Re: Flickering Fires Under the Umbrellas. (Roleplay!)
Tanya sat on a small armchair, fading in and out of vision. Steadily she tapped on the wooden sides of the chair, taking a moment to shift her glasses into place before slowly getting up. She ran a hand through her brown hair as she made her way towards the library, practically skipping through the hallway. Reading was her passion and she didn’t know what she would do without books. She opened the door, a small grin forming on her lips. Her green eyes darted around the bookshelves, looking for a book to read.
After a bit of scouting, she picked up a book called “Whispers” and made her way through the hallway again

her eyes stayed on the dummy that she had made for this purpose. to destroy. and then she would rebuild it. she sighed, grabbing the crafted bow, shooting it right on the head, smirking gently. she brushed some hair out of her face, crouching slightly, before a voice scared her out of her mind. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!" she hissed, whipping around.

A snicker and a giggle rang through the library, his little bat-winged ears flicking as he hung upside down from the second floor railing of the library. "You're really reading books right now? You could be doing something so much more entertaining like.. talking to me! Or.. well, talking to me is great enough." A smirk bedazzled his pale-skinned face. His swirling eyes fixated right on to Tanya. Flipping himself right side up, Sky quickly floated down next to Tanya and bowed like he'd just finished a performance. His cocky smirk morphed into a toothy grin. "So, gonna take me up on my offer and talk?"

Ohh, what a bore.. She woke up and was immediately brought up to absolute boredom. Nobody around to mess with, nobody to bother her. Ugh. But of course, she'd have to force herself to be like the rest of them anyways. Sigh. Star clambered out of bed and she grabbed the glass of water on her nightstand. The condensation on the glass already searing her singed fingertips. She winced before taking a big gulp. GODS. The burning sensation of the water going down her throat hurt beyond belief. Everytime.. she'd never be used to it. And like that, she walked out of her room and into the dining room. By the Gods, her throat still hurt. But what could she do? Nothing. With a sigh, she sat down at the table with a bowl of cereal.. with no milk of course. That was just as lethal as water. She casually ate, waiting for her siblings to show up with their lovely and extravagant breakfasts of pancakes and milk. Too bad this was all she could have..

the teen walked into the dining room with a small bowl of fruits. she never ate anything else. just fruit. she sat down, right across from star, not noticing her. she sighed, eating a piece of watermelon, chewing it slowly, taking her time with each piece of fruit she ate, before she jumped at star's voice. she had not seen the other, nor expected the other to speak, as usually she was the only one who came to the table earlier.

Eve came in from outside, looking like she’d just been inside a tornado. Her hair was wild and tangled, and her clothes looked like they had been whipped around in a strong wind. Her eyes were glowing with excitement, and she looked around the room as she combed her hair with her fingers, trying to work through some of the knots. She had been outside messing with her powers, since practicing inside often led to trouble, and some very bad messes. Good thing I keep my hair short , she thought, somewhat amused by the thought of what she probably looked like right now. Gliding through the hallways, she went in search of her friends, looking for something to do now that she was inside. Boredom was not on the list of things that she wanted to deal with today.
“Anyone in here?” She called, flicking a door open with her telekinesis. The door slammed against the wall harder than she intended, and she flinched at the loud bang that it made. “Ouch . . .” She mumbled, placing a hand on her head to try and still the dull pain that was now throbbing through her head. “Someone had better be in here.” She said, her voice now taking on more of an annoyed tone as a small breeze began to flow through the room, ruffling her hair. She really didn’t want to have to endure this headache for nothing.

It was early and Vesper had been up for a while, but not quite out of bed. After falling asleep early the previous night, she just finished reading the first volume of a new book series she had started a few weeks ago. It was alright, but now long time to get up. Slipping from under the covers and making her bed, Vesper didn't waste any time on getting changed and organising her stuff for the day. And with one last glance at the clock, showing nine thirty sharp, Vesper was gone. Perhaps it wasn't so early after all.
As she did nearly every morning now, the young girl walked past every bedroom, briefly giving two knocks against each door as to wake anyone up who was still sleeping. It wasn't to bother them, but to get everyone up by a timely manner as they should. If they weren't, then at least she tried.
After a quick bite of breakfast consisting of a leftover smoothie, some blueberries and a glass of water, Vesper slipped in and out of the library with what looked like an old medical book under her arm. Walking to a living room, Vesper sat down, legs crossed on a sofa and began reading.
When suddenly Vesper closed the book as the sound of a door slamming against the wall startled her. She stayed completely still until she heard a familiar voice, making her heave a soft sigh. "Someone is in here,"
She then quietly replied, getting up from her position with the book still in her arms as she walked towards Eve. "Now, you know to be careful with wind inside the house"
She smiled sweetly, carefully reaching up to pad down some ruffled strands of Eve's hair. "So what's the matter?"

Eve winced inwardly. Her headache was making her sound sensitivity go up slightly. She merely shrugged, and playfully batted Vesper's hand away from her hair. "Hey, hey, not the hair, it's perfect as it is." She quipped with a light dose of sarcasm. "Also that was telekinesis, not wind. The breeze is because theslam pretty much killed my head." She answered, her voice taking on a more dry tone. "Which is… very annoying honestly." She did calm the breeze and disperse it though, causing a few papers in the room to flutter a bit. "I know better than to use my powers in here. Anyways, is anyone else up?" She questioned, smoothing her hair back down.

Complying, Vesper stepped back with a small smile and playfully squinted eyes as her hand got batted away. She didn't say anything, but the look of Eve's hair was still amusing to her. "Right, sorry."
She replied, casually moving to put away the book she'd been reading inside a cupboard where hopefully no one would care to find it. Or at least, look at it.
"Although you ought to be more careful with your telekinesis then. Would some ice help perhaps?"
Book put, away she walked back to her sister with the same smile, gently commenting on what she had been told. It held no malice, just advice for everyone's sakes. She held her hands behind her back, happily rocking back and forth on her feet when she heard Eve's next question. Pausing, Vesper lifted her eyes to the ceiling in thought. "Hm.. I beliieve so. The only one who I haven't seen yet is Santiago, although I did knock on his door earlier so I'd hope he's awake."
That sounded about right. Vesper held back a slight laugh when seeing Eve was smoothing her hair out after all - guess she just preferred to do it herself. "Anyway, I don't reckon you came 'slamming' in here just to ask that. Did you? Is there anything else you require, or just some company?"
