She decided that she might as well tell him what he was doing. “Alright.” the molly snapped, taking her place at his side, her eyes just slits. “But if you don't do well, my reputation iis at risk. And I hope you know that killing each other is not against the rules. If you aren't careful, you might find that several cats will try and kill you.” she said to the older cat.

It wasn't all that like her to care how another fared in testing, but she'd never been the one stuck with vouching for them. It was different this time. And she felt the need to explain what he was getting himself into before she made him come. Now, as they got deeper into the territory, it became clear that there was almost no chance of turning back now.

She'd been a member of the Syndicate for just over two moons now, just after she'd murdered her mother. She sighed. Her mother had refused to fight back, and that was the only reason she had won. It still puzzled her as to why her mother hadn't fought back, but honestly, it mattered quite little now.

“Plus, I hope the night don't bother you, as we're supposed to get up at dusk. That's when we're most alert.” she said, flicking her tail as if this stuff should be obvious. She'd spent so long trying to fit in, she'd nearly forgotten what she'd been taught. Taught about StarClan, about right and wrong.

Right and wrong. There was no longer such a thing as that. There was only kill or be killed. It was simply the way things worked around here, in the real world. The Clans were just a bunch of soft, lazy kittypets. That's all they'd ever be. She very much despised the Clans, though, Moonfang and Sapphirekit were alright she supposed.
Rogues stay up at night He mumbled ,following the young cat,I've just had a long day He gave his paw a quick lick and stretched,

Perhaps he was just unnerved by the cats in the clearing, I've seen cats do similar things in that sort of situation, though I can't say I've had one have a look of extreme terror cross their face in such a predicament, there wasn't even another cat near him. As he followed the scent trail that the other cat left behind, he pondered as to what this cats reasoning was, what was making him tick. Surely it wasn't because of me, he hadn't even taken notice to my staring so it has to be something more.
The husk of a tom was hardly effected by the cold, he was aware that it nipped at the skin beneath his relatively short pelt, but it didn't change his demeanor or even occur in his thoughts.
I suppose the best way to answer my question is to ask the very cat themselves. Having decided on his solution, Hannibal decided to quit his quiet approach and become less careful of his pawsteps, allowing them to make soft crunching noises so that the other could hear his approach so that he wouldn't freak him out. He's found that other cats are less willing to answer questions if you frighten them.

"Greetings." A particular infamous voice meowed out, the figure of Hannibal emerging casually from behind Jamie, his face a blank stony mask. "Enjoying a walk in the territory are you?" Questioned the dark tom, tilting his head with his gaze fully focused on the other, his ears attuned and ready to dissect everything that this tom had to offer.

Jamie looked genuinely startled at the voice that rang out in the dead silence, and he quickly recognized it as none other than Hannibal's. He turned around, his eyes wide, as his heart began to pound in his chest. He was at war with himself, you see.
This cat was rumored to be cannibalistic, and murderous, but he was rumored to be cannibalistic and murderous. There was little evidence that he was, and the tom didn't seem to be in a hurry to cut Jamie's throat. in fact, he seemed particularly friendly. And the more Jamie thought about it, the less worried he became.
I must've looked pretty odd, suddenly looking horrified like that. Any cat would follow to see why, I suppose. Jamie thought, in an effort to comfort his terror.
"Hello," he meowed in the most polite way possible, not wanting to show his fear too much. At Hannibal's second comment, Jamie nodded. "Yes, it's nice out here during leaf-bare. Nice and quiet and peaceful, you know?" Jamie commented.
He kept telling himself that this was just another cat, and it would be rather hypocritical for him to judge this cat based on rumors he'd heard from rather untrustworthy cats.
"It's nice to meet you," he said, the usual innocence and naive tone creeping back to his voice. "I'm Jamie," he introduced in a friendly manor, his tail curling around his paws to warm himself a tad bit.

