Swankit quickly glanced over to Snowkit and Violetkit, relived that they were happy again, before looking back up a Cinderstar. She felt as if a weight had been lifted off of her. She would’ve tried to talk to them, but decided against it, as to not interrupt their reunion. She wouldn’t to distract herself from the ceremony, anyways.

She felt exhausted and overwhelmed. Her breathed heavily before her eyes brightened to see a brown tom in the corner of her eye. Excitement rushed through her to see Thrushfur enter the nursery. She looked down to see her kits, they all had the same coat color as Thrushfur. She eyed one kit who seemed oddly thin, she frowned worried for the kits health. And the splotched kit was as quiet as a mouse, unlike her other sibling who was like a barking dog. She scooted the kit over to her stomach to suckle for milk.

Their wet fur made her immediately clean them as her tongue lapped against her kits flank. Making sure they were clean and dry for them to be comfortable enough. A yawn escaped her midway, she finished grooming her kits as she lay her head down on the side. Her eyes cold as she was filled with drowsiness. She felt like she has forgotten something. Right, names!

She looked up towards Thrushfur with delicate green eyes then mewed.

" Have you, thought of any names? "

She groggily asked, though she has some in mind. Looking to the three scraps of fur once more against her stomach.

His eyes were still on the kits, watching them move around and being all squeals. His ears clogged as his mind drifted elsewhere before snapping back to reality to Quailfurs meow.

" Well er.. "

His mind went blank, he narrowed his eyes before perking his ears in his quick thinking.

" How about for the kit that was squealing earlier Crowkit? That kit is as loud as those birds during Leaf-fall anyway. Always scaring off prey. "

He muttered silently, he looked towards the thin-kit with heavy eyes. He'd better tell Sundust about it just to be sure, Quailfur can't leave the nursery with newborns. His fur spiked up in worry.

" For the brown splotched one how about Quietkit? I don't have any other ideas. Any ideas for the other brown tabby? "

He looked towards the other brown tabby, he internally felt that he could relate to the kit without any input on them. It felt like he was seeing his young self when he was in apprenticehood. Perhaps he was going crazy, these cute little things were making him unlike his usual self.

She blankly stared at the tom, a bit offended by his ideas. Tilting her head glancing towards the suckling kits.

" Crowkit.. Quietkit.. mm. Fallowkit? Their fur reminds of the fresh sunlight when it comes through on a chilly morning. Like when sun-down happens. Of course their not a ginger kit. Quietkit would be good, with their lack of squealing. But I'm a bit worried about their health. Crowkit is excellent. I wouldn't mind them being named after a loud bird. "

She quietly giggled, then slightly turned. Making sure not to move her kits while they were drinking. Moving her muzzle under their stomachs to check their genders.

" She-cat, She-cat.. and a tom. "

She huffed as she yawned once more. Her thinking speed lowered as all she wanted to do was drift off to sleep. Laying on her side as she breathed heavily.

" Now if you may Thrushfur, let me sleep in peace. I feel really exhausted after kitting. "

She nodded towards Thrushfur before closing her eyes. Waiting for sleep to take over her and set her mind at ease.

The newly named Crowkit was too tired after getting milk to continue to squeak. He fell asleep shortly, still sticking close to his siblings and mother's belly. His small mind was unaware of Quietkit's condition.

Rushfire giggled at all the questions thrown at her. "I don't know much more, unfortunately. Though I'm sure the small brown cat and Willow had a happily ever after - leaders or not." Rushfire lay down on her belly and tucked one paw to her chest.
The story had maybe worn her out, since she went silent, under the shade of the willow tree and the gathering clouds.
Finally, Rushfire spoke again. "I can play moss ball for awhile if you like." She mewed, eager to do some activity now that her breath was spent. "But after that, maybe you could find another kit to play with, Snowkit, was it? I think I'll go hunting soon." @SpiritedWarrior

The she-kit nodded and passed the moss ball to the warrior, her green eyes gleaming with happiness as she thinks of the game of moss ball she had played with a couple of younger kits in the nursery, Swankit and Vinekit. "I'm nearly six moons, I have to go attend the ceremony after this!" she purred excitedly.

“well You’re not useless to me, don’t say that about yourself, and if you’re lonely you have to try talk to others, i’m sure some of them will want to talk and be friends with you Blazekit, and if you have friends you won’t be lonely anymore” Finchflight meowed “what happened that made you feel lonely and useless..?”
