Echosong's whiskers twitched in annoyance as her search around the clearing once again came up empty. Was her handful of an apprentice hiding from her or was she just searching in the wrong places? One of these days I'm going to find my old kittypet collar and put it on Crowpaw. She thought, sitting down with a defeated sigh to lick at her chest fur. The molly had wanted to take them out for a hunting lesson and grab some lunch but alas. I really don't feel like hunting alone, and I know Shallowshiver is busy. What's a girl to do? Her solution came in the form of a nearby orange apprentice who Echosong knew was lacking training. Bingo.
"Flamepaw!" Her stomach's growl was nearly as loud as her call. Embarrassing. "Want to head out on a hunting session with me? Might be a good chance for some training... and some lunch."
Flamepaw looked up at the sound of her name and searched for the one who had called her. Her eyes laid on Echosong, who seemed to be… very hungry. Had she skipped out on breakfast? Flamepaw smiled and got up with a stretch. Her legs needed it, especially since Rushfire seemed to be rather non-existent in the clearing. And my training. the young apprentice shook her head. What was she, about 7 moons old now? Nearly 8? It seemed like only yesterday Flamepaw had just received her new name and Rushfire as her mentor. But no matter, if Rushfire wasn’t doing her job in mentoring, then she’d depend on another warrior for it.
“Hunting session? Sure! That sounds great!” Flamepaw purred as she walked over to the warrior. I guess Crowpaw was skipping out on his training again. How will he become a warrior if he doesn’t show up for training? Does he want to be an apprentice forever?

When noticing Ravenpaw being comforted by Cinderstar, Crowpaw wanted to chime in. "RAVEN! RAVEN! Whoever finishes patrol first wins!!" When they heard Cinderstar reply to their previous statement, they exchanged glances between their leader and...patrol leader? All this leadership stuff was confusing. Now Asterdance was in charge and not Cinderstar...? Okay then...
At this point, Crowpaw was practically hopping with anticipation to get the patrol over with. "Come on, come on! Lets go! Crow wants to beat Raven!"
In an instant, Crowpaw's eyes were drawn to the beautiful variations of shells, feathers, rocks, and other knick-knacks Mistheart was fiddling with. Their eyes widened in awe. "Whoooah! Those are soooo pretty!" They purred loudly, crouching down to get a closer look at everything. They'd never seen a collection this big before -- nor have they seen any collection other than their own before! This was such a cool moment! "You like collecting things?" Crowpaw asked, trying to sit still and not knock anything out of place. "I have a collection, too! Though, it's a little small right now; I used to have a bigger one before I joined the ThunderClan, but mine wasn't as big or pretty as yours!"
Hazelkit sat down with an annoyed grunt as she squinted at the leader. This was so unfair! "It's so boring in camp, though! And I don't want to wait until I'm an apprentice to leave camp. Can you show us around the territory? You're the leader, which means you're the strongest, so you'll be able to protect us. Please, please, please!" She was shameless in her desire to go outside. The Siamese felt like she might explode if she stayed in camp one second longer. Her paws itched to explore or do something new instead of the old boring routine she had become used to.
This kit is so full of life! I wonder if he gets to play with the others? he left Blazekit for a moment and headed quickly torward the freshkill pile. He chose a trush and plucked some feathers from the tiny body. Than he carried the bundle in his mouth and dropped them onto the kit's body. He purred and watched the kitten play.

stormpaw chuckled with a hazey voice his tail flicked" i don't think Cinderstar will say yes she said no, a no is a no same for what i say a yes is a yes and a no is a no we said no and we mean it" he replied to the kits looking at them with a stern haze of his eyes he flicked his ear at Cinderstar

blazekit continued to roll around then feeling something on his body he spinned while trying to grab it, his tail whirled around, he then grabs the feather and starts playing with it, then going back to ashpaw he snuggled into his leg
That broke Juniperkit. “But Cinderstar- we need to see the outside world! If we stay here until we’re apprentices, we’ll be dumb and our mentors will think we’re useless!” He instantly regretted saying every word. He shrank behind his sister. @marni @NinjaBloss @silentstalk

Cinderstar
A little purr of amusement left Cinderstar. "No one expects apprentices to know it all by the time their mentor ceremony comes. Some warriors don't even have it all figured out," she reassured them, wondering where in the world they had heard that. Hopefully not from any of their Clanmates.
Shifting her gaze to Hazelkit, the silver bengal shook her head. "Now what kind of leader would I be if I told you know, but took you out anyways, hmm?" Not a very good one. Maybe there were some Clans that would allow their kits to wander about and do as they pleased, but Cinderstar knew of the dangers in the territory - and kits would not be sneaking out of camp if she had anything to say about it.
She gave a flick of her ear in response to Stormpaw before nodding to the clearing behind them. "Now run along - perhaps you three could find a warrior to show you some moves so that you'll be even more prepared when it comes time to start your actual training.". With that, she gestured with her paw for the trio to return to the clearing area.

Ashpaw sat and smoothed the kit's back with his tail, with long and slow movements. This little kit was so playful, yet so excluded from their world. He knew Blazekit would never be a warrior, but he also knew that he would be well loved and cared in Thunderclan. It was the first time Ashpaw interacted so closely with a kit.

Ashpaw sat and smoothed the kit's back with his tail, with long and slow movements. This little kit was so playful, yet so excluded from their world. He knew Blazekit would never be a warrior, but he also knew that he would be well loved and cared in Thunderclan. It was the first time Ashpaw interacted so closely with a kit.

blazekit yawned and pushed himself against ashpaw, he then curls himself up after snuggling against ashpaw hi head rubbed the leg of the apprentice while sleeping
Hazelkit let out a pout as Cinderstar once again shut down her attempts to escape... er... go on an adventure outside of camp. Why were all the adults such big meanies?! The little siamese let out a huff and turned around to pad back to the clearing with her nose in the air. "Fine then! Juniperkit and I will find something else to do without any mean adults!"
Fallowkit was glad to wake her mother with the word her father had taught her. He noticed that Quailfur told him to repeat it and Fallowkit happily exclaimed
"Mom!"
" Oh my Fallowkit! Where did you learn that from? Other kits? Or your father perhaps? "
She was driven to ask Fallowkit questions on how she was able to learn that new word. Her excitement swept over her drowsiness as her kits happiness was hers. Coming to realization that her duties as a mother were lacking horribly. She didn't want Thrushfur to do all the work for her because of how much of a dormouse she was being. So she's got to push herself to be more active. And without all the exercise she felt like she would become like a fat kittypet stuffed with food.
She turned to Thrushfur realizing he was still in the nursery with them. She asked with a soft mew.
Cinderstar
As Sundust took notice of her, Cinderstar smiled and gave a lighthearted roll of her eyes. "Just the duties that come along with the title, I guess." A small attempt at humor as she glanced at the wound on her shoulder. It stung a little bit, and was a small reminder to the older she-cat that she was not as young as she used to be. In her prime, an injury such as this wouldn't have warranted a stop. Now, she knew if she let it go on it might turn into something worse.
"There was a loner who thought it a good idea to try and hunt on ThudnerClan grounds, and then tried to bargain for our prey. I confronted them along with Batblood, and they got in a good swipe before they were chased off." If she were being honest, the fire with which the loner has defended her catch was impressive - perhaps if it had been food not caught on ThunderClan territory it would have been a different encounter.
