RiverClan Patrols

Cricketsting looked at Craneglide as the she-cat gives out patrol missions. The cream tabby was annoyed. Are Snowleap and Skystar too lazy to do anything that they hired a cat to do work for them? What even made the warrior more annoyed is that Craneglide told Cricketsting and Littlepaw that they're catching fishes, not becoming fishes as if she was being funny.

Ha ha, I'm not laughing at the joke, I'm laughing at how ridiculous our leader and deputy is.

Turning back to Littlepaw, he gave a smile. At least he gets to catch some fish with Littlepaw. He followed the apprentice to Cattail Pond.

Patrols? Yes, patrols, good, she liked patrols. But she didn't like the fact that it wasn't Snowleap sending them out. She had nothing against that warrior, but it was supposed to be Snowleap. Flamesong never liked breaking from routine, and it kinda threw her off. But a patrol was a patrol and was to be completed nonetheless. So the Toyger did what she did best: followed the orders and did her job. She padded up and listened to the names called. Bluepaw and Stringpaw was it? Two apprentices. Most others might have preferred to be on a patrol with warriors, but Flamesong felt she worked better with younger cats than older ones, and it was important that apprentices got training and experience, such as what they would get from a patrol.

Bluepaw was the first one to come up to her, and she greeted them back with a formal, short nod before looking for Stringpaw. As soon as the other apprentice arrived they could get going.

Okay she was part of patrol. She could do that. To be honest Petuniafire had been waiting to go on patrol for a while. It would get her mind off of Mouseclaw and focus on her clan. It was almost about time to see him again, but she was glad to be among her clanmates. Dipping her head she spotted Lizardfrost and padded over to her. She didn't say anything just stood there waiting for the other cat.

Breezestrike huffed. A patrol? Fine. Fine. FINE, he would go, only so he wouldn't get punished or exiled. Breezestrike padded over to the other two cats. 'Let's get going, I don't want us to be punished,' he mewed, irrated.

tigerfire entered the camp then stopping" why don't you go deposit the prey" he says to nightpaw then continuing on" creneglide! im back to report the our border is normal there is no trespassing as far as my scenting could go we found some squirrels and i had nightpaw hunt them she got one of them" he says boldly

The tabby purred as he stashed the edible pebbles outside of the camp. He battered and shook the two fish he had caught, making sure that every weird-smelling pebbles was out of the fishes’ systems. Finished checking, he buried the pebbles and plunged a stick into the forest floor to mark it.

Heading back inside the camp, he dropped the two fish on the prey pile, then padded over to Craneglide.

“A fishy thing happened at Cattail Pond,” he joked. Cricketsting went on to describe about the pebbles that the fishes were nibbling on and told about him using this as a distraction to get more fish. “Anyways, the pebbles are likely gone by now and I scared away the fish, so no need to go back,” the cream warrior ended his reported. He quickly added, "Oh, and Littlepaw did a fine job at fishing."

Littlepaw half-pranced, half-dragged her feet when coming into the clearing. She held two fish in her jaws: one perch, and the other a random one. She felt very pleased with her catch, and after Cricketsting spoke his approval about what she caught she felt happier than she had in a long time.

"Craneglide!" she purred and dropped the fishes in front of the warrior then looked up to give the report. "Cricketsting and I caught a lot of fish! I caught these two, a perch and a random one, I don't quite know what it is... and Cricketsting caught two random fish along with a perch and chub!"

The she-cat looked as if she was about to burst with how much her tail tip was twitching, "We also saw these weird-looking pebbles floating in the water, two of Cricketsting's catches have a couple in their mouths so you could take a look and see what they are."

Willowfeather padded back from her patrol, ready to tell
Craneglide what she knew. At least, what was useful.
She began speed walking to the fellow RiverClan cat,
and opened her jaws to speak.
“Craneglide!” She called, and stopped once she
was in earshot. “I have the patrol report! We- Foxpaw
and I, saw some goldenish coloured fur tufts. They
carried an odd scent, and Foxpaw says he may
have something to say for it.”
She flashed a look at her apprentice, and slowly turned
back to Craneglide.


“We suspected that there could have been a
fight, with rouges, or simply some RiverClan who
didn’t tell Skystar that they had decided to go into battle.”
She glanced at Foxpaw again, and muttered, “Or
maybe… rouges have been invading, hm?”

Flamesong's pace was quick as the lean feline made her way back to camp. Bluepaw had been a well-behaved little apprentice during her patrol, even if Stringpaw hadn't followed them. "Sno- er, Craneglide? Reporting back from the Windclan border, everything went smoothly! And Bluepaw did quite well for just being an apprentice, but sadly Stringpaw didn't show up."
