Mildly surprised, the large brown tabby gave the white patch on his chest a nervous lick. He was being entrusted with the final assessment of an apprentice? This was an unexpected surprise! And quite the honor. Of course, this was the first step as a Keeper of Thunderclan to truly assisting and protecting his friends! Who would have thought that a loner, born of kittypets, would come so far?
A determined sparkle filling his hazel eyes, Moosecrash gave a smile and a dip of his head.
"Of course, Sparrowstar. I would be honored. I have no questions or concerns. I can get started immediately, if you like," he purred, satisfaction at being given such an important task filling his baritone voice.

Acornpaw struggled through the crowd, muttering pleasantries and apologies as he made his way to his new mentor. After since Jaggedfrost had disappeared, he had struggled with getting training in, and was a bit behind. He hoped Leafnight could help with that. Acornpaw looked up at the cat, smiling nervously. "Um, hello." @Apollo.

The bobtail rustled in the bushes, slowly poking their head out to survey the clearing. A spark of mischief in their eyes, the restlessness that sparked through their small body. Asterdance couldn't step out onto the territory to frolic through the fields without feeling the sky would crash down upon them. It was fine, because today was.. fine. They had gotten sleep and hadn't gotten a headache, yet which meant? Oh, they had SO. MUCH. ENERGY.

Their clanmates could deal with it. It was fine. Someone needed to add flavor around here.

Asterdance grinned, watching a certain tail with interest. It was a rather nice tail, a familiar one but not exactly a tail they've ever paid attention to. They didn't have a tail, of course, as it was a weakness. They were not weak. Slowly, they crouched, their rump beginning to wiggle in the bush - the leaves making a quiet sound. A small giggle escaped from Asterdance and ah! There they went!

The warrior pounced forward, launching themself at Bumblebreak's tail with a playful roar.

Unlike somebody else, Bumblebreak DID have a headache. And it sucked, it really did, but she did not feel like bothering Sundust or Rosepaw for something so trivial. So she was letting it fester, sitting in the shade and squinting her eyes against the sun. It was quiet for the most part, but quiet was good. Quiet let her think. Many of the thoughts weren't happy ones, but they kind of just came and went, and the headache aided in shooing some of them away.

Her tail flicked back and forth behind her as she fiddled absently with the pebble between her forepaws. She thought she heard the bushes behind her rustle, and she perked her ears, claws sliding out and tail stilling, just in case she needed to take quick action.

There was a giggle, then the bushes shuddered loudly, and suddenly something latched onto her tail with a what she only percieved as a threatening snarl.

Her heart already in her ears, Bumblebreak spun around to face her attacker, forepaw raised and ready to deliver a heavy blow, teeth bared and ears pinned. Her eyes fell to Asterdance and she faltered immediately. Oh, boy. She'd been expecting an intruder, not one of her Clanmates and least of all Asterdance.

A relieved but still very irritated scowl replaced her snarl and she shook her head disapprovingly. "Asshole move, man."

Goldleaf frowned as they sat back down to listen to the annoucements. Rouges, losing clanmates. It made them a bit sad although they were still a bit annoyed at having to have an apprentice. That's what /other/ warriors wanted. They wanted to hunt, fight, sleep in the sun, then retire to an elder some day! Not train a whole cat. They hissed slightly as Sparrowstar called over another cat to her den. Looks like they would have to wait.

Cats were going to have to be reassigned. The tom flicked his tail before deciding on who to call. "Stormwind and Dawnpaw I want you to replace Leafheart and Bluepaw."

"Stagbound will be replacing Echosong as patrol leader," Copperfire called, hoping that the replacements would show up. He needed to go on patrol himself, it wouldn't be good to delay that further, but it's not like he can guess whether or not the cats he assigns can actually show up.

Stagbound was stunned. He was leading a patrol?That was a first. He waited by the entrance for his Patrol to assemble.

Willowpaw (She/Her/They)

Willowpaw squeaked and froze on the spot. She would've been okay with just the warrior but an apprentice as well? She really didn't do well with cats her age or younger, they just straight up freaked her out, but this was a patrol and she had to do it, she just need to not be so anxious.Easier said than done.
