Ashpaw was already in the clearing when Copperfire started calling out for the cats who would participate in the patrol. A border patrol. Although close to his ultimate assessment, the gray tabby had never participated in any border patrol and hoped that the lack of experience wouldn't create him any problem. Their destination was Smallpines. Riverclan border. Isn't it the same place where Flamepaw went the last time? He remembered well his first patrol at Giant's rest, where he encountered the weirdest creatures of all. A gopher.

But the last time he had managed to bring back only a crow, although it was a pretty big one. Ashpaw was determined to do even better today.
He scanned the clearing for the two warriors he was supposed to leave with and found the couple right away, awaiting for him near the camp entrance. He padded up to them and flicked his tail in greeting, glad to be with two experienced warrior whom he would be able to learn much more. "Hello, I'm Ashpaw. This is my first time patrolling the borders!" The white and gray tabby was the leader, so the apprentice would have to pay particularly close attention to his instructions. The other warrior, a black she-cat, wasn't familiar at all to Ashpaw. But she seemed nice, and hopefully the party wouldn't get into any trouble at the border.

Feathernose frowned slightly at Smallvine. Why come? She flicked her tail to the entrance tunnel, signaling that they should go. Turning as Ashpaw walked up, she mewed, "Hi, Ashpaw. Nice to meet you."

Smallvine noticed the frown and blushed in embarrassment, she walked over to her patrol mates, ”Sorry for that” she apologized to Feathernose and dipped her head

Feathernose smiledto her. "Lets go," She mewed to them both, and headed for the tunnel.

Padding back into camp with a plump vole clutched tightly in her jaws, the lithe molly quickly trotted over to the freshkill pile to drop off her catch before veering off towards the Thunderwillow. Several things needed to be addressed today, and while certain cats seemed... sparser than usual, perhaps a meeting would reinvigorate the camp.

Bunching up her hind legs, Sparrowstar quickly leapt up to scale the tree to her preferred branch before settling into a comfortable sitting position.

"All those old enough to scale the trees, gather round for a clan meeting!" she yowled out, green eyes flicking from den to den as she awaited her clanmates.

Paws crossed everything would go smoothly today.

Violetpaw flinched, it hurted so much, she wanted the pain to stop… she wanted so say something but couldnt, it hurts…. Violetpaw turned her head a bit, wheres her tail, where was her tail, fear hit violetpaw, she dis not like this at all

Ospreypaw bounded out of the apprentices den, tail flicking back and forth as he got a spot so he could look at Sparrowstar. Which he waved his tail in greeting to her a cheerful look on his face. [ @Jayvines - If sparrowstar wants to react ]

Sungaze moved out of the warriors den and sat with his tail wrapped around his paws.

Shadefur and icepelt walked side by side, sitting down. Shadefur did snap at her sister, though, icepelts kits were due any day now
