Rabbitkit bounded happily out of the nursery, his nub of a tail sticking strait up behind him as he took off across the clearing. He looked up at Twilightstar in admiration, taking his place amongst the other clan cats beneath the Breezerock. She always looked so stoic and wise sitting up high above the rest of the clan. What would their noble leader be calling a meeting for this time? He wondered.

Wry from all of his chores, With a yawn, Pinepaw crawled forward and sat down. He had been up late night trying to make up for his mistakes, so now, he had a headache. But he thought he deserved it, so he didn’t try to do anything to stop it. The Tom sat down under the rock for the meeting, and looked up at Twilightstar.

Streampelt was closer to the Breezerock this time but still a distance away.

Midnightpaw padded up to the Breezerock.

Martenpaw quickly padded over to the rock and sat down in the front, curious as to what the leader had called hem outside for. She had never been to a gathering before, and he only stuff she was really old about as a kit was elder stories, so she didn't really know much.

Plumkit left the nursery, downcast. It didn't seem like Rosykit was feeling well enough to come, so she sat in the nursery entrance to watch the meeting.


Aspenstrike approached the Breezerock, looking around for her mate to join her.

Snowykit

Ears perking from inside the nursery as he sat next to his denmates, Snowykit looked to the entrance, seeing some of the kits and queens gathering there at the leader's call. Eyes shining with curiosity, the large kit padded forward carefully, trying not to step or trip on anyone's tail. Finally at the entrance, he squeezed through, pressing himself accidentally against Fireflame as he tried to get a good view of Breezerock along with the others.

"Sorry," he lightly whispered at Fireflame, blinking apologetically at her. Twitching his whiskers, he kneaded his paws on the ground, silently asking for permission to lay next to her for the meeting, not daring to be so bold and as to simply impose, knowing she might prefer to save the spot for her own kits.

The large kit purred in response and began to settle down as he turned his attention back towards Breezerock. Out of the corner of his eye, however, he couldn't help but notice Fireflame's movement. Turning his own head around and following her gaze, he could tell her mind was still firmly on her litter. Unable to help himself, Snowykit felt a prickle of guilt kindle in the pit of his stomach. He really was overstepping his familiarity with Fireflame. What would happen if one of her kits wanted to come sit with her? Why, he would be right in the way! His ears flattened slightly, mildly unsettled by the idea of being the one getting between family members, no matter in how small a fashion.

Quietly, the silent tom got up and moved to the outside, sitting just outside the nursery entrance. Mindful not to cover the opening for anyone else, he kept a bit apart, laying aside from the way in. His paws to the front as he comfortably settled down, he perked his ears once more, his attention on the leader.

fireflame looked at snowykit seeing he moved her ears pricked and her whiskers twitched her gaze fell upon the leader again
