Kane held Ciara's shoulder. Ciara herself couldn't hide her tears. She finally looked up from her hands. Calico was so much bigger than she thought. Jake was hiding behind the animatronics' leg, holding onto it. "I-I-I'm sorry..." Ciara sobbed. "What?" Calico asked. Kane spoke up for Ciara. "When Ciara revealed Jake's power to the school, she blew her own cover. Now everyone knows about Jake's power, and the fact that Ciara and her sister, Selena, are being trained by their own father to become the world's first assassins in centuries." Ciara wiped her face and met Calico's yellow eyes. "I realize my mistake and I want to pay you back." She pulled a box out from her bag and hands it to Calico. The cat animatronic examined it. "What's in it?" She asked. "It's for Jake. I am really, really sorry, Jake. I didn't know how much pressure I put on not only you, but on myself. Now I have no choice but to run away." Her words caught Calico's attention. "Run away!?" Calico hissed.

Ciara shook Jake's hand. "Ciara? We better get going before someone spots us." Kane urged. Ciara nodded. "Got to go," she and Kane were soon running off into the town.

Calico nodded. "Yes. We-" *knock* *knock* "It's me, Esther," said a female voice from behind the door. "Jake, should we trust her? What if she's lying and a cop or something!?" Calico held Jake back with her right claws.

Esther was holding her plush toy, Mr. Hopp in her arms. "I heard abouyt what happened," she explained, walking into the house. "I want to help. I can't go with you, but I can give you something." She handed Jake a book. "It's an old spell book I found in a graveyard three days ago. You should have it. I can keep your cover for you two to escape. There is a warehouse near here that you guys can wait out the day and then run at night. And it might be for the better. Some kind of virus has started in a hospital, and it's affecting dying people. You should go. Now!" Esther shouted.

Esther gasped when Jake grabbed her hand. "Jake, what are-" Calico started but stopped when they were at a huge mansion. Esther felt faint. "Oh... my... gosh..." She breathed. "Wait a minute..." She realized something. Is Jake the son of Flame Ulance?