Jamie's reaction to his approach was not one that Hannibal hadn't expected, in fact, he fully expected the cat to be startled, or in the least bit surprised or fearful. Many cats he would likely get a fearful response, and for good reason because they were alone in the territory, no one around them, with Hannibal, a tom who has been rumored to be a ruthless killer and cannibal, rumored to have eaten and killed kits before without so much as a blink of the eye. But Hannibal never broke his 'friendly' demeanor, he could be a somewhat pleasant tom after all if you could look past what he was and the danger that came with him approaching you.
He doesn't look too fear full.. That's a good thing, perhaps he doesn't believe the word that has spread around camp, I was beginning to think I might have to pick off a few of the noisier cats to keep these rumors just as rumors.
Swiveling an ear a smile formed on his lips, it wasn't a real smile, it was filled with nothing but fake emotion, a polite thing he normally did to keep other cats at ease for the most part. After a few moments of smiling, he allowed his face to return to the stony mask it usually was.
Hannibal approached and sat down in front of Jamie.
"Indeed, it is fairly peaceful out here, but some cats would argue that it's eerie and many don't like to go out because it's cold. They don't usually come out here unless they're doing their job."
Right here was a clear indication that the tom knew that the other didn't come out here for a simple walk, he didn't directly ask a question, but he was listening very carefully, to see if he would lie. Hannibal didn't particularly like cats that lied, but more often than not he let it slide considering so many cats did it and it was usually something they did out of nervousness.
That false smile of his curled onto his muzzle as the other cat introduced themselves and he bowed his head slightly. "Pleasure to meet you as well Jamie. I am Hannibal." After speaking, he would lift his head back up and look the other tom over, his tail curling over his paws, claws unsheathed, but they usually were so really it wasn't sure if the tom held any malicious intent.

Jamie studied Hannibal with a look of sheer curiosity, a look that was only made by a kit who was learning something new, or who had just met someone new. "I've heard of you," Jamie meowed, choosing his words carefully. If he'd said, "I've heard about you," that could imply that he heard the rumors, and he didn't want Hannibal to think that Jamie was the sort to listen to rumors and use them when determining who he'd "befriend" in a sense, although Jamie had no intent to befriend Hannibal, he also did not want to make an enemy of the cat. In general, he tried to be equally friendly to all cats, no matter their pasts or backstories. It was just a small perk of Jamie's.
Jamie listened intently to what the dark grey tom had to say, but couldn't deny that Hannibal's smile seemed-empty. And, unlike most cats who smiled, his eyes didn't glint in the friendly way that most did. And he couldn't help but notice the unsheathed claws of the tom.
Plenty of cats unsheathe their claws when they're not looking for a fight, Jamie assured himself. And I'm positive that his claws were unsheathed when he was eating, so it's probably a normal thing.
Jamie waited until Hannibal had finished speaking before he spoke. But he couldn't shake the feeling that the tom was hinting at something, something that Jamie couldn't quite figure out.
Jamie nodded slightly. "I guess it's a little eerie out here," he commented in agreement. "But it helps me clear my head a bit, it's not exactly easy to have-" Jamie stopped. He didn't want too many cats to find out about his-or their condition, and previous encounters had lead to bullying because he was different, something a certain personality didn't like at all. Hannibal seemed nice enough, in Jamie's opinion. he didn't want to tell the cat, for fear he'd be bullied, and he knew that Malcolm wouldn't take kindly to Hannibal if he did, cannibalistic murderer or not.

