Doepaw watched her brother leave camp with his mentor and sat down somewhere, feeling a little sad. Her father hadn't congratulated her and her siblings. Had they done something wrong? Mama would know, once she was feeling better.

And just like that, the peaceful outing between mother and daughter was upsetted by one of their Clanmates approaching. Aspenstrike turned her head to fix a cool yellow stare on Deertrot. She had been treated like that back in thunderclan during her leadership, and now her daughter was being treated the same. And why? Because she was a child. She was being a child and saying stupid, childish things. "I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met personally. In case you didn't clearly see, this is my very young daughter. She is not even 2 moons, and as very young kittens do, say very silly, egotistical things."

She was quite baffled by this cat's angry response to her daughter's silly words. The fall Abyssinian intercepted the glare sent to her child. "I suppose that she got the ThunderClan name ideas from me and her mama." She said softly, in a crude attempt at a joke.

Meanwhile, Squirrelkit is glaring at Deertrot, with a scowl on her youthful ginger gold face.

Deertrot simply huffed “Keep it down then, some of us would like to not hear your daughter going on and on about how she is so cool because she isn't.” This cat thought she all high and mighty? ~ Leafpaw eyes showed all the excitement that she was experiencing. The brand new paw looked around for her mentor, Pouncestone was it? Soon enough the fawn tabby eyes caught onto the tom and quickly bounded over to him with a smile. Leafpaw lifted her head to touch noses with her new mentor. This was the start of her path to becoming a warrior and hopefully a tunneler. Leafpaw watched as Milkpaw left the camp with his mentor. Leafpaw looked slightly confused because Twilightstar didnt say the meeting was over. The fawn tabby before looking over at her father and mother, Leafpaw didnt know why Ashclaw didn't cheer for her or her siblings. Leafpaw then looked back at Pouncestone with one more smile before going to go sit with her sister, she did look a bit sad. ~

~ Sunpaw watched as each apprentice was assigned a mentor, The golden she-cat didnt seem to care whoever she got as a mentor, as long as they were too hyper. Sunpaw was then assigned Rookscreech and the she-cat looked over at her new mentor. The golden tabby gave the other a small nod before leaning her head up to touch noses with Rookscreech. Sunpaw then looked over at Firepaw and Moonpaw, They seemed happy with their mentors. Hopefully they could all train together.. That would be nice. Sunpaw then noticed Firepaw talking, Sunpaw gave her sister a small smile, a genuine one, before nodding.

"We really are and we'll be warriors too."

Sunpaw wanted to look up at the sky, was her mother watching? 'Are you proud, Mom?' was all the she-cat wanted to ask. ~

Post Two/Five

The tabby murmured to themselves, kneading their paws into their nest and staring at the soft material. They puffed out their fur, shaking themselves off and then looking around the nursery. Did they want to play? Oh, yeah! Yeah, they did! They stood up and smiled as they looked around for someone to play with.

Skippaw padded up to him, carrying a catch they'd made on the way, a mouse, "Looks like we've all got one catch to go", they meowed quietly, burying it, "Or, of course we could bring in more to impress Fallownose." They weren't here for conversation like usual though, they just wanted to get back to hunting. Hunting was the only thing that made them stop worrying. Rotating their ears, they heard a scurrying to the left of them, a little ways away. "S'cuse me", they whispered, "I hear something". Skippaw got into the hunting stance and slowly padded towards the noise, tail swaying slightly, just above the ground. They slowly peered through the tall grass, at a small thrush.

This particular thrush was pecking at a small fruit, Skippaw couldn't guess where it came from or what it was, but they didn't care. Creeping along for what felt like forever, they finally got close enough. But, the thrush must've heard something, and started to fly. Luckily, it didn't get two feet off the ground before the small cat leapt up and grabbed it in their claws. Taking a second to recover, they padded back to the group, proudly.

As Beetlepaw waited for Speckalpaw to answer he heard Skippaw interject. "Looks like we've all got one catch to go." He was about to acknowledge them when Skippaw suddenly brought himself into a hunting stance. His stealthy approach was not seen by an unwary thrush searching among some nearby growth. By the time it began to take to the air it was already to late. Beetlepaw would have congratulated him but a splashing noise from the nearby stream startled him.

As he turned to investigate, a silver fish head was poking just out of the water. His body reacted immediately as his forepaws scooped the floundering creature out of the water and flung it on shore. "It's just raining prey! I feel like a real RiverClan cat now!!!" He was so excited he forgot to keep his voice low. He had never caught a fish before! His tail was high as he delivered the blow that ended the fish. He moved quickly to grab his buried vole, as there was almost no sunlight left. He flicked his tail in farewell to the others racing off to camp.

Beetlepaw padded up to the freshkill pile proudly, dropping his vole, and FISH! He still couldn't believe he had caught one. He padded off confidently to tell Fallownose, happy to end his punishment in such a spectacular way. @NinjaBloss
