Squirrel? He's tried one, but never had the chance to catch one himself. He wasn't a tree climber all that much. He now knew how to climb, but with his blindness it wasn't his favorite. "I've always wanted to catch a squirrel. I've heard their a little tricky to catch.", Possumpaw meowed.

"Maybe we could try it together one day! It'll have to be after I get my climbing lesson, but I haven't seen Rushfire in a while... at this rate, I'll probably get reassigned," Flamepaw shrugged, a bit disappointed. If I get to be a warrior after I get to my 12th moon, I guess it'll be StarClan's way of making sure I'm prepared. A little extra training could never hurt.

"What's your favorite thing to do as an apprentice?" she asked with a tap of her nose on his shoulder. He can't see me smile, flick my ear, or flick my tail... I'll have to find ways to let him know I'm talking to him.

Whatever sort of reaction she had expected from the younger feline, absolute wonder and awe weren't high on the list at all. Grey eyes widened slightly as Crowpaw began to gush over her collection of trinkets, and a wider smile began to split across her muzzle.

"I-I love collecting things," she stated, unable to keep the delighted purr from her voice at the apprentice's enthusiasm. "I um, I'd love to see your collection too! I'm sure--well it's a bit tricky when you're an apprentice and can't go out alone, but there are LOTS of cool things out in the territory to nab."

No one else had really CARED about her affinity for collecting things except Cinderstar and her littermates, so to see this cat so enthused made her little collecting heart practically sing with joy. Brain whirring through possibilities, she almost jumped out of her nest as a delightful thought flitted through.

"If um... If you'd like, I could take you to my favorite collecting spots when its not so hot?" she suggested, fur practically vibrating in excitement. "Firefly Cove has the BEST spot for shells, and I can even teach you the best trees to find downy feathers in! Pebbles, leaves, and snail shells could be ANYWHERE out there, so we could go on a... on a treasure hunt!"

A treasure hunt. That was the most fantastic idea she'd ever had. Hopefully Crowpaw would be as enthused about the possibilities as she was; she was barely able to contain the anticipatory twitches of her tail as she thought of all the fascinating places she could show this younger cat.

blazekit yawned and pushed himself against ashpaw, he then curls himself up after snuggling against ashpaw hi head rubbed the leg of the apprentice while sleeping

Ashpaw leaned over the kit and sniffed his fur. He smelled the sweet scent of milk and gave him a lick to smooth his fur. Oh, well.. I think I'll be stuck here for a while. he crouched slowly, careful not to disturb Blazekit, and observed his companions chatting in the clearing.

Not again not again not again!! Fear ran through Emberkit as she ran through the forest. Again she had tried to catch a butterfly and got lost. I'm gonna run into another Clan soon! Her yellow eyes spotted Cinderstar. She skidded to a stop, hiding her face with her paws. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'll never be an apprentice!" She cried, tears staining her fur.

For the first time in moons, not by his choice, Spiderthroat was napping. Body giving up on him the moment he decided to sit down to eat. Face uncomfortably planted in the squirel he was about to munch on.

Hazelkit jumped in surprise as another kit ran over to her calling her name. "Er... hi Vinekit. Did you need something?" Usually, she would be more enthusiastic, but the other kit had startled her.

➣ Padding into the familiar clearing of ThunderClan’s camp, the multicolored feline immediately made their way over to the freshkill pile, dropping the small rabbit that they had caught out in Firefly Cove. Brightpath nodded to Foxpaw and Acornpaw, who were carrying their own catches, before seeking out Sparrowflight. Once they spotted the deputy, the slender tortie happily trotted over and dipped their head to her as a respectful greeting. “Hello, Sparrowflight.” Brightpath purred, “Here to report on my successful hunting patrol.” They couldn’t help but enunciate the word ‘successful’, feeling rather proud for their hard work.

“Foxpaw and Acornpaw did wonderfully out there.” The young warrior began, recalling what happened, “Foxpaw was the first to catch something. A mouse, and then later a vole. Acornpaw managed to catch a bird of some kind. He fumbled a little with his technique, but I really do think he could be a flawless hunter with enough practice. I’m very impressed with both of them.” The lean feline remarked genuinely, “I caught a small bunny to wrap things up and then we all headed back home. Nothing but good things to report.” Brightpath kept a constant smile as their expression, hoping Sparrowflight would be pleased with the report. The young torbie warrior hoped to go out hunting again soon, wanting to do more for ThunderClan.
