She smiled gently, so that was what the leader had meant, an apprentice. Like training. She thought

"What a pretty name," She meowed "I knew a cat named Milky once, oh, and my name? HollowMist" She mewed politely

She looked toward her kits and made sure they were all there. Then HollowMist saw LavenderKit. She gently lifted the kitten by his scruff and placed him with his siblings by her side. She double-checked that all six of her kits were there, counting each and everyone by their colorful pelts. The ones with black and white pelts all blended in with each other while the other 3 (?) were popping out like a cat among hedgehogs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, She counted in her head. She felt a little nip on her tail, she winces softly to see Beetlekit had nipped her tail.

She chuckled, and gently nuzzled Beetlekit. "Little rascal" She chuckled to herself.

Snowypaw

Listless, unfocused eyes stared blankly at the camp entrance, the apprentice's large body limp as his head lay on the dirt between his paws. He had cleaned his fur up nicely before heading out of the apprentice's den, hoping to catch his mentor on the way out for some training but... he seemed to have missed her. Again. Had the molly been avoiding him? Had he done something wrong? Maybe his training wasn't progressing the way she had wanted it to. He did try his best, but unfortunately for him, size alone did not make for a good apprentice, and he knew he was surely lacking. A small whimper escaped Snowypaw at this thought, hating the idea of having disappointed Deadmoon to the point of avoidance.

Regaining some resemblance of focus, his dull, lifeless eyes turned skyward. Noting the slight graying of the sky, he assumed some rain would fall later during the day. Maybe this was why Deadmoon had left early? He was simply later than she dared wait for a bit of hunting due to the weather? Not even this thought did much to assuage his current train of thought, however, as it simply made him a tardy apprentice. As far as he was concerned, him being tardy was just another reason to further fail his mentor.

Gaze shifting back to the entrance, he wondered if maybe going out for a hunt himself would please the pale furred molly, but quickly dismissed that thought. Large as he had been growing in his two moons of apprenticeship, he was still an apprentice none the less. Apprentices were not allowed alone outside. He wondered if maybe two apprentices together would be valid for a hunting party, as technically they wouldn't be out alone, but quickly got rid of that thought as well. The closest Snowypaw had gotten to a friend since he had left the nursery was Specklepaw, and after the Gathering and how rude he had been to her, he doubted the spotted apprentice wanted to so much as look at him, let alone hunt with him.

A defeated sigh escaped the gentle giant as he forced himself up. True, he would be stuck inside the camp again, but maybe he could help with some of the busy work. He had at least gotten somewhat efficient at that.

Snowypaw

Narrow eyes getting used to the light outside the apprentice's den, Snowypaw's head poked out from inside, having heard the WindClan leader's call to a meeting. Blinking bleary sleepiness as one massive paw swiped across his face in an attempt to properly wake up, the large tom shook himself before stepping outside. Broad head swiveled on fluffy shoulders as the white patched apprentice looked around for his mentor, disappointment flickering across his gaze momentarily as he noticed he couldn't see her anywhere. Maybe it was for the best. After all, last time he had tried to approach her in a meeting he had instead annoyed Treewing by accident. No. It would be better if he just stayed put at the edge of the crowd.

A small part of him thought that maybe he could look for Specklepaw instead, but after how horrendously uncomfortable he had obviously made his fellow apprentice feel at the Gathering, the gentle giant shuddered at the idea of making her feel so poorly again. And in her own home, at that! Realizing that these were the only two cats in all of WindClan who would have probably at one point welcomed his approach, the apprentice's ears drooped in defeat. Resigning himself to his fate, Snowypaw padded well out of the way of the gathering cats. Finding a lonesome corner close to the entrance were he could look up at Breezerock he sat, feathery tail curled around massive paws as he waited to hear what the leader had to say.

Mushroomblossom noticed Cowpaw coming over, the large light-brown speckled toms ear flicking in one direction as to listen. As the young apprentice pushed some borage over to them, Mushroomblossom quickly nodded “Okay! We can do it, can't we Fawnpaw?”
But oh, Fawnpaw wasn't there. Oh well, they can be patient. @Wintersun.

The bright she-cat bounded up to who she was assuming was Mushroomblossom. "Hi!I'm Fawnpaw!" She spoke from behind him.
