Kane kept shaking Poppy till she woke up. She hugged him a lot before letting go and grabbing a blanket, asking what had happened. "You were twitching and shaking in your sleep! Like Ciara when our enemy enters her dreams! And you were so cold I thought were dead! What nightmare were having?" The ring on his right ring finger shinned. The Kane in the dream didn't have the ring.

Poppy noticed the ring. "Oh...ummmmm..." Poppy said and sighed. "A year ago I was the head of the Magic Council...I was banished for using my magic to protect some assassins...I was banished I've been hiding ever since...I started to practice magic that was considered 'Illegal'...." She paused "If one is found using that magic the punishment is....death... and in my dream that's one of the things that happened but when the knife was about to hit me..." She stopped

Kane realized he was wearing the ring he was planning to give to Poppy. He removed as fast as possible. "What else?" He asked.

"After it was about to hit me I opened my eyes and I was in a field...then you tapped me on the shoulder and you...said that 'It wasn't working how you wanted it to' and you just left...." Poppy said and smiled. "I'm glad it was only a dream!"

Now, in the little amount of time we had known each other, I found that same feeling in me I felt for Ciara." He pulled out the ring again, getting on one knee. "W-will you marry me, Poppy?" He shuddered, his voice shaky.
