It hadn't been that long since Wildspark had been resurrected and then he went missing again. He really didn't have a good track record did he? Well he had an excuse. Not sure if it was a good one, but he had one. The tom moved along familiar territory of his home, hoping to find someone to bring him to the leader. Wildspark scented the familiar scent of Thunderclan, relief flooding through him.

Possumpaw
◖ Male[he/him] - Post 58 ◗

After the Hunting training session with his mentor Possumpaw was just sitting in the clearing. He was thinking about finding another cat to go hunting with him later now that he had the proper hunting crouch. Sure he could leave on his own like he always did, but now he was wanting to go out with someone. He didn't care who as long as they didn't upset him. The blind tom looked at nothing.

Gentlepaw
◖ Female[she/her] - Post 14 ◗

Moving out of the Apprentice's den Gentlepaw looked around for her mentor, but then decided to try and talk to someone else. She really needed to make friends. The only cat she knew was Possumpaw and she only met him once. She didn't feel like bothering him right now. Gentlepaw wanted someone new who she had never talked to before.

Goosepaw

Not haven't seen her mentor Goosepaw was found bored again in the Thunderclan clearing. She stayed further away from Gentlepaw and Possumpaw not really wanting to interact with anyone. Well she needed to interact with someone. Maybe someone would be nice enough to take her out for training.

"Oh, hi, Goosepaw!" Mapleleaf greeted with a purr as she ate the thrush. "Is your mentor busy?"

RainySpirit lifted her head as Cinderstar padded into the nursery, LeafNight had gone into the clearing to collect some prey for her, so she was pretty bored. She smiled at the leader, slightly confused why she was here before she noticed the little white ball of fluff the molly was carrying. Snowkit, was it? Why is Cinderstar..? she flicked her tail slightly, weird.

RainySpirit was about to wake her kits so they could feed until the leader turned to her, explaining what was happening with Snowkit and the queen felt a pang of sympathy. “Of course, of course. If you want she can come over and join me and my kits, perhaps being somewhere even more cozy will help her get a better rest” she smiled back at Cinderstar, as the molly ducked out of the nursery RainySpirit looked over at Snowkit’s nest.

Jeez, she really does look exhausted.. the tortie noticed as she studied the white kit from across the nursery. I wonder if I should bring her over here..

Possumpaw

Right after going to Firefly cove to collect the blue flowers the young tom found himself heading up to Cinderstar's den. That was the cat he wanted to gift to. She was a great leader and a great cat in general and she deserved it. Possumpaw scented the air to make sure he was heading in the right den before entering. The tom set down the three blue flowers. "Cinderstar?", he called. The scent was making it hard for him to tell if she was in or not.

Dimhazel softly pads through the territory, a white not-quite-newborn kitten clutched carefully in their jaws as they navigate their way back home. A sudden breeze brush past the two and the kitten begins to squeal, wiggling and flailing in displeasure at the cold.
They stop, finding a sheltered spot to set the kit, wrapping their tail around the kitten to warm her and she snuggled closer to hide away from anymore offensive cold.
The fawn coloured cat sighs, grooming their new responsibility's little face, a sad affection in their gaze. They'd have to ask one of the queens in the nursery to feed her, as they wouldn't be able to. Hopefully no one would turn her down because she wasn't Clanborn, but maybe they'd lie and say she was to make the possibility less likely.
Their ears swiveled as they heard a noise, head turning to follow the direction and they leaned foward defensively, only relaxing again when they noticed it was only Cinderstar, even straightening their posture but still slightly dipping their head to her.
"Cinderstar," they started, not quite sure what to say, so they left the questions and prodding that were sure to come up to the leader, and simply answer truthfully.

It was easy enough to agree with her mate. Though she had not known the former RiverClan leader all that well, his behavior at gatherings representing his Clan left a bitter taste in her mouth. The night he had stormed into camp and clawed his way up the Thunderwillow burned like fire in her mind - each death was sad and tragic, but honestly she thought RiverClan better off without the dark tomcat in power.

A conversation away from the masses... it was an interesting concept. The first thought Cinderstar had was almost automatic, in that by doing that they would surely be walking right into the (poisoned) claws of RiverClan. A conversation alone, with a medicine cat known to poison others in defense of his Clan. Cinderstar could see quite clearly that the young tom would do almost anything to defend RiverClan, and that at least was commendable. The ways, not so much.

"You seemed to be able to get through to him, if he fled the battle without carrying through his plan. Perhaps... that cat should be you." It was an obvious choice, and someone that Snakeheart might feel more ready to listen to. For any fault she had (Cinderstar liked to believe there were none) Nectarflame had a persuasive way about her, almost like songbirds calling out to kits.

There was still much to think over and consider when it came to this, and Cinderstar found that she did not wish to make any decision on it now. "I will think it over, because I do not wish for this to blow up anymore than it already has." A sigh left her. "Our feud with RiverClan has gone on long enough, and it is time that I wish to start to put the past in the past and focus on building ThunderClan up. We will speak with him about this, and then hopefully it can be placed back in the past."

