Galekit screeched with laughter as Big Cat Sparrow put her tail on her head and stuck her tongue out at him. He sat up as the big brown and tan cat said... she was lonely?! NOT on Galekits watch!! He was determined to make the cool cat not lonely. "Hmm.. We're friends now! And I'll stay in here with you sometimes when Mama lets me, so you're never ever lonely!" He sat up, small and chubby face looking quite serious now. He stood, looking around with a 'Hmm', before running out. He returned moments later with a kit-sized ball of moss in his mouth. He sniffed the den again, this time looking for a nice place to put the moss. He found a good spot right next to Big Cat Sparrow's nest, placed the moss down, and started flattening it the way he'd seen Mama do it when their nest got changed. He stepped back once he was done and nodded with approval. "There. Now you'll never be lonely, Big Cat Sparrow!" He chirped and bumped his head against her side with a happy purr.
The hulking apprentice hardly noticed the little pawsteps creeping up behind her, thanks to the unsurprisingly bustling energy of the nursery. There was always some clowder of kits in there making a racket (she had been one of them, back in the day!), so she let out a yelp of surprise when a sudden weight found itself on her back.
She craned her neck in the direction of her attacker, teeth baring and a low growl rising in her throat in reflex - but her eyes quickly softened as her eyes met a little grey kitten latched onto her pelt. She muttered out a few quiet apologies before crouching low to the ground, so the little hunter could let himself down if he wanted.
"You ha-ave a great-t-t crouch." She complemented weakly, giving a small smile towards the tom. Stars forbid she scare a kit.

Galekit chirped triumphantly as he heard the big grey cat yelp. But... soon she was growling at him which caused him to yelp! Wait... Big Grey was crouching so he could get off, which he did of course. Great crouch? He smiled proudly. "Yeeahh, I know. I watched some of the apprentices." He flaunted his very poor imitation of the professionals. If he could stand on just his hindlegs, he would to measure himself next to the bigger cat. "What's your name? I'm Galekit, and I'm the coolest! My Mama's in the nursery right now, taking care of all my siblings. I'm, of course, the coolest of us all! Mama also says I have to protect them, since they're all babies, like Honeykit. She's kinda, uh - whats the word... PRISSY, THAT'S IT!!! Yeah, she's sooooo prissy." The little tom talked... a lot. But, y'know, he was pretty cute, so it was okay. Probably.

The Calico had once again found his way to his normal spot. Laying out in the sun in a corner of the clearing. He was almost at that stage where a nap would happen, he could basically taste it, and after not sleeping for roughly 2 days he despreatly needed it. So, in an attempt to get comfortable, he wrapped himself around a rock. Back facing towards the clearing, a foolish decision he would soon learn.

Life is full of detours, and roundabout paths
Live as you wish, go ahead and live.
Life, before you realize it, is like an arrow
Let's set off the fireworks of our lives.
The tabby apprentice had trotted into the clearing after a quick nap in his apprentices den. His two colored eyes flickering around before they landed on a warrior who's back was turned from the clearing.
His eyes widened as he slowly slipped into stalk and slowly stalked toward the warrior before waiting just slightly behind the warrior, his paw sticking out slowly above the warrior.
Ears swiveling as he waited for a moment more before bringing his paw down to gently bap the warrior on the head. His tongue sticking out in a small blep.

Beankit had poked his head into the den to see if his friend Coldpaw was in there, but the kittens curousity of what the odder apprentice was doing got the better of him. he slunk over silently to mew "why you build by entrance?" he asked, this kit not at all staying still for a mintue "Cinder lord! .... Cinderstar? .... Cinder of winds? i Beankit the Stinkiest Bean!"
The apprentice had caught wind of the fact that Cinderpaw apparently came back to life - which he was sure was impossible, by the way - but not even once did he believe it. Unless he saw it with his own two eyes she was still dead, end of story. Nothing against her, of course. He thought she was cool as hell! But he wasnt immature enough to entertain the thought of a clanmate coming back from the dead, not when it was entirely impossible.
Or at least, that what he thought until he saw said cat in the flesh. "holy hell-" he found himself saying out loud at the sight of her, "You mean youre actually, like, alive again?"
The curious squeaking of a kitten wasn't much of a surprise to Cinderpaw - she'd done her fair share of idolizing apprentices as a kit, too - and she turned from her project to answer the little tom's question. Her expression changed from a grim look to a small smile. "So I can st-st-stand guard-d." She explained gently to the kit, cringing a bit as he referred to her as Cinderstar. She hoped no warriors overheard that one. "Some--thing stinkin' c-c-can bring fox-x-xes to camp, y'kn--ow."
She was half teasing, but who knew? Bad smells brought all sorts of predators to camp. Her attention was pulled away from Beankit by the gawking of a calico apprentice nearby.
Cinderpaw hated being treated as some walking miracle. Her hackles raised in annoyance as she shot a look the younger tom's way. The rational part of her knew he was probably just curious, but she was too used to lashing out to protect herself.
"Y'think I ask--ed for th-this?" She muttered, gesturing to the thick scars banding around her body.
Cinderpaw nodded sagely as the kit explained where his stalking skills had come from, thankful that she hadn't seriously scared him with her reflex. "App--rentices teach t-the best." She agreed. Anyone looking on would have assumed it just an offhand comment, but the apprentice truly agreed with the sentiment. "'m C-C-Cinderpa--aw."
As Galekit blabbered on, the tabby let out an amused huff. Part of her wished she was still that talkative. Happy memories of her siblings flickered faintly, playing with Elderkit and whining about Ashenmoth's mean jokes to Shallowshiver in particular. But anything happy was much too easily clouded by just about everything else. She forced any sadness down as she addressed the kitten before her.
"Even a-a-after they're not ba--bies 'nym-more. You g-g-gotta help 'em, 'cuz t-theyre your f-f-family. Don't fo--rget that." She smiled, hoping to impart some kind of wisdom on him without whining about her entire sad story to a kitten. He didn't need to know about things like that yet. "Even if they're p-prissy."
Lotuskit had never been in the elder's den before, and she was very curious, "Hello? I heard that you guys tell super awesome stories! Do you think I could hear one?"
(Open to all elders! I would love some interaction with her!)
