the best right at that moment, mainly due to the circumstances.