Another soft chuckle in the dim lighting as Cinderstar stretched her neck out to give a swift lick on the cheek of her mate. "Whatever I decide, it will not be done as just a leader addressing Snakeheart but the Clan as a whole. They all deserve closure from such a traumatic time. Thank you for telling me."

A sigh left her as she was given no other reasoning, or really no reaction at all to what she had said. At that point she knew whatever other words came out would only fall on deaf ears. "I will honor your request to change your names. But do keep in mind what I have said." She really did hope they would take it to heart.

"With that being said, what are you wishing for your new names to be?"



Cinderstar
Hearing the report of how the patrols had been going, Cinderstar couldn't stop the disappointment from crossing her face. Not in Sparrowflight, but in the fact that ThunderClan warriors were falling back into old habits. That certainly would not do, especially if they wished to become a Clan once more in the eyes of their neighbors.

She was glad to hear of the idea of doubling the hunting patrols. "Good idea. I agree that the extra patrols will hopefully help supplement any warriors that fail to do their duties. Perhaps, we can even look at sending out mentor and apprentice duos for the extra hunting patrols, so that our warriors can catch two mice with one claw." Catching prey for the Clan while also teaching their apprentice how to do the same, so that they were ready for when they became warriors.

With a nod of her head, she let silence fall after her last words, her eyes glazing over something of a more serious nature. "There was one more thing I wanted to talk to you about... And that was about a certain elder I'm sure you have noticed who is no longer in camp." A slight droop of her shoulders, but nothing too major, as she spoke of Ridgeclaw. Their former mentor, gone from camp without a trace. He was rather old, and though Cinderstar knew he could handle himself she couldn't help but be worried for his safety.



Cinderstar
It was a rather cute sight as Ashenkit explained the game to her. Fuzzy memories of playing it with her own siblings when they had all been kits stirred in her mind and garnered a purr from her. The days had been long and blissful, when all she had to worry about was who out of her siblings could bat the ball the farthest.

"That sounds like a wonderful game!" It held no harm in allowing the kit to believe that she had introduced the game to her - it had been many, many moons since she had last played too. As she readied herself, she let out a mrrow of surprise as the moss ball sailed overhead and tumbled close to the back of the den. With a smile Cinderstar turned and retrieved it with one paw, soon going back to her original spot.

At the comparison of their names, Cinderstar smiled. "You're right. Ashen- is a lovely name too, and I am certain that it will make for a beautiful warrior name in the future." She lightly tossed the moss ball back over to Ashenkit, making sure it wasn't too fast or too high for the youngster to reach up and grab it. "I was actually named after my mother's mother. Cinderbear - a warrior who lived quite some time ago in ThunderClan." A story she had been told as a young kit and into her apprenticeship. Fitting that her warrior name then came as an honor to her mother as well.

Songblossom nodded. “I would like to be called Raccoonmask and Pine’leap would like to be sootstone.” she mewed, purring. Pine’leap nodded and dipped her head.

Biting her lip, Sunnykit clumsily stumbled into the leader's den, green eyes darting around in an attempt to locate Cinderstar. She didn't like having a missing hind leg, and no one else liked it, either. The problem wasn't that she disliked it, though - the problem was that she wanted to stay in ThunderClan, but what if Cinderstar did not want her here? What if she was too weak? Nervous, she looked at the flower in her maw - it had big white petals, and she'd found it in the nursery. "C- cinderstar?" the kit stammered, dropping the flower in front of the leader.

"I- I found this in the nursery! I hope you like it! Er, but, c- can I talk to you about something...?" Her gaze landed upon her missing hind leg, and she quickly attempted to distract herself by looking at the flower again. Don't be nervous. Don't be. Don't be. Everything's gonna be fine!

Rosepaw heard the sounds of conflict die down and her mind relaxed a little. The young she cat looked at Lotuspaw's body again and her heart scrunched up. She tried to get up but could not. So she just stood there, in a tight, sad loaf, tears and mucus leaking out of her face. She was glad the clan was getting a patrol together to defend the territory from the coyotes. Her heart, however, dreaded losing any more of them.

She couldn't move. She just had to look at her dead sibling. Her mind was slowly weaving into realization, like a snake in a tunnel. Lotuspaw was dead. Her closest cat. Dead. Her only friend. Dead. Sagepaw was gone. The others were kind but...she'd never really befriended any of them, besides maybe Sundust. She would never see Lotuspaw again. She remembered how they'd kept her safe after momma died. She couldn't do the same. ThunderClan finally didn't have to go to war, to face infighting. She'd seen Lotuspaw had friends. A life. Why did it have to be cut short? Why....

Why was she alone? She had never been alone before.

She became dimly aware of Moosecrash's presence.
"I...I can't move." she said to no one in particular.

Hearing the sad little voice next to him, Moosecrash pulled his gaze away from Cinderstar once more, and gently placed a paw on the crumpled, distraught form of Rosepaw.
"It's okay. You don't have to move. Not until you're ready. And when you are, I'll help you," he said softly, settling down next to his small friend. Tucking his paws beneath his chest, the tom pressed his shoulder against the medicine cat. As long as she needed his presence, he would stay.
