Spiderspark's gesture failed to register in the she-cat's mind as she continued to sob, tears streaming freely down her orange-furred cheeks to drip onto the dirt below. Even Petalbee's touch and words were lost in her grief addled state, the now familiar sense of loss all-consuming.
The only thing that finally broke through was the scent of her friend Rainhound drifting in front of her stopped up nose. Sniffing heavily, Emberpaw finally managed to open her amber eyes, glistening with tears, to look up at the warrior. The gentle, kind gesture of comfort brought about a fresh wave of incoherent sobbing from the orange she-cat as, without thinking, as if on instinct, she buried her face into Rainhound's chest fur and wailed, jaws agape as she struggled for breath in between the racking, heaving bawls that ripped from her throat. "Dewshine, Frost, Cindersky, everyone, they're all gone..." She wheezed in between gasps with what little voice she had left. Then she felt Rainhound begin to move away. "W-wait..." She mewled, reaching a paw after her friend, pleading. Please stay with me. Don't leave me alone. Not again.
While Rainhound had been a bit hesitant about approaching Emberpaw at first, due to Emberpaw's temper the last time the two had talked, it seemed that the apprentice did need her. She nodded to Houndspirit, then went mack to Emberpaw, letting her friend bury her face in Rainhound's fur again if she wanted to.
"I'm here, Emberpaw," she choked, a small tear trickling from her cheek. Maybe she wasn't the one grieving, but it hurt to see the young apprentice like this. "I won't leave again. I... I know it's hard."
Slowly, she attempted to curl her tail around Emberpaw, sad but comforting purrs rumbling deep in her throat. "It's going to be okay. It will be okay, I promise." A cracked mew, but at least it was somewhat... firm. "I'm sorry that you have to go through this." She would not leave Emberpaw's side again, not until her friend wanted her to.
Petalbee entered camp with a shrew and mouse hanging by the tails from her jaws. She dropped the prey into the pile and found a shady spot near the warriors den. Shaking out her pelt she cursed to herself quietly at her long fur. Laying on her side she wished for a breeze as no cat should have to deal with the harsh rays with no way to cool off. {Open}
Berryspot saw the molly lay in the shade. She padded over cheerfully and mewed, "Im Berryspot, but you can call me Ace! What's your name?" The tortoiseshell molly sat in front of Petalbee with a small smile.

Petalbee sat up and spoke a bit slower than normal. "I'm Petalbee but you can call me whatever you want. It's nice to meet you!" She lightly shook her head to clear the fluff from her ears as the heat had frizzed her fur some. She made sure to smile back at the cat Infront of her though making an attempt to match the positivity.
Her green eyes slowly stretched across the willow. Seeing Sparrowstar up there, her eyes narrowed. The sun was a bit bright for her, she hasn't been out of the nursery for quite a while now. It was blazing into her eyes right about now. She snapped out of it and shook her head, she let out a long sigh as she strutted away from the nursery to near her clanmates. Her eyes darting around to find her family, she found a noticeable tuft of brown fur through the cats that looked like to be a feather. Quickly scampering through to gently slid near them. Seeing Thrushfur and Lavenderkit sitting next to each other, her facial expression relaxed with glee. Crowkit was a bit farther from the rest of them, she wondered why.
She wasn't there for the full call of the meeting, only for her hearing to be stretched out to only meet the nursery boundaries. Laying her tail over her paws with a regal image. Silver striped fur could be seen in the open. She glanced towards her mate and kits with a blank expression. She did feel a bit awkward at this moment, but she knew it had to be important. Her own heart gave her that feeling. She shuffled uncomfortably amongst the cats, she even felt a bit dizzy.
He looked over to Quailfur with confusion, she almost seemed to be like an outsider amidst the crowd. He left Lavenderkit and Crowkit as he headed on over towards her side. He nudged his shoulder onto hers to alert her. Sitting right next to her as he curled his tail around her. He could sense her awkwardness and wanted to try loosening her up. Knowing that the queen has never really left the nursery at all, so it must feel a bit awkward. He sighed inwardly letting out a small mew. Knowing that their small mourning about Quietkit must've made her a bit on edge.
" Is everything alright? You don't seem to be in a good mood to be here. "
He nudged her once more, looking towards his mate with blue beady eyes. Remembering that Crowkit was becoming an apprentice, his ears perked with excitement as they wiggled a bit.
" Ah! And Crowkits becoming an apprentice. How exciting is that? Once all of our kits are apprenticed, you'll be able to go back to your warrior duties. "
He reminisced about the past before Quailfur ever became a queen, going on patrols and hunting together and such. Fun times all before she was carrying kits. He gave a small murmur with furrowed eyebrows - with deepening silence as he soon realized it was a bit too quiet. He glanced over at his kits before swiftly looking over to his apprentice Weaselpaw. Calling him over with his tail tip flicking, the striped tom seemed to have a worried expression. He heaved a sigh as he smoothly went to lick his paw, grooming it with vivid strokes.
Brittany and Carl ran into camp and grabbed a kit.
Rainhound's attention had been grabbed by two outsiders entering camp, and she growled, unsheathing her claws. "Get out," she hissed. They would reserve one verbal warning, but the next one's would be physical for sure.

Brightkit brighty trauma, brighty trauma~
It had been a few days since the rogue had attacked her and hurt Cloudyflight, but Brightkit had tried to be outside more again, not just sit in her nest all day. And she had actually found a neat little pebble, and was about to reach down and grab it when the same smell as before flooded into camp, and she could feel herself being lifted up by the scruff...

Carl snarled. Why? He smiled evilly, We just got here. And its two against one.