Hannibal seemed nice enough, in Jamie's opinion. he didn't want to tell the cat, for fear he'd be bullied, and he knew that Malcolm wouldn't take kindly to Hannibal if he did, cannibalistic murderer or not.
For some strange reason or another, every cat that had approached him willingly had the look of curiosity in their eyes, he felt like he new why they were curious, but it still didn't answer his question curious. Why were cats so curious about him? Was it was because he lacked empathy in compassion? Lacked emotion of any kind? Because they heard the rumors that he was a murderer and a Cannibal? He never bothered asking because he would never get a straight answer and he knew that. So Jamie's curiosity wasn't new for Hannibal, it was quite simply ignored by the tom, it held no meaning to him if this other cat was curious.
"Many have it seems. Though I can't say I've heard of you." And this was the truth, there were few cats in the DS that Hannibal didn't already know about and surprisingly enough Jamie was one of them, though that wasn't true any longer, now Hannibal knew about him, and he would keep tabs on him just like every other cat, perhaps make small-talk every now and again to find out more about this cat, eventually learn his weaknesses, his ideals, everything there was about him. So if it ever came to the point where this cat had sealed their fate, he could do so efficiently. He would know where he hangs out the most, what he liked, who he spoke to, everything that made him tick, and what his physical and mental downfalls were. That's what Hannibal did with every cat. Some cats had mistaken this as friendship from him but they were always poorly mistaken.
Nonetheless the conversation moved on to Hannibal's statement and subtle prod for information.
Already so eager to tell me it seems, this is good. The dark tom enjoyed cats that were forthcoming with information, it made his job easier.
"Not exactly easy to have..?" Hannibal's head tilted slightly, a faked look of curiosity on his face to show that he was interested in what the other cat was going to say.
While the seasoned fighter may have seem relaxed and would appear off guard in a fight, he was completely aware of what Jamie was doing and should he make a single move to inflict a wound upon him, he would be ready. Hannibal was always ready. He expected it because not every cat took kindly to him killing and eating others. Other cats have tried to kill him, tried to plan out his death, but they all failed, failed miserably because they think that he doesn't know. But Hannibal is very aware of things that go on and can make it appear that he's oblivious. Another dangerous trait of his.

Jamie laughed slightly at Hannibal's comment about not knowing him, the odd sound of rare laughter ringing like a bell in the dark silence of the forest. "Well, not many do," he admitted.
Hunters weren't exactly high up in the ranks, and this was unsurprising to hear. But Jamie had always secretly wanted to be a bit more popular, to be well known. But if that happened, he'd be more of a suspect for the string of murders that went on every so often.
Jamie looked at the ground, and shifted awkwardly. He knew that this cat would know if he was lying, he just had that sort of feel to him. After a moment of nervous shuffling, he finally responded.
"Please, just don't call me weird. Or different. Don't call me odd, or messed up." It may appear that Jamie simply was tired of being bullied, but in reality, this was a warning. Jamie hated when cats were killed, and when he wasn't in control, he would have to watch himself take the lives of innocent cats, unable to control his thoughts or emotions. It was like watching a movie, but worse.
Jamie took a deep breath, and began to explain. "There are five other cats inside me," he explained vaguely. "I have split personalities. And one of them is bad. Really, really bad. And he's coming soon, and when he does, a whole lot of cats are gonna die," he said, looking very, very serious, which was actually rather unusual for him.
Jamie looked down once more, studying the slowly wilting grass under his paws, flecked with snow. He waited patiently, hoping that this cat would listen to his warning and not call him anything bad.

Laughter was something that Hannibal had a hard time replicating, not chuckling, but actual laughter, the emotion in it was nearly impossible to mimic, the sound itself was one of pure emotion. He could mimic a chuckle, a snicker, but he could not mimic laughter. So as the small laugh escaped Jamie, Hannibal uttered a low chuckle to go along with it, it sounded genuine enough, though like nearly everything else he did it was a well-maintained act.
"Do you prefer it that way or do you wish more knew your name?" This was a question to take a small peek at the other cats personality, a seemingly harmless question, but it could hold a weakness in it and every little bit of information was valuable unless it was already known. He had a feeling he knew the rank of this cat, they were very likely either a healer or a hunter, they're the lesser well-known cats of the clan, the ones treated worse than the others. So it'd only make sense that this tom was either one or the other, and he certainly didn't have the smell of herbs on him so it would very likely mean that he was a hunter.
"I would never, the would be incredibly rude of me and it's a shame that you should experience that from other cats." Just by the simple statement he knew that this cat had gone through this sort of treatment before, though this statement.. It didn't quite seem like a quiet plea for cats to stop bullying him, there was a bit of substance there and Hannibal found it intriguing, though he wouldn't push because he was more interested in the toms continuation of what he was going to originally say, it held more meaning.
And what Jamie said next truly did prove to be interesting and very useful to keep in mind. A cat with multiple personality disorder, now that is very interesting and surely it would mean they're already fairly close to madness, it wouldn't be so hard to give them a little push.. No. There's no reason to do that, not yet, but I will most certainly keep that in mind.
The dark tom was silent for a moment, analyzing the other while he remained as still and silent and emotionless as a stone before eventually speaking up.
"Then I suggest targeting lesser known cats, their disappearances will go unnoticed, unless you're looking for attention, then I suggest targeting the guards. That is, if you target randomly without reason, if you do have reason behind your killings, a motive, then pick them off in a subtle way, do it slowly so no one will notice because cats won't take kindly to what you do. And you will very likely face serious consequences, one of which being possible death." The tom said all of this in the same tone of voice, his gaze still focused on Jamie. Hannibal was giving him tips.

