Squirrelpaw walked out of the apprentices den after a long rest, she sat in the clearing and immediately started playing with a nearby moss ball. After a few minutes she got bored and started playing with her own tail. She longed to play with another cat but the longing soon vanished when she spotted a beetle to toss around. After she accidentally squashed the beetle her longing returned.

Weaselpaw stepped into the clearing waving his striped tail around, he glanced towards Squirrelpaw who switched with different things in order to settle her entertainment levels. He picked up his pace and trotted over to Squirrelpaw. I don't think she's seen me yet. He bent down as he shouted a greeting.

" Hi Squirrelpaw! What are you doing there with your paw? "

He blinked innocently, though he shouted a bit too loud. He didn't realize what he could have done to Squirrelpaws ears. He waved his tail as he stood there waiting for Squirrelpaw to sense his presence.

Lavenderkit followed Quietkit's blow with a weak swipe of her paw, missing quite terribly as it looked like she was aiming for a whole other kit. Lavenderkit turned toward Quietkit and swiped her paw again, missing by only a hair. Her tail twitched, annoyed at herself that she could make the attack.

Squirrelpaw turned her head around to see the friendly looking striped tom that matched the voice. She thought for a moment then replied, “I was trying to catch a beetle, but I accidentally squashed it.” She realized how stupid she sounded a bit late, for the words she had said made her sound like nothing but a kit. She grinned awkwardly, then asked what the tom’s name was,
“If you don’t mind me asking, what is your name? I didn’t catch it.”

"While I am not Vinekit's real grandmother, I do enjoy acting as so. I knew Vineoit's mother when she was an apprentice." She continued cleaning Vinekit's pelt, purring quietly to herself.

Cinderstar
As the chanting died down, Cinderstar gave a small to the new warriors. "You will both sit vigil tonight at the camp entrance. Come the rise of the sun tomorrow, you will both make your nests in the warriors' den." She gave them each a nod before turning and ascending back atop the Thunderwillow, where she resumed her stance and angled her ears to call for silence.

"There are also two warriors among us who feel as though their current names no longer represent who they are. Pineleap and Songblossom, please step forward." She couldn't recall if she had ever seen a name ceremony be done in all her moons of life, but she recalled her mother telling her stories as a young kit about them. Thankfully because of that, she was able to remember the words of the ceremony.

"Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name," Cinderstar began, casting a glance up towards the clear sky. "I ask you now to take away the name from the cats you see before you, for it no longer stands for what they are. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give these cats their new names. Pineleap, from this moment on you will be known as Sootstone for your sturdiness. Songblossom, from this moment on you will be known as Raccoonmask for your stealth."

She gave a nod to the two cats, hoping that they would do well under these new names and not allow the opinions of others to soil them as they had with their original names.

A few moments passed to give the Clan a chance to chant the new names before Cinderstar moved on to locate a member of the Clan. She had put it off long enough, and the Clan needed to be made aware of this cat. In the light of Snowcloud's death, she found it hard to keep this dangerous cat in the Clan a second longer.

"We also have a cat in our midst who needs to face punishment for crimes he committed against his own Clanmate," Cinderstar called, taking a seat on the Thunderwillow. "Smokeclaw was discovered in the territory attacking Snowcloud. Now, with her death discovered, I cannot in good faith continue to keep this cat as a member of ThunderClan."

A part of her wondered if this should be kept to a vote - but Cinderstar had a feeling what would come of it. A majority would cast their votes for his exile. A punishment such as demotion would be unfitting, and the bengal leader wished to not have this tom anywhere around those she cared about.

"Smokeclaw, you have used your claws against one of your own Clanmates. I, and the rest of ThunderClan, will not tolerate this kind of behavior any longer. You are hereby exiled from the Clan. Sunshadow, Pinecrash, I want you to escort him to the outskirts. If you are spotted on ThunderClan territory after tonight, Smokeclaw, you will be treated as an outsider." She gave a nod to the two warriors she had called forward to help escort the tom out of the territory, her eyes and face hard set.

[ Smokeclaw has been exiled. Pinecrash and Sunshadow have been asked to escort him to the territory; if he is spotted in the territory again after this meeting he is to be treated as a trespasser ]
