Flameheart was napping in the clearing when a painful whimper sounded from an old denmate of hers (who has yet to receive his name). Pinning her ears back to hear the conversation and get an idea of what was happening, the young warrior rose to her paws and glanced around the clearing for any sign of Sparrowstar, Copperfire, or even one of the Keepers. Taking note of how no one has seemed to get even remotely angered by the fact an apprentice had gotten injured in a spar was... more than irritating. Much more. Despite being the youngest warrior in ThunderClan as of right now, she still felt a sense of responsibility to defend her injured Clanmate.

"You!" she yowled in the tom's direction. "Get your fluff over here!"

After giving her denmate a chance to drag his paws over to where she was standing, the large warrior remained still and narrowed her eyes. "I shall need to know two things: your name and what exactly caused Sharppaw to get hurt."

I'll report to Sparrowstar about this... Sharppaw can't do patrols or really anything outside of camp if he's injured enough to say "ow" multiple times... the young warrior refused to sit down, she wasn't going to let her Clanmate get away from this easily, even if it was just an accident. Accidents, no matter how major, still get consequences, don't they? He probably will either way...

"Well? We don't have all day!"

The red-furred, large pawed apprentice was enjoying his own time when a rambunctious apprentice, acting as if they belonged in the nursery still, barreled across his path. He let out a his of surprise, and growled at the she-cat.
"Watch where you're going, fleabrain!"

"Watch where you're going, fleabrain!" Burningpaw looked up at the cat she ran into. They had pretty red fur and beautiful eyes. The apprentice shook her head, she didn't even know the cat's name yet. "Sorry!" Burningpaw said, already on her way to find her mentor. "By the way," she said before leaving, "I'm Burningpaw!"

Beastwatcher was sad, you could tell the Maine coon was very sad.. "Beastwatcher laddie, for the how he got hurt part.." He spoke very sadly of the next part.. "He had his front paws out and his claws out, I was charging at him so my chest literally got strapped into my flesh, for him his legs were really hurt during the process.." He said in a sorrowful voice.

Flameheart sighed, she wasn't very good at scolding her superiors... and really, she shouldn't be. But this time, she had to be firm because the keepers, deputy, and leader weren't there to scold or do anything about it. It was clear Beastwatcher, as he was named, was beating himself up over it. And although the classic tabby Maine Coon wanted to scold him, she was in no place (rank-wise) to do so, so instead, she just looked the tom up and down.

"Well, Beastwatcher, you are aware of keeping your claws sheathed when sparring, correct? Do you know if Sharppaw is aware of this rule as well?" her voice was low, there was no need to attract her other Clanmates' attention over the matter. "Is Sharppaw your apprentice? Are you aware that I have no choice but to report to Sparrowstar for the lack of rule-following and Sharppaw's injury?"

Beastwatcher looked quite upset over this, so Flameheart thought it was fair to give him a heads-up on the reporting part of this situation. After all, Flameheart couldn't just let it dissolve into history and have the entirety of the Clan ignore this when an apprentice possibly obtained a serious injury.

The young she-cat listened to her denmate patiently, her ears perked with interest in what he had to say. Not his mentor... thought Sharppaw knew what to do with his claws in a spar... well, I guess it's my job to remind Beastwatcher that he should talk to the apprentice regardless of if he knew what he was getting into or not. Ugh... now I understand why Sparrowstar and Copperfire get easily irritated when a job isn't done or isn't done right...

"Alright... well, I guess you need a bit of a reminder. I won't be so friendly if I catch you sparring an apprentice and they get injured like Sharppaw did, so I suggest you listen to me carefully, Beastwatcher," she huffed before continuing. "You are a warrior, he is an apprentice. Regardless of his answer to your question or suggestion to spar, you need to remind him that no claws are to be used. Either of you- or even both of you could get seriously injured. StarClan was merciful with you. I hope you remember my words the next time you suggest a sparring match with a Clanmate."

She then followed his gaze to the medicine den and sat down, now feeling she got her point across to the older warrior, "Go in there and make sure Sharppaw will heal. Stay out of Sundust and Rosepaw's way, though. Afterward, I want you to speak to Sparrowstar yourself and own up to your mistake in front of her. Got it?"

There, at least she would help her Clanmate be a little more mature and think about his mistake. Flameheart had made a couple of mistakes in her life, once when she was a kit and once when she was an apprentice, but now that she was a warrior, it was a way to refresh herself and start over becoming a role model for kits and apprentices alike.

Redpaw noticed Burningpaw's eyes... They were bright yellow balls of energy, consuming Redpaw and leaving him speechless. He felt the urge to say something before she left. His green eyes scanned her pelt. It was a beautiful red color, just like a vixen- or at least, what he thought a vixen would look like. Breaking free from his daze, he managed to say something to Burningpaw.
"Uh- Uh I'm Red? Paw? Redpaw, yes. That's me. Yeah..."
Dang it. I screwed that up so bad! Way to go, Redpaw!

The young classic tabby Maine Coon dipped her head, grateful to have knocked some sense into her denmate despite not using any harsh words other than to get his attention. But her neck snapped and her eyes once again met the older warrior. Try? Really?! Does he not know this is a serious problem?!

"Don't try, Beastwatcher. Do." Flameheart bared her teeth, now getting annoyed. "Sparrowstar would want to hear about this, and it's better for you to own up to your mistakes than for me to tell her. Go, and go now."

She rose up to her paws and tilted her head to the medicine den before sighing and padding away into the warrior's den. Quite frankly, she was being merciful with Beastwatcher. If she wasn't, she'd be dragging the tom by his ears into Sparrowstar's den and dropping him at her feet. She hated it when younger cats got injured for stupid reasons. Although, she did have to applaud Sharppaw for taking an interest in his training.

"I meant if he's not busy don't you get that lad? I've done a lot of stuff wrong but if the leader is busy I can't report to him." He said before walking to the leaders den.
