"A little while ago, I caught a pretty pink and white butterfly. It's injured, but i think it'd be a pretty pet if you want." He mewed, clawing in a top left corner with a x.
"Poor thing, how'd it get injured?" She frowned, drawing a circle in the middle left box.
So the Clan was angry and judgmental when Slatestripe had gotten in trouble with his mentor. That was a little surprising considering RiverClan now. They were all frustrated with Littlepaw when she revealed they were holding ThunderClan's apprentice, Cinderpaw, hostage. A few of them were probably angry, after all, she had betrayed her Clan (in a way). She was honestly lucky Skystar never gave her a punishment. But would Snowstar? She'd have to speak to him later when she isn't busy.
"If I ever become a mentor, I would never forget to train my apprentice. Apprentices and kits are the future of the Clan, by not training them, you're... you're screwing the future of RiverClan!" Littlepaw was frustrated with the Clanmates who never trained their apprentices. How could a Clan survive if all their apprentices have no lea how to hunt, fight, or care for each other?? "I can't believe some warriors forget to train their apprentices... how can they? The apprentice ceremony means the world to kits, just as warrior ceremonies mean the world to apprentices!"
Slatestripe nodded in agreement. “You’ve certainly learned the ways of a warrior,” he observed. “Some cats see having an apprentice as a burden, or a task to take lightly.”
He rolled on his side, suddenly feeling rather bloated after all the food he ate. StarClan, he needed to remember to not do that again any time soon. “How close are you to your final assessment?” he asked. “Has your mentor mentioned anything about it yet?” He knew a final assessment was both a nerve-wracking and exciting time for an apprentice. Their future could be decided in just a moment. If they failed, there was always a chance there position in the Clan would be revoked.

Elkkit sat outside, probably just about avoiding developing a fever as he felt a bit warm and uncomfy. But what else was he supposed to do. He almost always felt uncomfy. His immune system decided to abandon him and leave an untrained intern instead. Maybe that's why he was so prickly all the time. because he was lonely.
Hearing the exhale of a denmate, Reedwhisker turned her head to see Gingerfrost, a shield. With saddened eyes, the she-cat simply twitched her ear, offering the tom a place to sit next to her while she explained what happened. With shaky, uneven breaths, Reedwhisker stifled her sobs for the moment. I have to explain what happened to the entire Clan...
"I-I'm not entirely sure. All I... all I know was that she was in the water and hit a sharp rock, which caused the injury in her neck," the warrior motioned with her nose where the wound was, her voice raspy. "And she drowned. I don't know if it was an accident or StarClan's will... I just hope she didn't have to suffer long."
Dipping her head after she finished speaking, Reedwhisker closed her eyes, wishing with all her might it was just a dream. But when she opened them back up, Lilyheart's body was still there. Only a few more tears came out of her, all Reedwhisker felt was the tiredness she felt after her silent vigil. But it was slightly different. She would no longer see Lilyheart in camp. She could no longer speak to the elder. No longer share prey with her. No longer groom each other. With no idea who her father was, Reedwhisker and her siblings had no one to confide in except their denmates. At least Gingerfrost is here...
[ Just for viewing purposes since it's been a bit ]
A slight frown formed on his brow, tail giving a faint lash as he noted Reedwhisker's explanation of what happened between their sobs. He moved his gaze to the body, indeed noting the injury - it did explain it. But how did she fall into the water? When? He had to exhale a breath through his nose and mentally shake his head as to not think about it. It was too late now anyway, but forbid there be someone pushing others into rivers and burrows. There hadn't been any additional scent to either however, so it was unlikely. Just another one of death's turns, not murders. Fluffing up his pelt as he suddenly felt a little chilly, Gingerfrost gave a respectful and condolences nod to Reedwhisker (whether she saw it or not) before stepping back as to allow room for others such as family, Fawnpaw and some others... Quite a few. He silently watched as they all moved to bury the body, but this time the warrior didn't find himself joining. He had no specific ties to Lilyheart, and felt this burial was more family oriented than anything. Another burial was a bit much anyway. So he willingly stayed back and after a brief moment, silently returned to his duties.
➣ The small black-and-white apprentice watched the local happenings in the clearing, her tail twitching back and forth behind her. A lot of things had been on her mind lately, things she didn’t really know how to process or even experiment with. So much of her time had been spent training to become a warrior, so Cloudpaw had hardly allowed herself to question anything much else about who she was. But who was she supposed to talk to? It’s not like Spiderpaw or Shadepaw were around anymore, nor any of her family. Moonfrost, Blizzardwind, even Fawnpaw… all seemed so busy. Plus, if she were to even ask any of these cats about what went on in her head, how would she even put it into words? She lifted one of her paws and gazed at it for a long time, before setting it back down and releasing an almost defeated sigh. Why was she feeling like this? What was she feeling? Nothing made sense.

Crowkit lets see if this can go anywhere
This headache was killing her. She hadn't ever had a migraine before, and the fact that she was bothered with one now was getting in the way of her thinking. Usually, the colossal kit stayed in her nest, or in a spot between the nursery and another den, out of sight and out of mind, but she needed to walk again. pacing around always seemed to make her thoughts work better. But it seemed she had been too deep in those thoughts, or too distracted by the headache to notice where she was going. It didn't usually happen, usually, she was very aware of what was going on around her, but suddenly she almost bumped into another cat. She took multiple steps back and shook her head, uncomfortable with the thought of being close to another cat. She didn't remember the cat's name, she remember very very few names, and couldn't exactly apologize to almost walking into the cat, so the dark huge cat simply blinked with her narrow, yellow eyes - the closest she would come to talking with a stranger.

➣ Being so lost in her own confusing and jumbled mind, the small RiverClan apprentice nearly didn’t notice another cat almost bump into her. But movement soon would catch the fluffy molly’s light-blue gaze and she would turn her head. Staring back at her was a kitten, a much younger clanmate who she had never spoken to before. For a second, there was absolute silence, as she wasn’t too good at sudden social interactions, but eventually the apprentice would force a friendly smile to her expression. “Oh, hello there.” Cloudpaw greeted with an awkward wave of her paw, “My name’s Cloudpaw, what’s yours?” It felt terribly awkward leaving her tongue, but the RiverClan she-cat genuinely didn’t know how to start conversations. Usually, others did that for her.
