ThunderClan: Life Before 2023's Sinkhole

Sundust twitched his ear as a small commotion broke out - a warrior giving poor life advice to their apprentice, what else was new? Well, it seemed several warriors were already addressing it, so Sundust would stay out of it. Though he did spare a quick glare in Copperfire's direction. Death was not to be taken lightly, even if it wasn't someone they were close to. Besides, every cat in the clan must have known Cinderpaw by name at the very least - she had made such a stir in her time as an apprentice.

Cinderstar had moved on to her next announcement: the new ranks. Sundust slightly regretted not taking the time to spectate the event, but the medicine den was a full-time job and he had little time to spare these days. He was not suprised by any of the choices, Nectarflame least of all. He may tease Cinderstar about her choices later, but the medicine cat would not go so far as to call her biased; the grey molly had a pretty good head on her. "Moosecrash! Batblood! Bumblebreak! Birchheart! Nectarflame! Sundsadow!" He was excited to see how these cats handled their new responsibilities; he had faith that they would all do the best they could to strengthen ThunderClan.

Despite everything, Swanpaw resisted the urge respond to what the other warrior had said. She wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice. She looked down at the ground in an attempt to avoid eye contact.

She had became completely conflicted on how she was supposed to feel in the situation. Could she morn or not? On one hand, she hadn’t known them too well up until this point. On the other, Roblinflight seemed to be a well-respected warrior and Cinderpaw had only been an apprentice. Kidnapping seemed bad enough to her, but killing a cat that young out of spite felt much worse.

“Don’t say anything. Don’t argue. Everything will be fine. I shouldn’t show vulnerability.”, she futilely asssured herself in thought, repressing her worry in the process.

Ashpaw padded into the clearing followed by his mentor. That was crazy! How did I do, Darkpetal? he asked, rummaging in the freshkill pile to look for a squirrel. @Ashcloud of WindClan

firelight padded into the territory knowing she's been gone for awhile she hoped cinderstar is not mad the elder made her way then stopped and looked around" Cinderstar? i know i've been gone for awhile but i didn't mean to" she said with a raspy voice

The molly paused and looked over to Sundust, "RainySpirit just had our two kits but she could probably only nurse one or two of them, she wouldn't produce enough milk to feed six kits.." she looked at the she-kit who was now trying to grab Sundust, it was good that she was being active but Sundust was right these kits needed milk now.

"MapleLeaf said that she was willing to parent the kits when i came into camp with the four of them, but shes currently a warrior with an apprentice. So that doesnt really help us now.." she blinked at the tom "sorry, im not very helpful." if only she had got SweetSwirl back to camp in time, starclan if she hadn't agreed to take her to Firfly Cove then SweetSwirl wouldn't have left camp in the first place. She pushed that thought away, what was done was done, she needed to focus on the present. LeafNight licked the tomkits [ @Rabbiteye ] fur the wrong way, he hadn't responded to it yet but she was sure he would soon just like his sister.
