Acornpaw let out a long breath of relief, knowing that everything would be ok. He felt guilty- Stormpaw went in after the kit even though they didn't know how to climb, but he didn't take the risk. If Stormpaw hadn't shown up.. he lowered his head. "I'm not hurt." He said quietly. He watched Winterkit with concern. Winterkit limped over to Thunderblaze. “My paw really hurts.” He whimpered. He could feel the bone move around whenever it touched the ground. And it kept moving the wrong way… @marni @silentstalk @poppy. @Wingnettle

Cloudyflight climbed down, and placed the kitten on the ground. She looked up as Cinderstar approached, and as Winterkit gave his version, then she tried to open her mouth and reply but then Thunderstalk came over and started talking rather loudly. His version was quite.... Detailed. "It seems as though you saw it all, but never lent a paw to help? Even with a child falling out of the tree and Winterkit getting injured?" She snapped irritable, narrowing her eyes at this incompetent lazy moron. Turning back to address the Bengal leader, she flicked her tail in the direction of Winterkit. "Winterkit climbed up the tree - how he possesses the knowledge on how to climb a tree floors me - and Stormpaw and Acornpaw came to help. Stormpaw climbed up to the kid, and at this point, I had reached the Thunderwillow, and I climbed up. Stormpaw passed Winterkit to me, and as I was climbing down with him, Stormpaw fell. I don't know the extent of his injuries, all I know is that Winterkit's paw is injured."

The leader's words made her frown. at least I showed up at all. She thought rebelliously, but then the words went through her irritation, and she nodded, lowering her head apologeticlly. "Sorry... I'll be more vigilant in the future." Of course. Ridiculous. I have more things to do than to watch the trees for idiotic children. I'm a warrior I have hunting and patrolling to do, it isn't my fault that the child is too stupid for his own good. Frowning, she turned away with a farewell head dip and left the clearing, heading out of camp. This whole situation was just far too aggravating.

She was sad that Lotuspaw has died. No cat deserved to die, let alone an apprentice. She bowed her head in sorrow. Let Lotuspaw live forever on with the spirits of Starclan. Rosepaw must be so sad.

Winterkit stared at his paw, clearly embarrassed for starting everything. He let himself be picked up by Stormpaw. “Sorry…” He told the apprentice. The blood on his paw had dried, and he didn’t want to lick it. @poppy. @marni @SpiritedWarrior @lucidense @Wingnettle @silentstalk

Mapleleaf nodded at Stormpaw and walked to the medicine den. She began to call for Sundust or Rosepaw.

"Sundust! Rosepaw! Prepare your herbs, you're about to get two cats in need of healing!" she yowled then looked back at Cinderstar. "I understand, Cinderstar! Won't happen again!"

Hearing Cloudyflight speak, she gave a nod to her former apprentice. "The main thing is that no one was seriously hurt." Or at least it didn't seem like it considering no one was yowling their heads off (not anymore).

With a sigh she watched Stormpaw carry the kit to the medicine den alongside Mapleleaf. Cinderstar would perhaps have to make an announcement that climbing on the Thunderwillow was off limits to prevent anymore instances like this.

She gave a flick of her tail before padding off. She would be sure to check in later with how everyone was doing, but for now she did not wish to crowd Sundust.
