Re: The Thunderwillow
Speckledwing was overjoyed at his clanmates return, but felt a twinge of sadness over the deaths. He hadn't known them very well, but she still felt regretful that he hadn't taken the time to. Still, she looked toward the kits coming forward in hope, soon that'd be his kits!

Re: The Thunderwillow
< Bumblepaw >
Whoo, boy, whoo, whoo, boy. Was Sparrowstar loud.. Yep.. Sparrowstar was a LOUD cat. Too loud for Bumblepaw to make out the mumbling Crimsonstep was speaking, well, they didn't care what Crimsonstep was speaking. Bumblepaw paid attention to Sparrowstar and the new face that was in the crowd. Bumblepaw wanted to his, but no, no hissing right now. As Sparrowstar spoke about deaths, including Cindersky, Bumblepaw dipped their head, "D..u..ss..kkfa..ll, T.hund..er..ch..aa..s..e.r a..and.. Cinder..s..sk..y W..w..illl b..e..e m..m..i..ss..ed" They stuttered.
Bumblepaw noticed that there were lots of other cats who noticed the new cat as well, they decided not to join in as it would be unfriendly. They hissed at the Thunderwillow, not directly towards anyone. But towards the Thunderwillow and sat down. "Y...a..ay, n..n..n..new app..rr..entice..ss" Bumblepaw spoke, Bumblepaw moved to the front of the crowd, "I'm g..g..onn..a g..o" They told their family, "B..ye" They spoke, hoping that their family wouldn't follow them all around, they didn't really care for their family anyway, so why not.

