Ciara heard a cry for help and ran to the lake to see Zero drowning. She hesitated and jumped into the water as the demon sank deep beneath the surface. She grabbed her wrist and pulled her up out of the water and dragged the soaked demon onto dry ground. She pumped water out of the demon's body and stepped back when Zero coughed. "You're welcome, demon!" She said and turned around to walk away.

Zero a hand grasp her wrist, and the next thing she knew, she was back on the surface. She saw Ciara and let out a long groan. Now she would have the unbreakable bond... she had to stay with Ciara until she could do something to pay back saving Zero's life. She could already feel the marking engraved to her wrist. A golden sparkle-shaped marking. Zero shuffled upwards, and grabbed Ciara's hand to stop her. "Wait!" She let go of Ciara's hand and shuffled her feet around. "Erm... i kinda have to... stay with you. For all of eternity. Or until i save your life." She said blankly.

Ciara started walking away when someone grabbed her head. She hissed, the other hand gripping one of her krambrat, but it was only Zero. She stared at the demon blankly."I-I-I'm sorry, what?" She said, nothing making sense to her. "Am I misunderstanding something? I was never told this in training. Are you lying? So you can kill me easier?"

Zero crossed her arms. "It's called an unbreakable bond. And they probably didn't teach you it cuz it only happens if you save a demon's life! ALSO, no! If i killed you, i'd die too!" She said in an annoyed tone.

Ciara crossed her arms right back at the demon. Well, that explains a lot. She had always wondered what would happen if she helped a demon. She flinched slightly at the wound in Zero's chest that she had given her. "Um... ok? Um..." Ciara did not know what to do. "I... I'm heading home, I guess you're just going to follow me, I believe. Hey, what's that?" She tapped the demon's wrist, where a golden sparkling thing was where Ciara had grabbed Zero's hand.

-- Ciara didn't really own a house. She lived in an alleyway or at least slept in one. The alleyway was huge, though, and mostly hidden by nature. The ground floor of the alleyway was where Ciara normally used her weapons and practiced and trained herself. And in the abandoned upstairs of the brick building to the right of the alleyway was where Ciara ate, as there were bones of animals everywhere. The room where she ate had a broken window, which was how she got in, and the door that led to more of the building was jammed. And the top part of the building was a balcony that led to a bigger room, like a living room, but without anything in it. There was a worn-down couch and a TV on the ground that still worked, and this was where Ciara slept. A blanket was on the couch, plus more bones of animals, and the wing of a demon she had killed years ago. The wing showed how old it was, about 28 years old, and looked ready to crumple to dust at any moment and if touched. Trash was everywhere, in the rooms and on the ground floor. Among the trash bags and dumpsters was another sleeping area, made out of garbage bags and other crap. --
