Mapleleaf entered the clearing after just meeting the two RiverClanners with Cinderstar and Copperfire. She reeked of RiverClan scent and decided it was best to clean her fur. After all, it would keep her busy and would prevent any questioning. I cannot repeat any of what they all have said about Cinderpaw. I have to stay quiet.

With a sigh, she began cleaning her flanks after not washing for many days since Robinflight's and Snowcloud's deaths. Poor Thunderblaze was keeping to himself and Mapleleaf had no idea how to comfort her mate. She never knew what it was like to lose a sibling, but she imagined it hurt just as much as losing a Clanmate. The anger and grief she felt when ThunderClan found out RiverClan was holding Cinderpaw hostage was probably just what Thunderblaze is feeling at the moment.

Going to the entrance of the warrior's den after a good cleaning session, Mapleleaf looked inside and called for her mate as gently and as soothing as she could possibly get, "Thunderblaze? Would you like to come out?"

thunderblaze moved his tail, he sighed" im coming" he says in a low sad voice, he got up and left the warrior den, his gaze glared at mapleleaf with a sad look, how could anything cheer him up his tail flicked with a curiosity on what mapleleaf wanted to do with him

Larkstorm perked up when she saw Cindersky, one of the warriors of her lost Clan. “Cindersky!” The black tabby purred, approaching Cindersky. “It’s great to see you. How’s ThunderClan? Is Dawnstar still leader of ThunderClan? And what about Mistpaw…but wait.” Larkstorm stopped herself from further questioning Cindersky about the Clan. “You asked where I’ve been, and you’re probably wondering why I left as well.”Larkstorm sat down with a sigh, carefully moving her sore leg so she didn’t irritate it. “When everything happened with Dawnstar and Nectarflame I kind of just…broke. ThunderClan wasn’t the Clan that I had been raised in my kithood, and to be honest I wasn’t sure if it really was ThunderClan anymore. So I figured I would stay away for a few days, to clear my head. I was on the edge of Clan territory when a dog attacked me. It was savage, and I think it almost clawed my leg off. I thought I was dead, but then a pair of Twolegs found me. They took me to their den, where I was forced to stay for a while before I finally managed to escape.” Larkstorm gestured to her leg. “It’s still a bit sore, even though the Twolegs took me to the Cutter. But I’m ok now. And I was hoping to come back to my Clan. I’ve been gone too long, Cindersky. So please tell me, who’s the leader of ThunderClan?”

"How are you holding up?" she whispered, noticing how downcast her mate was. Mapleleaf never saw Thunderblaze as sad as he was, and she hoped what she had planned would cheer him up. I'll let him choose between hunting and a walk at Sunkissed Creek. It's relatively peaceful there...

Vineglow walked up to Flamepaw, ready to start "Flamepaw, I'm gonna take you for a spot of training. Let's go."

"Really?" Flamepaw let out an excited purr and hopped up. It seems like multiple warriors took interest in her training ever since Rushfire randomly disappeared. I'm going to be the best warrior in ThunderClan! she declared. "Where to? What are we doing?"

She gasped, "Climbing? Battle?"

Mapleleaf sighed and moved her head to be under his, silently grieving with him. She didn't know what else she could say to comfort her mate. StarClan help him heal from this...

"I don't think many of us could understand what you're going through. I know I can't," she admitted. "But I'll help you in any way I can. Do you want to talk about it on a walk along Sunkissed Creek? It's probably really peaceful there. Quiet..."

"Alright, I won't," she beckoned Blazingkit over with a lifted paw and nodded for him to sit next to Vinekit. "Both of you will take turns, Vinekit first. Just pounce on my back and grab some of my neck fur if you need help to stay on. Blazingkit you'll come up after Vinekit. Then once you two feel comfortable, I can take you on a badger ride and Vinekit can come along- though I don't think I can carry her on my back... Vinekit, are you alright to walk beside me while Blazingkit is on me?"

Flamepaw smiled and half-sat, half-crouched so the two could pounce on her without too much difficulty, "Ready when you two are!"

Rosepaw joined her mentor and examined the situation. She'd missed out on a few of the details but she noticed the apprentice had what was very clearly a broken paw. Jeez, she'd dealth with so many broken legs. It was becoming her specialty.

"Hold on, I've got it." she said monotonously and carefully wrapped the paw to a stick, trying not to cause too much pain.

She was driven to ask Fallowkit questions on how she was able to learn that new word. Her excitement swept over her drowsiness as her kits happiness was hers. Coming to realization that her duties as a mother were lacking horribly. She didn't want Thrushfur to do all the work for her because of how much of a dormouse she was being. So she's got to push herself to be more active. And without all the exercise she felt like she would become like a fat kittypet stuffed with food.

She turned to Thrushfur realizing he was still in the nursery with them. She asked with a soft mew.

" Did you teach them these words? "

Crowkit happily clambered onto Quailfur and began to bat at her ears, though he quickly lost his balance and toppled over to her side, landing in the moss bed. His green eyes gleamed with happiness and excitement, his tiny teeth were ready to bite into a random tail.

"Mouse-brain!" he repeated his first word, giggling, then moved on to the second word he's ever learned. "Momma!"

thunderblaze lifted his chin for mapleleaf to be under his head, he then lowered it a little letting it rest on mapleleaf gently, as he tried to accept mapleleaf comfort tears began running down his face, as mapleleaf was finished speaking he flicked his tail" alright" he says knowing she is trying to cheer him up