Re: The Thunderwillow
++ Sharppaw = He/His/Him = ThunderClan Apprentice ++
Sharppaw smiled at his name, but that smile quickly disappeared as Sparrowstar said that three cats were in StarClan now. He bowed his head in memory of cats he never got to meet. Then he raised his head and the black tom smiled again as three kits stepped up. New apprentices! That is very good! His yellow eyes locked on the kits, smiling.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Flamepaw watched the meeting with curiosity and nostalgia, the memories of her own apprentice ceremony flooded into her mind. She was so excited, that she talked with Snowpaw and Violetpaw as well as the other new apprentices. Although Snowpaw was now nowhere to be seen, she would never forget her friend who helped her get up from a groggy morning.
------------------------------------
Crowkit stared at Sparrowstar in awe, his thoughts quickly interrupted by her speaking his name. Oh, gosh. Oh, no. It was time for his apprentice ceremony. Now was the moment he'd never forget for the rest of his life. But it was unfortunate. It seemed he'd be the only one to get his ceremony out of his siblings. Quietkit was missing, but Lavenderkit and Fallowkit? Shouldn't they be walking up with him? And where were his mother and father? Probably grieving for Quietkit... Tears came to his eyes, but he didn't let them drip onto the grass beneath him. None of his family was here to celebrate with him. To call his new name he was soon to have. Were they all just angry at him for showing Quietkit how to sneak out? Of course, that was all unintentional, but Crowkit couldn't help but think differently. His family was angry at him. And they are showing it by not coming to the meeting to celebrate his apprenticeship.
Hesitantly, the tom stepped forward, struggling to keep his eyes off the crowd in search of his family. Maybe they were in the back somewhere. No, hopefully they were in the back of the crowd. Perhaps Crowkit was just overreacting?
------------------------------------
Mapleleaf cast a glance in the apprentices-to-be direction. None of them have really stepped forward except Crowkit. Didn't Crowkit have littermates? Why was he going up there without them? It was odd, littermates were typically called up at the same time. Perhaps they were sleeping... I hope all the new apprentices get good mentors. she looked back up at Sparrowstar, wondering who all the apprentices will get as mentors.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Petalbee was saddened at the loss of their clanmates. Though she didn't know them well she hoped they found pease amongst the stars. Her whiskers twitched in anticipation at the mention of the kittypet that was to become one of them and she took a glance at the tom taking note of how nervous he seemed to be. Then looked towards the kits feeling a rush of pride that the clan was to become stronger as they grew even through the losses they'd taken.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Mudsplash's hazel hues fixed upon their leader. As Sparrowstar spoke, her scapulas gripped upon the branch below her tightly, and Mudsplash couldn't help but wonder if Sparrowstar was holding something back or was trying not to fall off. They decided to stick with the latter- for now. More questioning and accusations would only lead to more issues, and Mudsplash had had enough for today.
As Sparrowstar named off the clanmates who had come back after being named missing, Mud tried to notice more on the molly's demeanour. She had been temporarily tense, but now she seemed to return to normal. Maybe Sparrowstar had been nervous, calling a meeting and addressing every single issue in Thunderclan. Or perhaps she didn't want to end up like prior leaders, either corrupted or now residing in Starclan. Or maybe Mudsplash was thinking about things like this too hard, because unfortunately, friendlyghostz certainly loved making their characters the "ok-dont-think-about-this-but-also-think-very-deeply-on-certain-things" kind of characters. It makes everything more interesting, in their opinion.
Mudsplash forced themself to focus, blinking hard. Pay attention. Right, like that was easy. Mud could never pay attention. Their brain was always hyperactive, they could be hunting and the next thing they knew, they were wondering how bird feathers could help birds fly, and why do they fly, and why do they come in different colors, blah, blah, blah. It was kind of exhausting, but also thrilling to Mudsplash, they loved asking questions.
And now, as Sparrowstar was calling new kits and the kittypet to be named apprentices, Mud gave Crocus an apologetic smile. They felt awful for interrogating them- especially since they weren't a threat, after all. Perhaps Mudsplash could keep talking with him, except be more... social, and not so questioning. Perhaps they could finally have someone to talk to.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Brightkit
The young cat had been snoozing in her nest when the leader's call rang out over camp, and she had sleepily blinked opened her eyes, and watched a few of her denmates go outside. mmmmmmmmm.... a meeting... was it? Right, right, meetings, she liked those. A strong yawn forced her jaws apart before she wobbled her way outside as well. She blopped down a few paces outside the nursery and blinked towards Sparrowfl...er... star (cuz that cat was a leader now), as the leader talked about things. Brightkit smiled a little groggily when she heard that more of her clanmates had found their way back after being missing, but the smile was interrupted by another yawn, though this one was smaller. But more sad news came to stomp out the joy as a few passings were also mentioned.
[ For Crowkit @SpiritedWarrior ]
But on to the apprentice ceremonies! Brightkit was still too young for her own (and considering how semi-sleepy she still way, that was probably a good thing), but out of the names called up, she did recognize one of em, that one being Crowkit's. She remember talking to him a bit ago, and quickly rose to her paws and trotted over to him. "Congrats!" She mewed in maybe the loudest whisper in the history of whispers as she flashed him one of those 'you got this'-smiles.
[For Cloudyflight @jupiter]
She didn't want to stay in the way of anyone, however, so after that encouragement, she retreated back into the crowd, suddenly remembering her little tradition. Gosh! She had almost forgotten about that! She had planned to each meeting go and find a cat to sit with, someone who seemed a little bit sad or a little bit alone, and she couldn't break tradition! But as her bright green eyes scanned the camp, one pelt popped out to her, and she could feel her heart sink as she saw Cloudyflight. The formerly so kind looking warrior now seemed down, and sad. For some reason, though they didn't know each other all that well, seeing the fluffy cat sad made Brightkit sad too.
Going to Cloudyflight wouldn't break her tradition-thingy, but that was the last thing on the Bengal's mind as she set course towards Cloudyflight. Guilt still tugged at her heart at the sight of the claw marks on the warrior's side, but she tried to swallow it down and get it away as she approached. "How are ya?" Her voice had hints of mild cheerfulness but dulled down and more sympathetic, and the little smile she wore was more encouraging the warrior to smile too.

Re: The Thunderwillow
Ashpaw (he/him)
Grey tabby with blue/grey eyes
»»————- ☀︎︎ ————-««
Already someone had started causing some commotion in the clearing. What's happening? Ashpaw craned his neck in attempt to get a look above the mass of cats that was still gathering in front of the Thunderwillow. An outsider? Turning to Sparrowflight, he could sense that the presence of a new cat didn't bother their leader at all, so he assumed the stranger was here for some business. Joining Thunderclan, I guess. So that we have more warriors!
This reminded the young apprentices of his brother, Frostshade. Sometimes he could hear whispers, clanmates that talked about his origins behind their back, at the shade of their nest. Were they talking about him, too? Everyone thought that they were born kittypets, but Ashpaw couldn't remember that time. And why should it matter now?
For a moment, his breath softened at the announcement of Sparrowstar's name ceremony. Now that he looked at her, she seemed way calmer and more confident than the last time she had climbed up the Thunderwillow. But the joyous news were immediately flanked by the report of lots of clanmates returning back, and the apprentice ceremony of a few kits. Was Sparrowstar happy about her new duties? I hope she doesn't feel left at the shadow of Cindersky. I bet everyone here is glad to have her as our leader.
Ashpaw flicked his tail impatiently, waiting for the moment the entire clan could chant together the many names that were new from now on. He reminded himself to congratulate with Crowkit, Hazelkit and Crocus later. He should also pay a visit to the cats that had made their way back here, even though Ashpaw had never met any one of them.
