"I can't wait for our time to become apprentices like Crwokit. I'm sure he can teach us some of what he learns before our ceremony arrives."

While that she was looking for Crowkit to congratulate him after everything was over, since he hadn't been able to go before because he was sleeping in the nursery.

"me too! When we are apprentices and with the help on CrowKit we'll be all caught up with the other apprentices and we might even be ahead!" She meowed enthusiastically

The tom walked into the clearing. The outsiders had become a major problem - two attacks on their camp in such a short time were bad, really bad. If rogues were regularly sneaking into their camp, then what was that saying about ThunderClan's defenses?

"I'm sending out patrols. Everyone, listen up!" Copperfire called. "I want everyone to be vigilant. Keep an eye out for outsiders, they're all to be chased off unless there is a very good reason for them to be on our territory." He ground his teeth, forcing himself from pacing. "Any cats that don't show up or are late will be punished." He could feel the tension in his body. Copperfire felt as if he was partly at fault for the rogues getting into their camp and endangering their kits. Was he doing alright as a deputy?

SMALLPINES [RIVERCLAN BORDER]

"Breezewind! I want you to patrol at the Smallpines. Take Spiderspark and Berryspot with you," He called the first patrol. No apprentices, since he wanted everyone to be fully focused on their task and not the safety of a young cat.

THUNDERGLADE PATROL [WINDCLAN BORDER]
(optional prompt: There's rustling above you. As you look to the trees you see eggs being pushed out of a nest. Seems like a cuckoo has hatched.)
After some slight hesitation, he decided to go on patrol himself. In a time like this, he wasn't sure if the patrols were being as thorough as he'd like them to be. "Tawnywhisper and Dandelionpaw, you'll be coming with me to the Thunderglade."

HERONDIVE HOLLOW [SHADOWCLAN BORDER]
(optional prompt: On ShadowClan's side of the border you can see a dead bird. If you are to check it closer, you can find it has attempted to swallow something orange. It's of twoleg origin and smells burnt.)

"Echosong! Go to the Herondive Hollow with Thunderblaze and Wildspark." Last border patrol had been assigned, following the same thought process as the first patrol.

The inner territory should be safer than the borders. Or at least that's what Copperfire hoped. He also hoped that the warriors would be able to handle the assigned apprentices.

MUSKRAT MIRE HUNTING PARTY

"Russetflare, take Flamepaw and Hollypaw to the Muskrat Mire, be careful of muskrats," The deputy called, deciding to trust the warrior to be responsible enough.

FIREFLY COVE HUNTING PARTY

"Leafheart, I want you to take Bluepaw and Acornpaw to the Firefly Cove." Copperfire assigned the last patrol of the day and took a deep breath. Once again, he trusts the warrior to be able to take care of the apprentices on her own.

Copperfire waited for his group to gather. As he waited, he watched the other patrols to make sure everything was going fine.

Thunderblaze perked quickly hearing he is on shadowclan border patrol he nodded and looked for wildspark and echosong

Dandelionpaw's heart pounded as she suddenly heard her name called to go on patrol alongside Tawnywhisper and none other than Copperfire himself. Strangely, going on patrol with the deputy made it that much more exciting and nerve-wracking. Not to mention that this was the first patrol she went on since returning... Heck, the first patrol she went on since that first and only hunting patrol with Marigoldfire. Obediently however, she quickly hobbled up next to Copperfire, giving him a soft nod as she sat and waited for Tawnywhisper so they could go. Oh she very much hoped this patrol would go fine; it may as well be the last one before her hopeful assessment. She didn't want to leave a bad impression.

stormpaw went over to firelight and sat down he looked through the fur for any ticks he grabbed a ticked and put in on the mousebile wasn't to bad he deserved the punishment but he would be loyal and do the punishment as told,

firelight yawned then coughing she sighed

" are you ok" he asked

firelight nodded" yes im ok im getting older so im now getting the cough issues when i do something deep" she replied
