The large Maine Coon squeezed his way through the entrance to the leader's den, pressing himself against the wall to make as much room as possible for Sparrowstar. He regretfully filled up a decent portion of the den with his large frame. Feeling a little claustrophobic, he coughed.
"You wanted to see me, Sparrowstar?"

icepelt looked at her sister, she was different now, still the same energetic cat she knew, but something felt strange...

Dandelionpaw had chanted the names alongside everyone else. She was happy for them... Maybe one day she would be up there again too, to get her name. She very much hoped so... Listening to further news, she felt a little sad about the missing kits, and especially worried because of the rogue issue. She would have to pay careful attention from now on... As the meeting got dismissed, she shyly left to the apprentice den to consider what training she should do next.

Oh! She was right!! Her new friend's name was Crocus -- Crocuspaw now. Vixenkit smiled brightly, very loudly shouting each new apprentice's name, especially Crocypaw's name the loudest. She liked him! He was nice!! When the chanting died down and annoucements continued, she happily plopped down and wobbled back and forth on her hind paws. Ehehe, she was almost blissfully unaware of the grim news, distracted by watching her clanmates, until she heard her former denmate's names. Oh! She knew them!! But looking around now, everyone suddenly seemed so much more grim, so much more sad. Even Birdystar! Curiously the spotted kitten watched on, not quite certain what to make of this. She just assumed they were on adventure as well. Mulling over this strange mood, Vixenkit finally got up and thoughtfully returned to the nursery, where she hoped to find some answers.

Ashpaw dipped his head to Bumbleflight, grateful for the chance to train with another apprentice even if he was younger than him. "I would really like to do that. If Rainpaw feels comfortable trying, of course." He threw the newly appointed apprentice a sympathetic look, but soon enough Sparrowstar continued with more announcements.

Three cats had gone missing, and one of that was Nectarflame. Poor her, Ashpaw thought that after Cinderksky's death she had lost every hope and even the role of Keeper didn't help her going on. As soon as their leader reported the last ominous event when a rogue had dared entering in their camp and kidnapping a kit. A growl rumbled deep in his throat, and he couldn't stop himself from commenting in low voice, more to himself than to the cats around him: "The worst thing is that she managed to flee... We should've stopped her."

Ashpaw was determined to get a turn into guarding the camp, day or night, whatever Batblood would choose. Wait, why do we follow him? Shouldn't Copperfire organize the turns? Oh, he's a Keeper. Right. He wondered if Flamepaw would be interested in helping, but he could already guess the answer. She'd been very involved with the rogue problem, and maybe she'd even already asked Sparrowstar to do the job. Yes, I shall speak with Batblood. As soon as the meeting was dismissed, he got up and stretched his legs before looking around for the dark bengal tom.
