As the large tom got up to attend whatever needed doing, he felt a small bump on his tail that made him turn around in confusion. A brow quirking upwards as Snowypaw glanced around, his feathery tail gave a slight twitch at the touch. Bright blue eyes landed on the culprit, and he was met with the sight of a young kit squeaking and shuffling to his paws, apologizing for... stepping on him?
Oh.
Unable to help himself, a small purr of amusement escaped the apprentice. Snowypaw was unsure if it was all the tumbles and clumsy hits he had taken as a kit - and during most of his apprenticeship if he were being honest - but for the most part, the gentle giant was fairly impervious to pain in most cases. Having his tail stepped on being one such scenario. He had stepped on it much worse... on multiple instances... at the same time while trying to get up. If anything, he had mostly felt the kit's stumble.
Tilting his head lightly to the side, Snowypaw gave the young WindClanner a lookover. He wanted to make sure that the kit wasn't hurt, after all. Wondering how the kit had tripped on him to begin with - he was a rather large mass to miss - Snowypaw swiveled his broad head around, giving the area an appraising look. Noticing he had been very inconveniently laying down smack dab in the middle of the clearing while staring out at the camp entrance, a small gulp escaped him, realizing he should be the one to apologize to his young companion instead. Turning his head back to look at the kit, the apprentice flashed a small, apologetic smile in return, closing his eyes as he shook his head softly.
"It was m-my fault. I should not have been in the way. I'm sorry," Snowypaw whispered back earnestly, his ears twitching slightly in embarrassment. Dipping his head in his usual, respectful nod, he turned his attention back on the kit, giving him a silent query as to his current state, still unsure the kit had not gotten hurt over his ill conceived placement while selfishly basking in what he could only call self pity. How could he, when there was a clan to serve? Surely being relegated to small camp shores was no reason to complain! After all, someone had to take care of those who needed the help. No matter. Nothing he could do about it now except make sure he hadn't caused any damage, and fix any that he had.
Upon burying his prey, Beetlepaw opened his mouth to taste the air again. His kill had been quick and quiet, so he was sure there would be more prey around. His glands confirmed this, but the prey scent was muddled with fear scent that hung on the air. Have I been discovered? Beetlepaw had been careful not to do anything that would discourage other potential food sources.
The toms long neck turned on his thin shoulders so that he was looking behind himself away from the stream. He caught a glimpse of a small rabbit disappearing beneath the lithe form of Specklepaw, whose patterned Bengal pelt stood out under the surprisingly hot dusk sun, which was attempting to dip below the horizon now. He had been so pleased with himself that he hadn't noticed her arrival even though he was downwind. Specklepaw was now looking his way, seemingly expectantly with a rather plump rabbit in hand. "Good catch." He mewed quietly not trying to disturb any nearby meals.
"You must thank StarClan often for your speed, I don't know if I would have been able to get in front of it like that. It makes my vole look like a snack." Beetlepaw spoke modestly but truthfully. However slender he may be, speed was not a tactic he typically relied on. It seems like Silverpelt has blessed my clan with many fine hunters.

Peachfrost felt surprise wash over her resting form as Fallownose called her to join Silvermoon and Ravenscar on a patrol. It felt as if she had been useless for moons now, really ever since she returned to Windclan after being captured. Recently she felt as if all she could do was sleep... would she be any use to her patrol mates?
She couldn't deny the slight wince at the mention of the Riverclan border. The last time she had been there had been a last ditch effort to see Snakeheart again; which resulted in nothing but heartbreak for the large she-cat. Whatever. I just need to hurry up and get this patrol over with. Where even are my patrolmates anyways? Was she really the first to arrive?
Looking around impatiently, Peachfrost awaited Silvermoon and Ravenscar's arrival.
That's okay! We're going to have to get these in lickety quick though if we're going to make the deadline.

Ravenscar walks over to Peachfrost.
Skippaw padded up to him, carrying a catch they'd made on the way, a mouse, "Looks like we've all got one catch to go", they meowed quietly, burying it, "Or, of course we could bring in more to impress Fallownose." They weren't here for conversation like usual though, they just wanted to get back to hunting. Hunting was the only thing that made them stop worrying. Rotating their ears, they heard a scurrying to the left of them, a little ways away. "S'cuse me", they whispered, "I hear something". Skippaw got into the hunting stance and slowly padded towards the noise, tail swaying slightly, just above the ground. They slowly peered through the tall grass, at a small thrush.
This particular thrush was pecking at a small fruit, Skippaw couldn't guess where it came from or what it was, but they didn't care. Creeping along for what felt like forever, they finally got close enough. But, the thrush must've heard something, and started to fly. Luckily, it didn't get two feet off the ground before the small cat leapt up and grabbed it in their claws. Taking a second to recover, they padded back to the group, proudly.

