Kane realized that he was blushing and covered his face with his hands. "No one," he hissed. He felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up. Ciara was in front of him, on the step below him. "I can see your feelings for Poppy. It's the same as my feelings for Jake. You should tell her sometime." Kane nodded. He would have to come clean soon. He went to the couch with Ciara and sat down at the far right, turning on the TV.

Poppy giggled a little at Kane's response. "I'm going to make chicken and dumplings if that's ok!" Poppy says

Poppy started cooking, humming a song as she worked. After she was done she made plates and called "Dinners ready!"

Esther walked out of the basement. Ciara and Kane were already at the table. Moon flew up from the basement as well. Ciara set Alyssa down on the table as there was no highchair for her. Esther sat next to Poppy and Moon sat next to Esther. Ciara was sitting between Kane and Alyssa.
