Ciara sobbed, the memories all making sense. How could I have forgotten? It must have been all that time I spent without Zero, since we were separated from each other when I was caught. Ciara had served her sentence and soon had become a famous demon hunter and assassin. Now, the weight of her assignment was dragging her down. Ciara had been hired to kill the demon living in the woods. And she found that demon. And it was her old friend, Zero, the demon she had saved from drowning over 10 years ago. "M-my assignment..." Ciara whispered softly, finally pulling herself off Zero. She wiped her eye, which was bloodshot slightly and her right cheek was wet with tears. "What am I going to tell the others? I can't kill you," she asked Zero, rubbing her eye.

Zero twirled some of her grey hair around her finger in thought. "Hm... uh... lie maybe? I'm good at lying." She said with a shrug. The demon put her hands in her pockets, awaiting Ciara's reaction.

"Do I tell the truth or lie and say that I killed you? But if I say that I killed you, you would have to go somewhere else as the humans will try and reexplore the forest. Maybe there is a way that I can turn you normal..."