Doekit ducked her head in embarrassment as her mother corrected her. "Sorry, Mama." She mewed. The little fawn tabby brightened at the mention of picking flowers. She dashed off to pick two, one for her grandmother and one for her grandfather. There were soo many to choose from.
There were pink ones and purple ones, her head spun with the ideas. She shook her head before gently picking a pink one and an orange one. She padded back to her mother and siblings, flowers dangling from her maw. "I'm ready!" She chirped.

His sisters' flowers were pretty, but the two he had picked up were his favorite.
Milkkit did his best to hold gently the delicate flowers in his mouth, careful not to pierce any petal with his tiny, sharp teeth or lick something away. The strong scent of the yellow flower filled his nostrils and tickled him. "Etch...." quickly, he crouched down and put his paws on his nose to prevent a disaster.
He slowly rose up again, still a bit dizzy, and stared at Fireflymeadow as nothing had happened. "I'm ready, too." he replied after Doekit with a quick nod.

Milkkit sighed in disappointment when Fireflymeadow said that their spirits wouldn't be there to welcome them. "Well, I guess it's like this for everyone..." he murmured. How silly of me.
He threw a surprised glance at Leafkit when she spoke. He didn't know she had collected many bugs from their last hide-and-find game. Where did she even put them? Didn't they become crow-food like their prey?
Milkkit didn't have time to reply, as he noticed with a slight shudder the spiky tortoiseshell pelt of Fireflymeadow. Was she scared? He stared at her questioningly, but soon enough the queen started speaking again and her voice sounded calm as usual.
"Yes!" he replied cheerfully and trotted to a bunch of flowers he had already laid his eyes on. He would have to pick one flower for Coyotefang, and one for Honeydrop. What weird names they had. What is even a coyote? he thought while scanning carefully each of the colorful plants.
He chose a delicate, yellow stem with many tiny flowers that scented very sweet and turned to Fireflymeadow. "Mom! I've found Honeydrop's flower, look. It's sweet, almost like honey." Milkkit had never tasted honey, but he had managed to smell it from the medicine cat's den sometimes. What color should I pick for Coyotefang? Mhh... After a few moments, he decided to bite off the stalk of a bigger flower with blue petals. I don't know what he looked like, but I bet he was very strong. Blue is the right color for him!

~ Leafkit had a small disappointed and sad look finding out about how they wouldn't be able to meet their grandparents. All the disappoint and sadness disappeared when the mentions of getting them flowers reached the clumsy kits ears. Leafkit looked up at Fireflymeadow with happy eyes. The kit then ran off in search for the best flowers she could find. Leafkit tried not to get distracted by ignoring a fluttering butterfly near her. The kit needed to find the flowers for her grandparents. Soon enough Leafkit eyes caught sight of a pretty purple one now you'd think she would give this one to her grandma but nope! It was meant for her grandpa Coyotefang. Leafkit then started to look for one for Honeypelt
"A yellow one maybe? No. Hmm.. Oh!! What about this pink one!! No.."
Leafkit muttered to herself taking a look at every flower before seeing a pretty white one with a yellow middle. That was the perfect one for her grandmother. ~

“There is no need to apologize Doekit.” The Shecat looked at their children,a faint tear in her eye. The demigirl softly looked through the flower the three had collected. All of them so carefully picked, each one chosen for a reason. FireFlyMeadow smiled at the triplets. She picked their own flowers, One of which was a golden color and the other Two were a soft lilac and red. “Let’s Go If You All Are Ready. I’ll lead the way.” FireFlyMeadow took a deep breath, the warm scent of the air filling their lungs,a feeling of comfort came along with it. The warrior flicked their tail to signal the older kits to follow after.
The journey to Juniper Rest wasn’t a long one,Although this time it felt like so,it was like dread that filled them as they stepped through the bushes that guarded the resting place of Windclans Fallen. “Don’t Misbehave,Please. This is a sacred place of generations of your ancestors. Just act with respect towards the fallen. They served Windclan and deserve at least that.” Then the warrior faintly stepped further and completely into the graveyard
