Fallownose padded to the base of the Breezerock to dish out another round of patrol punishments. At least this time, only one patrol hadn't reported. "Wolffeather and Driftpaw, come here, please."
Yeah, right. Goldenkit thought. The ginger shekit ignored the rude gesture and in defiance she stuck her tongue out as well. At least she was rewarded: a game of her choosing. Her grumpy mood washed away as Vulturekit apologized.
“Is fine,” said the ginger kit blankly. “I guess we could play…Clans? Oh, I’ll be the medicine cat!” The more thought she put into the game and her role, the higher her spirits soared. The bags under her eyes wrinkled away. “Yeah, and you can call me…Flurrywave!”

I want them off my territory!” the kit mewed as they pointed towards a few mossball. “Look at them. All stinky and smelly over there just staring!” Vulturekit scrunched their nose playfully at the pieces of moss. Pouncing on one and grabbing it in their mouth. Bringing it back to Goldenkit,And dropping it. “This one might need some healing,I would by glad to report and I roughed him up fairly well.” the kit couldn’t help but giggle. This was fun!

Snowypaw blinked once. Then another time. A couple of more silent blinks passed by without him noticing as he gave Fawnpaw a look that was equal parts curiosity and confusion. The brown furred apprentice certainly had a unique way of looking at things, he was sure of that much. After analyzing what she had just said the gentle giant couldn't help the purr of amusement that escaped him, slowly turning into a soft bout of laughter.
Controlling his chuckles, afraid of seeming rude, Snowypaw shook his head, his whiskers betraying his attempts at a calmer, more serious look on his face as he turned to face Fawnpaw once more. "That is certainly one way to look at it. I'm afraid my way was nowhere nearly that interesting," the gentle giant began, his paws shifting as he felt his nerves flutter up. He wasn't one to openly talk such confrontational topics, especially when he felt his opinion on most matters was unnecessary in the best of times and unwanted in all others. Fawnpaw, however, seemed to relish on these chats. She had stated as much, so the patched tom assumed it would be ruder to simply refuse to socialize and share in such a situation.
Wrapping his feathery tail neatly to hide his twitching toes, Snowypaw continued. "I was thinking in simpler terms. The clan together is stronger than a single loner, and because of that, we sometimes forget that loner is no different than a single clan cat. True, the loner lives alone and without our structure, but strip away our codes and our homes, and we are all just cats with different thoughts, feelings, likes, and dislikes. I think we forget that sometimes. We get so caught up in thinking of the clan, we forget it isn't always about how the clan is doing, but about how Fawnpaw is doing," he mewed, purring a bit at his little joke as he took one massive paw and landed it on Fawnpaw's nose, returning her earlier gesture with a laugh.
Normally such an action would not have been possible for him with a cat he knew so little of, but Fawnpaw had technically done this before, so he assumed it was an acceptable move on his part. Adding to that was the irrevocable fact that his friendships with different cats in the clan - Deadmoon, Specklepaw, Stonecrackle, and perhaps most importantly as of late, Berrypaw - had had a positive impact on the once anxiety riddled mess that he was. True, he still got stressed and nervous over offending or angering others, but it was no longer due to fear of being lashed out at. Instead, his feelings on the matter had slowly been changing into a genuine concern for making others uncomfortable, preferring not to impose too much on his clanmates and friends. Fawnpaw, however, he doubted he could offend with such a teasing gesture, certain the molly had a good sense of humor based on the small conversation they'd had so far. Well, he was mostly sure. About half certain. Almost entirely confident that she would not be offended by his touching her nose. Oh StarClan... perhaps he should apologize...
Wolffeather droppeed their head slightly. How had they forgoten to report? It wasn't Driftpaw's fault, even if the apprentice acted like a kit in his opinon. Sighing, she padded up to the deputy.