And you will very likely face serious consequences, one of which being possible death." The tom said all of this in the same tone of voice, his gaze still focused on Jamie. Hannibal was giving him tips.

(ew short post sorry x.x)
Jamie sighed a bit and sheepishly nodded. "Yeah, I wish, but I can't. It won't be good if more cats know my name." He said without much explanation. It wasn't just because of Malcolm, though. It'd be very hard for a hunter to work their way up to the top, and Jamie wasn't exactly the zero-to-hero type.
Luckily for Hannibal, Jamie wasn't one for keeping secrets, and didn't hide too much. He also trusted too easily for his own good.
Jamie looked a bit surprised at Hannibal's comment, and smiled a bit. "Thanks," he said. "Malcolm doesn't like it when cats make fun of others. I didn't want him to kill you," Jamie said, happy that Hannibal disliked the rude. He just didn't know how much Hannibal hated the rude.
Jamie watched Hannibal's expression closely as he let the fact that he had multiple personality disorder. Oddly, Hannibal looked unfazed by this. And all the while, Jamie was waiting for an outburst, he was entirely shocked to hear what Hannibal had to say.
After Hannibal finished speaking, Jamie looked both shocked and horrified. "Wh-what? I'm-I'm not a killer!" He exclaimed. "I don't want to kill anyone! Never!" Jamie exclaimed.

{It's alright! :^D}

As Jamie said this, Hannibal said nothing, he simply just seemed to nod his head a bit and offer no sort of comment or questioning on it because he quite simply didn't care, he could very like piece together what the tom meant, or very close to what the tom meant.
With Jamie being so open, Hannibal was able to gather valuable information in a short amount of time which was better than taking moons upon moons to dig and build friendships in order to get information, not that the tom cared either way, Hannibal would wait for many years to gather information if he had to, it didn't matter to him because he had an infinite amount of patience.
At hearing the other cat's comment, that false smiled curled onto his lips, such an empty and meaningless gesture and yet, it could instill fear in others. Hardly ever did that smile make any cat feel welcome or happy. "Thank you for the warning." In all truth, Hannibal didn't care about the warning and he wasn't scared of Malcolm, Hannibal wasn't scared of anything, he was virtually incapable of feeling fear. And he was fairly positive that he could very easily take down this 'Malcolm' if it ever came down to it, he was still in the body of this cat before him, the only thing that would be different from Jamie would be the fact that he was in a blind rage and ready to kill. That would be the only difference. These thoughts weren't cocky, Hannibal wasn't an arrogant cat, he simply made observations and predictions.
The dark grey tom blinked slowly as he heard Jamie's response to his tips, the tip of his tail flicking lightly.
"The fact that you suggested that Malcolm would 'kill me' if I was making fun of another or bullying suggests that this other personality is extremely violent and would be considered psychopathic, considering the Syndicate, all you have to do is look around the camp and you'll find six different examples of one cat berating another, 'bullying' them as you put it. Then I can very easily guess that you are a killer, I'm no an idiot, I have watched other cats disappear and know it's not my work and I have to say, I believe I've discovered your scent around a few of the remains that I've found. So yes, while you, your current personality is not a killer, there is one inside of you and I suggest that you take quick note of the tips I give you or else you will get caught. But then again. The choice is up to you, it truly doesn't matter to me what you do. The only time it matters is when you cross my path in the wrong way."
This last sentence was practically dripping with malicious and malevolent intent and yet Hannibal's face had not an ounce of anything there, he was simply looking at Jamie, as relaxed as ever, as if he were simply talking about how the prey was running.
