Stepping up so that he stood in the row directly behind the line of to-be-apprentices, Flintfang flashed the closest one, Swallowkit, a winning grin. "Hiya squirt! Smile for me, will ya?" He asked, tail swishing against the ground. "It's your big day after all!"
[ @maple. - Swallowkit / No need to reply to this! I just wanted Flint to show this poor darling some emotional support ]

The small calico heard steps behind her, turning to see a grey cat standing behind her. He smiled at her, and she just continued to stare, silent. Smile? Why? What do I have to smile about..? Why did he call her squirt? What does that mean??? The small kit furrowed her brow, looking confused. "You're my friend now." She mewed bluntly, before turning back around.

dino dropped a stolen treasure chest here and ran
Small paw steps scrambled, hastily making her way towards the meeting. Heart pounding in her chest, as if it would jump out and run away at any moment. She'd been late, only sightly. Her fur roughly groomed, but she still stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the others. She brushed her way through the cats, scattered 'pardons' and 'excuse mes' left her paw. She was almost sure she'd stepped on another cat's tail at some point, but there wasn't time for that now. Rowan would make up her excuses and apologize later.
Finally she'd arrived, scooting her way next to the other kits. Her cheeks flushed with the slightest embarassment. She seemed out of place here, and the fact that Koikit wasn't joining her made the young molly's heart ache.
Bright eyes peered up at the leader, unsure if he'd noticed her tardiness. Rowankit wasn't exactly sure if he'd even taken notice to her, but decided to mouth a small "Sorry Pikestar!" to the leader just incase. Her eyes were wide, looking at the crowd for any sort of familar face. Particularly that of her new found protector, Fogcloud. Who's kind words had allowed the cat to work up the courage to be here. Small paws tapped the bottom of the stone, her body constantly fidgeting.
Rowankit set her eyes on Koikit, smiling nervously. She nodded back at her brother, pride filling her heart at his excitement. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad?
Her eyes wondered, looking at the field of warriors ahead. Rowan knew a few of them, others were fuzzy in her memory. She decided to focus on one cat in particular who seemed to be whispering to another cat. What was that he was passing to the other? A pebble? That was.. interesting. I bet it would be real easy just to snatch that pebble and eat it.
Stonehollow could understand why Bouncepaw considered himself useless. Passing a pebble was a pretty simple task, and Bouncepaw completely disregarded it in favor of commenting on its looks and whining to Bluebellpaw. Being largely ignored actually stung a bit, but Stonehollow kept a neutral expression as he reached to pluck the stone back. If Bouncepaw didn't want to play along, that was fine - he'd find someone else to humor him. "Lighten up, being so stony isn't going to do you any good, kid!" Without having much more to say, he nodded in greeting to Bluebellpaw before he weaseled away.
On the prowl for a new playmate, Stonehollow hatched an idea. He found another small rock near the edge of camp and collected it before he returned to the crowd. He'd up the stakes for this!
He spied his targets in the crowd, and made his way over to the first, whom he recognized as Pebblefoot. Thankfully, Cricketsting was closeby - perfect. He beckoned to them erratically to get their attention, before sliding both stones over to each: the marbled rock went to Pebblefoot, while the shiny stone went to Cricketsting. "We're gonna play a game, okay? It'll be a team building exercise-- nothing too crazy! Cricketsting, I want you to go on the other side of the crowd. We're going to pass these pebbles: our goal is to get one to Mistycloud without getting caught, and before the other group does."
There wasn't much to offer in terms of reward, so he didn't include that for the time being. If cats cared, he'd figure something out-- he just wasn't like, a somebody who could make promises. He wasn't a high or special rank, he was just Stonehollow. "Let's gooo!!" Oop, maybe that was a little louder than he intended. Man, all this whispering was hard!!!
[ FIRST rock to be moved 7 posts can be pushed toward Mistycloud ;
this is to give both sides a pretty solid chance at being the winner.

Mistycloud watched the three from afar and nodded at Stonehollow. She was ready on the other side of the clearing waiting for the stone/rock from one of them. Her eyes reflected the light from the sky and she looked around the clearing. The warrior shifted in her spot to get comfortable. Mistycloud sneezed as she sat down.

He looked at Bluebellpaw, his blue gaze was tired and cold. “I know he is, and I’m happy for him, we get to be apprentices together!” he forced a smile, “And, I haven’t even gotten a tour yet. And I’m seven moons Bluebellpaw!” a small tear formed in his eye, “I don’t know how I can be of use. I do absolutely nothing all day!” he whimpered quietly
-Bluebellpaw-
Huh. Seven moons and still no tour? Well, she hadn't had one either, but Bluebellcrackle was going away, so she was getting a new mentor. "Oh, Bouncepaw, there's no use whining about it. Who's your mentor, anyway? Go find them and ask for a tour. Or, talk to Pikestar to see if you can get a reassignment." She looked up, seeing Stonrhollow whisk away, and that he had taken the stone with him. She hadn't heard most of the conversation, but she recalled something along the lines of Sronhollow wanting Bouncepaw to pass the stone along? Like... a nursery game?
Well, nursery games were fun, a part of her reasoned, and she sighed. Fun. Just what the clan needed to loosen up. She turned back to Bouncepaw. "Don't be upset, Bouncepaw- I haven't had a tour yet either. Miss Bluebellcrackle is leaving, so I have to get a new mentor anyhow." She stared over at Stonehollow, who had found a new group of cats to play with. "Oh, and you ought to apologize to Mr. Stonehollow too. Its not polite to ignore others."

Bouncepaw froze at the mention of apologizing, “B-But I don’t know how to start a conversation without running away!” he said before whining and slinking over to Stonehollow
@BEAR. “Hey, Stonehollow, I’m sorry for ignoring you, I don’t know why I did so” he looked at his paws in somewhat shame

Somewhere at the misty edges of her mind, Crowkit had been aware her ceremony was approaching, and the meaningless days of her kithod were nearing their ends as she would be renamed and assigned duties. It was the mentor part she dreaded the most because with the exception of Blizzardwind and maybe Birdpaw, she found few cats worth being around at all. But now she would be forced to spend several training sessions with them, and without a doubt have to use her words sooner or later. With some luck and the help of a few dusshootinging stars, she might be assigned to someone less annoying. Bad fortune on her part, however, and these moons would become a misery to endure.
But the large, black kit was hardly given a choice in the water whether or not to be apprenticed, considering the law of the clans as well as the leader, and all her clanmates would be against her if she tried to prevent the torturess period. Crowkit rarely laughed or changed from the gloamingly unreadable expression she wore like a mask stitched onto her face, but something akin of a dry, and almost amused scoff pressed in her chest at the thought of her, a measly, ragged kit trotting up and standing in defiance of all the forces against her right now. How humorous wouldn't the sight of someone with her appearance placing themselves in front of the leader and declaring that no, they wouldn't follow along with the path placed out for them be? Surely that would amuse the older warriors slightly, and maybe even ear a laugh at her expense before they came up with some kind of punishment for that kind of foolishness.
Since her feelings would hardly be considered, the colossal shape of midnight-colored fur rose onto it's paws and moved towards the Streamstone like a loaming dark ghost before stopping at the foot of the leader, looking up at him with a focused, unwavering yellow gaze.