The one-eyed leader knew that despite many of her clan's disagreement with her decision, they'd still stand beside her because that was what it meant to be in a clan. Not everything Twilightstar said or did was going to appease the whole clan, but she doubted they turn on her or guilt her for it. Twilightstar already did enough of that on her own. As Fallownose [ @NinjaBloss ] and Cowpaw [ @x ghostie ] joined her, Twilightstar explained to them what she had in mind. "Normally, I wouldn't take you both with me. However, considering how delicate this situation is I think it would be a good idea to have both with me if it comes to negotiating terms, whether the terms involve sending them off or keeping them here, three heads are better than one. However, if things go... sour, Cowpaw, I want to stick close to Fallownose, I'll need both of you to head back to camp and gather reinforcements."
At the end of the day, Fallownose was WindClan's up-and-coming leader and Cowpaw was their only medicine cat. It was risky taking them with her, but it would be good for these rogues to know that WindClan was a united front and she really would like to make sure both toms had a paw in deciding what goes on in their home. She knew that Fallownose was against keeping the rogues here, and Cowpaw seemed more for it if nothing more than due to him being an empathic sweet soul. The leader, though for keeping them here for a reason, would have no problem chasing the rogues if they made one wrong move. This meeting would tip the scale in the outsiders' favor or against it.
"Nightheart [ @CreeperLover649 ], Crowfoot [ @oleander ], Coldsong [ @lumina ], Stumpypoppy [ @Eaglet ], Hawkblaze [ @Rizo ], and Snowypaw [ @Alchemist Kitsune ]. You six will accompany us to meet the rogues." Twilightstar coiled her tail behind her as she debated on bringing more cats with her if a fight did break out. They'd be outnumbered if Fallownose's estimate was right, but she was banking on the rogues' lack of battle skills and knowledge of how large the clans actually were. WindClan was known as the fastest of the four clans, hopefully, if trouble came they wouldn't be on their own for long. There was a lot of risk being thrown in here, what was life without risk?
"Peachfrost [ @Poprock ], I'd like you to stick around Cowpaw's den just in case we herbs. Ashclaw [ @~SilverShine~ ], Berrypaw [ @Kat ], Leaffall [ @Ashcloud the WindClanner ], Leopardfire [ @Silverfur & Co ], and Badgerpaw [ @SpiritedWarrior ]. I'd like it if you kept an eye on the entrance if Fallownose and Cowpaw return ahead of us, you'll know we'll need your help. The senior warriors will be in charge while we're away, let them know if they are any issues that need to be handled."
Twilightstar figured between Batglare, and the former medicine cat, and the former deputy, the clan should be in somewhat capable paws if they stepped out for a bit. Despite the reassuring thought, it did little to ease the growing anxiety in the leader's chest. Twilightstar's always been a mess when it came to decisions that could affect the whole of WindClan, even though she's done this a few times now it never got easier. It didn't help when she knew her clanmates had their doubts, but she'd rather take their doubt than false hope or compliance. Regardless of her inner turmoil, she kept her impeccable air of calm assertiveness in place.
"Any questions?" She meowed, rising to stand and eager to set off it nothing more than to settle her antsy paws. "If there's nothing else, we can go."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know you two are brothers, you two don't look very much alike. She said shyly, "I think it's good to have a sibling close to you, I think I don't have one or maybe I do but I just need to find them or something and it's great to have parents as well but I don't know who mine are so, I'm looking for some friends to play with and it's very fortunate that your brother found me or I would just be sleeping all day." She said quickly "I talk a lot and too much don't I?" She said looking at both of them.

As the Quietkit propped himself back up from his fit of laughter he wobbled on his twisted paws like a branch blowing in the wind. He still had a childish grin as his body eventually steadied himself. That grin however settled back into a closed mouth as Moorkit continued to ramble nervously. It was an odd combination of feelings that he had never experienced before. On the one paw he felt rattled by pity as the she-cat expressed she knew no friends, siblings, or family. On the other he felt encouraged and emboldened knowing he could offer some comfort in the form of his friendship. Moorkit seemed to like to talk, and Quietkit realized he liked that about her.
It took the pressure off him. The tom knew he didn't need to think hard about his responses, and that he could just be himself. With those thoughts in mind his goofy grin returned "I can be your friend Moorkit, and Flamekit can be an annoying brother to both of us." Quietkit headbutted his ginger furred brother teasingly not really meaning a word of what he said about him. He tried to lay the sarcasm on thickly so as not to hurt Flamekits feelings. His tail was raised happily with hope that Moorkit would be cheered up by his silly boasting.
She smiled at his joke, then nodded, quickly looking at the apprentices.
"okay so today we are going to showing a simple move called the duck and scratch, then we will show you how to fight as a team." She spoke to the apprentices, then turned back to Beetleblaze,
"okay, so see how he is larger than me, I clearly couldn't use only my strength to take him down, so I add in swiftness and nimbleness, and it seems more like a fair fight. So we will start with a short demonstration, then we will help you as you practice." Looking at Beetleblaze, she approached, she waited for the right moment to strike.
"now remember claws sheathed." Then when he looked like he was going to strike, she ducked quickly, raked imaginary claws down his chest and shoulders, before jumping back out of the range of his claws.

Beetleblaze took up his position across from Floatingleaf and made sure to raise his form from the green grass to look as tall and intimidating as possible. As the spotted white she cat approached cautiously he darted forward and lunged with his pink paw pads outstretched. The nimble she-cat shimmied underneath his long forelegs and gave a few faux scratches to his chest fur before pushing against his underbelly with her paws to create some distance. The shove she gave forced some air out of him making him grunt with a "uhhfff" as he stumbled back. Wow she is pretty quick. He hadn't been going full force, but then he guessed neither had she. He could see why Twilighstar thought she might make a good mentor.
Beetleblaze flicked his long bushy tail in the direction of his apprentice, wondering with slight confusion where in the world Flickerpaw was. He really should be here by now. He seemed distracted at the clan meeting. Hopefully Floatingleaf can work with him. The tall warrior spoke part of his concerns aloud "When Flickerpaw catches up to us you can try the duck and scratch maneuver while he can be the attacker." His voice was more concerned and confused than irritated. His emerald eyes jumped from the heather bushes, to Floatingleaf, then to Cloverpaw, repeating that sequence at least once more while he waited for the other prospective student.
The dark tabby tom looked around at the gathered cats as his leader named those who would accompany her. His tail whisked in satisfaction as he heard his name among them. Rising to his paws, Hawkblaze dipped his head to Twilightstar and gave a nod to each of the others. "I have no questions. I am ready," he grumbled in his rough, gravely voice.

Looking around for her apprentice, as Beetleblaze made eye contact with her at least twice, she was disappointed to see that Flickerpaw had not arrived, hoping Flickerpaw was still at the meeting she looked at her her clan mates and sighed
"Beetleblaze is correct, you should try the maneuver with Flickerpaw when she gets here, but until then, Cloudpaw, you and Beetleblaze should spar and I can jump in where I'm needed." She tried to hide the disappointment in her voice but failed, her own apprentice, her first apprentice was late to her first lesson.
