Tigerpaw opened her eyes. It... it worked! It took about 3 hours just to get out of the gorge, but when she did, the tabby orange she-cat went straight to WindClan territory, looking for the one cat that she needed to see. "Twilightstar? Where are you?" She called. "It's me, Tigerpaw." With her one green eye scanning her surroundings, Tigerpaw hoped that Twilightstar was still the leader and that she hadn't been fooled in StarClan.
It was the middle of the night. Nettlekit had been woken up by a chirping cricket in the nursery, which caused her too much distress to go back asleep. She had no clue where the loud bug even was, too, which only put her more on edge. It could be anywhere...staring at her with those big buggy eyes and long scary legs...Nettlekit wanted to cry just thinking about it. Crickets are the worst!!
So, the little snowshoe kitten wandered out of her nest of bundled siblings and into the dark clearing, determined to find a quieter place to sleep. She figured the bigger dens would only be full of more bugs, so Nettlekit decided to venture toward the leader's den. No cricket would dare to chirp at Mama Twilightstar, right?
Nettlekit hurried inside, running only because it was freezing cold outside. Without thinking twice, she crawled right into Twilightstar's nest and snuggled up with her. No more crickets. No more cold. Only warmth...mmmyes, this was much better than the nursery! "I sleep with you!" She proudly announced, cuddling closer to the leader. Mama Twilightstar would surely protect her from those pesky crickets!
@Moonraven [Btw Nettle calls her "Mama Twilightstar" because she is a 1 moon old baby and doesnt compered Clan dynamics. To her, the whole clan is just a big family. Twilight and Fallow (her adopted dad) is just the mommy and daddy of the clan lol]
Maplepaw waited patiently as a cat, looking quite rugged around the edges (similar to Dawnstar, except this cat is lacking an eye), and dipped his head in apology as she finally began to speak to him. This must be Twilightstar or one of her high ranks- deputy, possibly.
"I apologize... it's been a while since I've been on Clan territory in the forest. And I've never been this close to WindClan territory- you see, I used to be in ShadowClan, but when twolegs came and caused so much destruction, I decided to go out to the outskirts to find someplace for ShadowClan to stay. But..." he paused for a moment. "I got swept away in the river and drowned. I know you're probably wondering why I'm not back in ShadowClan since I was born there... you see, Dawnstar's... scary, and she doesn't like it when her Clanmates don't use their brains like she wants, so I decided to stay away from her and ShadowClan."
The young Persian didn't receive much training, so all of this- including speaking to a Clan leader, was completely new to him. He could sense now that he had accidentally walked right into WindClan territory and stepped back a bit, hoping he was on the other side of the border.
"I never learned Clan scents... sorry for stepping into your territory," he dipped his head once more and waited to hear what Twilightstar would say.

a sudden, bright voice tore the lanky oriental mix from his thoughts. he found himself eye to eye with an unfamiliar face, and... he was stunned. cedarbug felt like he was staring at this gorgeous cat for a thousand moments, taking in the stranger's breathtaking fluffy fur and bright eyes and breathtaking smile. oh, stars. cedarbug had been staring too long. with an awkward pause to clear his throat and avert his gaze, the windclan warrior dipped his head. "i'm so sorry-- i'm cedarbug."
after that, the other cat seemed to notice his troubles. with a sigh, cedarbug contemplated leaving it a secret. after all, he didn't need to dump all his issues onto a stranger. but this cat seemed so genuinely sweet and kind, not to mention absolutely beautiful-- maybe this could help him get to know this cat? "well, uh. it's just that my leader, twilightstar -- i'm sure you've heard of her -- she thinks i'm completely useless!" at that, cedarbug sat down a cautious distance away from adder rocks (just in case!) and invited his companion to do so as well with a tap of his paw on the ground. "i never get to do anything worthwhile for this clan, and i've dedicated my whole life to it! i never get to hunt or fight, and they won't even let me go tunnel underground! it's not fair!" cedarbug huffed, stumpy tail flicking side to side more vigorously as he spoke. "sometimes i just wish i could do something to stand out. i'm pretty sure twilightstar doesn't even know my name for stars' sake!" he lifted his olive gaze to meet the other cat's eyes. "i'm sorry to dump this on you, is-- is there any way i can help you out? i don't wanna just tell you all my issues and run, yknow?" cedarbug offered a weak smile, feeling lighter now that he had vented to some cat.
Milkpaw (he/him) Creamy-white fluffy fur and green eyes. Chonky face!

