Crocus spends the next several moments hunched low next to the kit he'd approached. Until Sparrowflight, who was Sparrowstar...? Now? Called him up. This group of cats was... strange. From under hooded eyes, he looks around the clearing at the others, calculating them before he moves away from Estelle's kit.

Limping up to the thunderwillow, the tom lifts a trembling head. "Y-yes...?" he asks, confused. What was goin to happen?

Cloudspots limped into the medicine den. His paw was still bleeding, albeit not concerningly so. He just hoped Sundust could fix him without too much difficulty.

Cloudspots’s ears perked at the mention of new warriors for ThunderClan. Any cat who could lend a paw to their Clan’s survival was welcome, in Cloudspots’s mind. He knew some of his Clanmates would feel otherwise, as they weren’t as friendly to outsiders as he. He just hoped they’d learn to accept them in time.

Chestnutpaw got up from his laying position as Sparrowflight... star? called a meeting. Thrill radiated off him, and his smile was as warm as the sun beaming down onto the clearing. This was his first meeting, and he was determined to be well behaved during it. Usually, he was a very goofy apprentice, but something told him meetings were quite serious. There was surely no time to mess around! His bright green gaze wandered over to Sparkflower, Crimsonstep and Bumblepaw when he caught sight of his family.

"Moooom!" he exclaimed, grinning as he bounded towards her and attempted to lock her in a warm embrace. Then he turned to look at Crimsonstep, Goldleaf and Bumblepaw. It felt like he had not talked with the two in ages, although he'd met his brother... no, sibling... yesterday. But his brother had acted... weird.

"Where's Oriolepaw?" Chestnutpaw asked with a tilt of his head, suddenly realizing that he was missing. Perhaps he'd come in a few moments!

Oriolepaw raced over to join his family, almost missing the start of the meeting. He quickly smoothed his fur down, which had ruffled in embarrassment. He may have overslept a tad during his nap, causing him to almost miss his very first Clan meeting after becoming an apprentice! His eyes shone as he gazed up at Sparrowstar. He could scarcely keep still!

Sundust could smell the scent of infection before Bumblebreak even spoke, and hurried to gather whatever marigold he could scrap up. Good StarClan, he needed to go herb gathering. Why, oh why did warriors insist on waiting until they were on death’s door before showing up? Did they want their medicine cat to die of a heart attack? Because he felt that was the direction they were heading. Still, he knew better than to let his exasperation show. Not that it would anyways. He could still be a little snarky though. ”I suppose you have an explanation for not coming in sooner?” He swore to StarClan he would implement mandatory check-ups if cats kept refusing to get their injuries checked out at a reasonable time. In the mean time, he supposed he would have to settle for burning through marigold like it was grass.

She watched him gather up the herbs wordlessly. The snark he shot her made something in her chest twist, and she set her jaw, all previous hesitation gone. "Yeah, actually," she answered, grief and something a little darker edging her tone. "I lost my best friend. Then I lost my mom again. An old rat bite didn't exactly seem at the top of my 'problems to deal with' list. Sorry, I'll keep that in mind for next time."

She could leave. She COULD. She didn't have to sit through whatever was coming next. But that RiverClan cat had beaten her into the dirt despite how loathe she was to admit it and she needed to be at full working capacity for the next time they met.

Smallvine was looking for any kits looking to sneak out, she was looking near the thorns when she felt intense pain in her paw, she looked down and saw a huge thorn had gotten into her pad, Smallvine turned towards the med den, “I’m too old for this” she groaned before limping to the medicine den

Sungaze watched the new leader, Sparrowstar ask for the soon to be new apprentices to step forward. It was also great to hear about those who had been lost to finally join the clan again, though he wondered why they had left in the first place.

As much as she believed that biggie cats knew all, these few were acting weird. One moment they were being mean to Dirty neck, even though she was certain he was harmless (I mean look at him), and the next they were yelling at eachother and then suddenly they left? A bit confused but glad they weren't being scared of her possible new friend now, Vixenkit happily waved goodbye before returning her blue gaze and bright smile to the jumpy tom next to her. See, he was nice!!
"Those were Rainy and Muddy, and uhh- That's Birdyflight!! She's taking care of us while Cindystar is on adventure"
Assuming the new cat somehow didn't know, which seemed baffling to her, she decided to introduce them all with an excited paw pointing at each cat. Her ears perked when Sparrowstar (or Birdyflight) began her announcement, happily listening to the cats who returned from adventure, went on adventure and those who would become apprentices! Woo!! From the corner of her eye she noticed her new friend reacting to one of the names - likely 'Crocus', what a funny word! She held back a giggle as she looked up to the tom with curious eyes to see if that really was his name. And oh! He left! So it has to be!! She knew the other two were her denmates after all.
"Yay Crocus!!"
Vixenkit chirped after the newcomer. He was sooo lucky to already be becoming an apprentice!! She still had to wait for Turtykit and everything, silly couldn't miss her ceremony after all.
