Larkstorm padded into the clearing, hearing Sparrowflight's yowl. She slipped into an open space and pricked her ears, waiting for the new Clan leader to proceed with the meeting. This would be the first meeting Sparrowflight was leading with Larkstorm in attendance, and she was interested to see how it would go. As Larkstorm sat, she saw a kit race out of the nursery. Blazingkit, that was his name. The kit seemed to be in distress, calling out where was Cinderstar. She padded forward and laid her tail comfortingly around the kit's shoulder. "Cindersky stepped down from being leader," She reminded Blazingkit. "Sparrowflight is our new leader."

Bumblepaw continued sitting, when Crimsonstep padded over to them. Crimsonstep said to protect them at all costs, blah blah blah, usual Crimsonstep stuff blah blah blah. Bumblepaw didn't wanna deal with Crimsonstep, they were thinking about if they were going to receive a new mentor. Houndspirit hadn't trained him at all, so it would make sense if they received a new mentor. Bumblepaw padded over, speaking: "H..he..ll..oo.. Crimson..ste..pp.... H..o..ww..are..y.you"Maybe their brother or dad would come over, or Goldleaf or Oriolepaw.

Bumblepaw noticed Sparkflower walking over, it was dad.. everyone was showing up. The three legged apprentice stayed where they were, probably for the rest of the meeting. With Crimsonstep with him, they always felts are with their mother. And their family, it helped them get through their trauma. Sparkflower asked how everyone was doing, "G..g..g..g..g..g..g..g..oo..dd...d D..a..a..d" They spoke with a stutter. Hopefully they wouldn't get pranked by Chestnutpaw, or anyone else.. Hopefully... Bumblepaw hoped that they wouldn't. Goldleaf was there too, "H..h..i G..o...l..d..l..e..e..e..af" They spoke.

Blazingkit jumped, twisting his head over his small, broad shoulders. Next to him was a warrior, who proceeded to add that Sparrowflight, who Blazingkit assumed was the cat on the willow branch, is the new leader since Cinderstar -or Cindersky- stepped down. “Did I ask you?” the annoyed kit muttered, flinching his shoulder away from the she-cat’s tail. “And I don’t need your comfort!” he hissed and swung his head away from the warrior. Anger bubbling inside him already. Cinderstar was supposed to be at his apprentice ceremony as a leader! Now that she stepped down, a stupid, loud cat who woken Blazingkit from his beauty sleep will be the new leader and will likely be the one to be at the kit’s apprentice ceremony instead. That stupid Cinderstar -no, it is now Cindersky! She does not deserve such a fancy and important name like Cinderstar- likely stepped down because she could not handle her responsibilities, Blazingkit thought to himself. Pathetic.

Thrushfur could only helplessly mourn in silence. With Quailfurs response to his searching, he looked at his kits with sad slanted eyes. He never wanted to cry, if he did, want kind of brave father would be look like to his family? Seeing Crowkit at his paws made him wonder, but his ears deafened to silence. It was as if his mind was warning him, protecting him of what ever emotions were to come if he submitted.

The wails of his kits crying for their sisters disappearance with his failure, it was all blurred out. He just couldn't, he's not a rock nor a warrior experienced with hiding such aggressive sad emotions. He finally broke down with watery tears, the only time he would feel such type of sadness since the death of his own mother. With losing one of his family members, the feathery fur lay flat with flattened ears against his head.

He immediately lay his head down as if he was bowing down and apologizing with his heart. His body shook with intensity with his inner feelings being broken.

" I'm sorry for being such a horrible father to you all - I can't even find your sister and I have failed you all. She's probably dead in Starclan because of me, my failures as a father.. "

His heart and body ached as if the sadness recked around like whirling storms. His blue eyes reflected the tears like shimmering jewels, only to pour out tears in the end.

Lavenderkit had a loss for words as her eyes watered up. She ran up to her father next her brother and burried her face in her fathers fur.

"Don't be sad its not your fault" She meowed, trying to comfort her father with her muffled voice.

Weaselpaw woke from his nap in the apprentices den, when he sensed the presence of his mentor walk by into the nursery. He wouldn't want to disrupt anything that might have to do with his paws stepping into the nursery boundaries. A small flick of his tail as he slid down to a stop. Examining his clanmates, though something smelled weird and unsettling. It wasn't the smell of fish or frogs, or even the wind - heh. It smelled like a rouge.. he scorned inwardly as he carefully walked between his clanmates in order to inspect the smell. He shrugged it off as he would try to discover it later. Sitting down and positioning himself looking up to Sparrowflll....star? He blinked with bright yellow eyes at the tan she-cat. Curving his eyes in confusion.

Mottlekit hopped out of the nursery with a small strut. His ego was as bright as the sun as he felt like he was the center of attention today. His ruffled pelt was now sleek across his flank, his white paws in front of another. As if he was skipping with glee. He sat near some kits because he knew those were the greatest spots to settle in without the bodies of his other clanmates blocking his view. He looked up towards Sparrowflig- no is it star now? He snorted as he grinned knowing that his positions would be up there someday. Would his days of being a kit finally be over, and for his warrior days to come sooner. He laughed with a hum like a villian, in his own world of kit dreams.

Sparrowstar blinked once in confusion as the fluff-ball in front of her stated the loss of his parents like it was an observation of the weather before offering to leave. What in the stars...

"Well... I am very sorry to hear that," she stated, head tilting curiously as she observed this odd kit. "How old are you little one? How many full moons have you seen?"

Thunderclan had an abundance of queens... Perhaps one would be willing to take on an extra mouth to feed if she brought back this stray. She certainly wasn't going to leave them out in the woods for the nearest predator to find.

“5 moons, with a day away from being six moons!” He said brightening
