Zero looked between her sister and the nurse. She waved her sister away and sat down in one of the cheap plastic seats that were in the hospital lobby.

Zero burst into the room, and she felt dizzy at the sight of Ciara hooked up to more machines. She sat down in one of the few chairs beside the bed, and put her head in her hands. This was terrible... every time she made a friend... even just a small relationship... they died. She didn't notice that the imprint on her wrist was gone... her dept had been paid back a long time ago.
