RiverClan Patrols

[Captain]

➢ All patrols are due before the end of July 9th at 12am EST. Please let me know if your character needs to be switched out for another, because if patrol leaders do not report in their patrols or tell Snowleap that someone failed to show, then they are subject to punishment. Please let me know if your patrol needs an extension as soon as possible.

With a heavy sigh leaving the dark-furred deputy, Snowleap strode across the clearing and over to his usual spot underneath the Streamstone. It had been several sunrises since the last batch of patrols he sent out, so that obviously needed to change. He raised his partial gaze to the sky and scowled at the scattered clouds. Just one time, Snowleap wished he could send out patrols on a sunny day. But regardless of the dreary weather, things needed to get done. Or else RiverClan would surely fall apart. He took a deep breath of fresh air before starting.

“RiverClan warriors and apprentices, please gather! This moon’s second batch of patrols are being sent out!”

“Bluebellcrackle. [ @Slushie ] Take Stormfall [ @lucidense ] and Sedgepaw [ @CatontheMoon ] to mark the ThunderClan border.”
[ optional patrol prompt: everything seems pretty peaceful for the most part, but you get the strange feeling that something is watching you. ]

“Pebblecreek [ @corgigirl ], Frozenpaw [ @GoldenDays ] and Robinpaw [ @starry. ]. You three are assigned to ShadowClan.”
[ optional patrol prompt: there are a large amount of hoof tracks here, possibly belonging to a herd of deer that came through. ]

“And for WindClan, I shall send Wormbite [ @x ghostie ], Lynxfall [ @Memento Mori ] and his apprentice, Fawnpaw [ @marni ].”
[ optional patrol prompt: all seems good around here! wait… what’s that poking out behind that bush? oh starclan, it’s a djungelskog! ]

Border patrols were now done, next up was hunting patrols. Snowleap paused before continuing.

“Vinewatcher [ @Clock Dragonshifter ]. Take your apprentice, Littlepaw [ @SpiritedWarrior ], and head to Cattail Pond.”
[ optional patrol prompt: there’s an orange snake with white rings in the grass. do you leave it alone or investigate the strange creature? ]

“Frecklecry. [ @duckie ] You and Flickerpaw [ @xath ] should go check out Lionsbeach and hunt what you can.”
[ optional patrol prompt: there seemed to be a bunch of strange animals snoozing on the beach, twolegs know them as seals. ]

“Flamesong [ @Morning! ] and Softecho [ @Raven~ ]. I’ll leave Haven Springs to you two for good hunting.”
[ optional patrol prompt: good luck hunting through all the steam from the springs, because it’s made the area rather foggy. ]

“Tigerfire [ @Breezestarfire ] and Dovebark [ @Cardboard box ] are assigned to hunt in the main hunting grounds.”
[ optional patrol prompt: you see a family of loons swimming in the river, they aren’t fish, but still food. do you try and catch them? ]

“Report back before sunset! You all know the routine.” Snowleap called out to the RiverClan cats who were gathered before him, his tail swishing along the ground behind him. Hopefully, these ones would do well and he wouldn’t have to worry about punishing anyone.

Frozen’paw he-they

Frozen’paw walked up quietly to the patrol place. A patrol with Pebble’creek? That was something he’d be down for any day. Not that he would ever skip a patrol but having such a close friend with him was definitely an encouraging factor. He couldn’t say he knew Robin’paw all that well, but maybe he could step out of his comfort zone and attempt to make a friend? He only really had two, if you really wanted to count Snow’leap, but other than him, he’d only consider himself close to Pebble’creek. More friends was good right?

Softecho padded over to Flamesong. “Ready to go hunting?” She asked.

Littlepaw heard her name and Vinewatcher's name get called for patrol and began searching for her mentor. Yes, my first patrol! She finally felt like a member of her Clan, happy to be able to contribute.
"Vinewatcher, we're on a hunting patrol! We're going to Cattail Pond! Come on, come on!" Littlepaw was excited. Finally, some time to explore the territory and see what it had to offer!
Littlepaw darted forward, ahead of her mentor, and out of the camp she then stopped and waited for the warrior to follow behind.

As per usual her pointy ears turned towards the deputy as he assigned the patrols to see if she was placed on any of them, and it seemed she was. Softecho to Haven Springs for hunting. Sure, hunting was quite high up on her skill set, so it was reasonable for her to be placed with that duty. Flamesong was also pleased with the fact that Softecho seemed active, and was in fact the one approaching her, and not the other way around like it usually was. "Of course." The Toyger assumed her clanmate's question was more of a politeness and greeting than an actual question so she treated it as such before turning and heading for the springs

As soon as she heard her name called, the black and white she-cat rose to her paws and abandoned the mouse she'd been idly snacking on. Her nose twitched. ThunderClan border, how fun. Just one more thing to be worried about.

With a flick of one round ear, she paused by the camp's reed tunnel to wait for her patrolmates. She was only mildly disappointed that Pumpkinpaw hadn't been sent along with her - the brat could use some walking.

Sedgepaw's head popped out from behind the apprentice's den at the call of their name. They spotted Bluebellcrackle waiting beside the entrance of the camp, waiting for Sedgepaw and their other patrolmates to join.

Excitedly trotting over to the RiverClan warrior, Sedgepaw meowed with delight. "A patrol, wowie! I haven't been on a patrol in like- ever!" Sedgepaw placed a dull yellow and orange beetle on their orange tabby back, smiling. "I'm bringing Sunshine with me!"

Stormfall rose to her feet, stretching before joining the patrol leader at the tunnel entrance. The grey molly smiled politely at Bluebellcrackle, turning to wait for the final member to join them. @Slushie @CatontheMoon

Dovebark nodded and started making her way to the gorse tunnel
