"May Bluebellcrackle be able to come back to us after she smooths out whatever's going on with her family..." she murmured. "But I'm glad Raccoonear, Fogcloud, and Moonfrost are becoming shields. They all deserve it!"

The warrior took that quiet and contained laugh as both a yes and a ‘that’s a funny pun!’. Cricketsting purred and turned his eyes back on Pikestar. Besides the young missing medicine cat, the leader announced the new deputy and the new shields.

“Way to go, Gingerfrost! You will be a cool deputy!” ( for you, @Estelle

) Puns aside, Cricketsting meant it. The younger warrior was a good choice. “Becoming a warrior and having your mentor become deputy on the same day. You must be blessed by Warrior Luck!” he murmured to Littlepaw. Although Cricketsting never met the new shields before, he nodded in agreement to what the soon-to-be warrior had said.

LilyLeaf had been out looking for some prey but had fallen short. As she returned to camp, already emabrrassed, she realized she had missed another meeting. "Pull your crap together LilyLeaf!" she thought, scolding herself. She padded over to her daughter "What happen while I was gone?" She asked her.

Blue-eyes thought for a moment then signed 'gingerfrost is the new deputy! and there are new shields as well' with his paws

Mintpaw turned as the familiar scent of Lilyleaf reached her nostrils. Her mother trotted up to her, clearly late for this important meeting. She acknowledged her presence with a twitch of her ear and returned her gaze on the Streamstone once more. "Gingerfrost is Riverclan's new deputy". She wondered if her mother had any idea of who this cat was, because from now on he would have a fundamental role in the clan.
