Acornpaw took on the cheer, joining the symphony of voices. "Marigoldpaw! Wisteriapaw! He never paid particular attention to clan meetings, but chanting the names was always his favorite part- like you could feel all the voices morphing together into a chant, his clans chant- it was.. exhilarating.

Acornpaw padded into the apprentice den, muttering 'excuse me's as he stepped around the other apprentices. In his sleepy haze, he accidentally stepped on Stormpaw's tail. (Sorry for the short post!) @silentstalk

stormpaw yowled" ow!" he says looking back at his tail he looked up at acornpaw" oh hi acornpaw you look sleepily" he says calmling down

Acornpaw's fur puffed out, snapped out of his sleepy trance by the toms yowl. He stared blankly at them for a moment, before registering what had happened. "Oh! I'm so sorry, Stormpaw-" Acornpaw examined his tail, ears pinned to his head with guilt. "Yeah.. I'm-" He interrupted himself with a yawn, then quickly covered his mouth, embarassed. "..pretty tired," His fur smoothed again. "Sorry, again-" @silentstalk

The old shecat turned to the young apprentice, giving a small smile. "Hello darlin.. Ticks you say? That'll be nice.." She let out a rumbly purr, laying her head down. Clearwhisper was getting old, very old, but she kept her sweet spirit.

Acornpaw tilted his head to the side, to keep the foul smelling bile from dripping off the moss, and into his fur. He carefully stepped over sleeping elders, Sitting next to the old shecat. The elder gave off a very.. homey vibe, if that made sense. He pressed down the soaked moss on a tick. He was very gentle, as if he feared that if he pressed to hard the molly would shatter like glass. "Um.. Clearwhisper? Do you have any stories?" @Cxndy_Fatal

She purred, glancing up at Acornpaw, with her one eye. "Of course I do, sweetfur. I've been alive since Mousepool's birth, shes almost 50 moon's now. Anyways. What kind of story would you like to hear?" She asked politely, the satisfaction of feeling the tick let go of her pelt.

Acornpaw was startled by the elders missing eye, and he quickly scolded himself. Don't be rude! He squashed a tick with his claws. "Uh.." How did you lose your eye? No, wait- that might be too personal. "Um- what about your first ever battle?" That might be helpful.. considering the high tensions with Riverclan. @Cxndy_Fatal

"My first battle? Ah.. That was something to remember, its how I lost my eye." She swished her tail. "Come, gather close young one, as its A tale to tell!" She purred. "Back when I was just a little ol' apprentice, I was sent into battle with Riverclan, I believe. I'm a bit fuzzy on that part. I was battling along side Honeypaw, my best friend.. She was killed during that battle. I was face to face with a Riverclan warrior.. Stonedapple I believe. She was fierce, an amazing battler. If we weren't on opposite sides, I would've praised her for her skill. I was too busy watching what Honeypaw was doing, when suddenly, Stonedapple aimed a skillful blow at my eye, cleanly taking it out perfectly! After that battle, some apprentices joked about my warrior name being Losteye, but thankfully the leader was just, and I got the name I earned."

Wow? Their first battle? Acornpaw felt his paw hover near his eye. With a possible first battle coming up- he feared what might happen. "I'm sorry about your friend.. and your eye, too." He popped another tick. "Did you ever find your lost eye?" He shivered at the thought of a moons old eye, sitting somewhere on the battlefield. @Cxndy_Fatal