"Great! Because this huge bundle keeps falling off my mouth." He said, before hooking half of it away with one of his tiny claws. Now there were two soggy moss balls. "Let's carry it before it dries out." He added, grabbing one and waiting for Berrypaw to do the same.
Together they padded to the elder's den and entered quietly, so not to disturb the cats who were sleeping or wanted to be left alone. There was enough drink for everyone, at least for now, so the two apprentices could scamper out successfully.
What could they do now? Berrypaw seemed like a cool cat, especially because she showed kindness, which Milkpaw cherished as a special characteristic. "Uhm... What can we do now?" With such a young, timid cat beside him, it was easier to come out of his own shyness and he found that his voice was a tad steadier than usual, too.
[No problem! I decided to skip the elder's den part because it's always hard to find elders to interact with, but we can pretend the stuff happened and go on.]
Berrypaw
Post Count: 74/100
Nodding quietly as Milkpaw agreed to let her help him, she mutely picked up the wad of wet moss in her jaw, following her denmate on quiet pawsteps into the elder's den. It didn't take long to put it down in an accessible location and then hurry out after her cream-furred companion.
She was quite startled that instead of abandoning her the first moment he'd got, Milkpaw actually turned around to ask her what she wanted to do. Instantly, this act of kindness warmed Berrypaw, and a smile inched it's way onto her face. "I'm... Not sure. That is, if you're busy or want to go off somewhere else I wouldn't mind..."
Foxfire stalked silently through the adder rocks, his eye snapped to snake tail poking out of a hole in the rocks. he stalked forward silently and pounced on the fowl thing, killing it in one blow to the head... (open)
Rabbittail
27 Moons
Rabbittail was padding through the outcrop of grass and rocks with her head low to the earth. Her scarred nose twitched at the familiar scent of her own clan, it was a toms scent but she couldn't place it. I wonder where that kit went? She had been searching for some time for the little ball of blue fur that had managed to struggle from her jaws and run off. The cream warrior felt frazzled by her concern for the youngster. I can't believe I lost him! Rather than feel assured by her clanmates nearby presence, her body was tense. Whoever it was Rabbittail was at a loss for what to tell him if she found him.
Would he even help her find a rogues kit, one possibly from the group at swooping cliffs? Her stomach churned realizing that he might chastise her for not being more concerned about their own clan. She could barely wrap her own head around her decision, even if the warrior code said she had to help the kit. The warrior raised her green eyes over the collection of rocks and grass to see Foxfire proudly holding an adder between his jaws. "You know that prey is too dangerous to be worth catching right?" Her irritation at her own failure was seeping into her words which were targeted at Foxfire.
William
@vellichor
Oh...well he was just standing there...staring...for a good amount of time William thought he broke the strangers brain. As he opened his maw to try and ask the other if they were alright...again, the other seemed to have booted up, startling the tabby. With a puff, he flattened his fur again. "It's okay, I'm sure I startled you...I'm Dusk." lie rolling off his tongue, after all no one said he had to use his actual name, and it was his favorite time of day, sue him.
'So that was her name.' he thought to himself. The one with one eye...it also answered his suspicions on that one being leader leader...not just that little patrol leader. So she lied to him in the territory all together, how rude. The outsider angled his ears forwards, making sure he seemed curious and worried about what the other was saying. Nodding his head every few seconds or so. Letting out a few 'tut tut's after Cedearbug had finished the first part of his rant.
William gently sat himself down across from the Warrior, he didn't feel like craning his neck to look and listen. So across was best. "I bet she's very wrong, I mean look at you right now! You've gone out by yourself! That's a big thing, she's very foolish to think so little of you." he hummed, laying on the worry for the other thick as honey. But, than he said something that piqued the felines interest. Tunnels? They had tunnels? With the resent eviction notice that one eyed leader gave them, those sounded like a bright, yet dusty, future. But he couldn't get too excited, not yet. "I have no idea what tunneling is, but you definitely look and sound like the type who could do it! It sounds really hard. I think I could just hunt food...if I'm being honest." a chuckle tacked to the end of his words.
The apology caught him off guard though, making his ears perk, and his tail flick. Never had he been apologized to...by a Clan cat. That was new. "No need for an apology...hmm...I do appreciate the offer to make it up to me, how bout this." a pause as the outsider leaned forwards, smile on his maw. "You show me how tunneling works, and I'll give you tips on how to make your leader notice you! You work so hard, and you deserve some appreciation. I'll show you little tips and tricks, and maybe even teach you some things most of your Clan may not know about!" he really didn't want to hang out with this one more than he had to. But he needed to see of those tunnels were worth anything.

He looked away from the other apprentice and looked back
to their mentors. "Alright i'll get in postion" he stepped
away and took a few steps, turned to face the warriors,
planted his feet in the dirt and aimed his ears at them.
Beetleblaze
25 Moons
Beetleblaze relaxed himself slightly as he readied for his apprentices attack, wondering whether he would pick him or Floatingleaf as his first target. "Come at us whenever. We are ready." His green eyes scanned his charge, trying to read his intent. He could tell nothing of his plan, all he saw in the white toms eyes was focus. Nerves lingering just under the surface of his forest green eyes. He tried not to let Flickerpaws despondent nature distract him, Clearly she has misunderstood why I chose Cloverpaw first.
He had only chosen him because he did not know Flickerpaw, and did not have the authority to start ordering her around with her own mentor present. He tried to push his own feelings aside as he waited for his apprentices inevitable attack.
Moorkit runs away from Flamekit and Quietkit, she hides in her nest.
Quietkit
2 Moons
Quietkit watched Moorkit as her words tumbled awkwardly from her mouth. The little gray tomkit wasn't sure he knew what to say but managed a "T-thank you," in between her monologue. He chuckled a little as she covered her face with her white paws, feeling slightly bewildered by her actions. Her frazzled energy leaked into him, and as she ran over to her nest he padded over tepidly in her direction. She was turned away from him as he asked"Why'd you run away? His shyness was apparent, but it had lost out to his curiosity. He pulled a paw back towards his tiny gray striped body feeling self conscious, "I'm not bothering you am I?

Clover'Paw
Once his pale eyes adjusted he saw his mentors flickering eyes,
he knew well now that clover'paw needed a plan but first play fool. The tom dig his hind paws in the dirt and rushed forward
with his head ducked down, then reared and raised a forepaw
to attempt to swipe at his own mentors nose with sheathed claws.
