Moonlight couldnt help but glance uneasily back at Teddie. Teddie new this was wrong, but she was a villain. What could she say? "I know youre my friend but none of the heroes will get hurt if thats what youre worrying about. She's just going to go have some fun. Okay? I hope thats understandable.." her voice became a whisper. Could she justify the fact that they were scaring hundreds of people? She hoped it was enough to please Teddie.

"If you go you'll be safe" she turned her head to face Teddie. "I can even come with you if you dont believe me" she said, then she looked at Nina. She'd better not bust herself because Moonlight was not in the mood to be forgiving to anyone trying to urt Teddie. "I originally called you all to tell you that Teddie is allowed in our base, and anyone who dare harm her will face consequences" she looked around to glare at each of the villains. Her gaze finally rested on Teddie but it was softer and warmer. "Dont worry, nothing will happen to you" she said firmly

Teddie sank deeper in her chair, realizing what she had put herself into. I'm a villain now. But I can't harm anyone. I'm the worst villain to exist because I was never supposed to be one. She didn't look at Moonlight when she said that Teddie would be safe if she went with Nina. And the way she addressed that if anyone harmed Teddie there will be bad things made Teddie's heart slightly crack. She glanced up at Moonlight when she spoke to her. She cares for me. Mother always said that the best of friends come from the least expected ways and places. If only she could see me now... She'll kill me... If she saw me now... Teddie wanted to be alone now. She wanted to argue with herself. "C-c-can I be, um... Alone, for a while?" Her voice was very weak and so quiet it was like she had barely tried to talk and hard to hear, meeting Moonlight's eyes. Teddie felt herself start to sweat as her mask stuck to her face.

Moonlight met Teddie's gaze. She wanted to be alone? Well, she could do what she wanted to. "Go ahead, but If you need something I'll be here" she said warmly to Teddie before wrapping up the meeting and allowing all the villains to do their well.. Villainy stuff

Teddie pushed herself up and walked out of the room. She went to another room and sat down on the floor, pushing her hands against her head and closing her eyes and let the fighting begin. 'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, TEDDIE!?!?!?' One part of Teddie's mind screamed, making her flinch. 'YOU ARE BETRAYING YOUR OWN PARENTS!!!!' But I don't need to be a leader to be happy! The other side of Teddie argued back. I have Moonlight now, and she's amazing. 'You haven't seen the worst of her.' She protects me... 'Wait until you see her hurt another villain just for harming you. Hurting innocent people! Just for you!' Please! She's more than a villain! 'SHE'S EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH A VILLAIN!!! SHE'S JUST WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MONENT TO FINISH THE JOB!!!!' Listen to me! My head is starting to hurt! 'GOOD!!!! IT BETTER!!!! YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT MOONLIGHT IS THE WORST ENEMY TO HAVE!!!' SHE'S MY FRIEND!!! 'LIES!!!' Teddie's brain kept screaming at itself, making Teddie lie down on the floor, moaning in pain, clutching her head tightly with her hands. 15 minutes later and she was still doing it. She started twitching, her moans getting slightly louder.

[ Teddie has two kinds of minds: the one that she uses all the time, and the kind that's dedicated to her safety. And the second one can get a bit... Overreacting at times. ]

Moonlight had ended the meeting a while ago and had come to check up on Teddie. She slowly opened the door, it made a creeking noise while she did. "Its been about 15 minutes" she said pointing to her hand that didnt have a watch. "You good?" she sat down besides Teddie, just far enough to give her personal space.

Teddie's arguing brain suddenly shut up when Moonlight spoke. Teddie jolted to a sitting position, looking at her new friend. 'She's NOT your friend!' SHUT UP!! Teddie's mind growled at the other side. She clenched her fists and looked up. "Y-yeah, um... I was just, uh... Fighting with my thoughts?" It wasn't a lie, Teddie knew that. But her safety side was digging deep inside of her, and she found herself edging slightly away from Moonlight.

She sighed. "Are you still mad at me for being a villain?" she didnt move closer when she edged away. "I told you im sorry, but its sort of my duty as a leader..." she looked down. She wanted to dedicate everything to Teddie but she just couldnt. She was a leader, and a good leader had to sometimes put things above others. But this didnt mean she couldnt take care of Teddie and be a good friend

Teddie shook her head quickly. "N-no! It's not that, it's, well..." She sighed. How the heck was she supposed to say that she has two mindsets? "Ok, I'm just going to flat-out say it. I have two mindsets. One is the one I use all the time, and the other is, um... Kind of like a safety side? And, um... That side, uhm..." 'That's right! You tell her that you don't trust her!' That part of Teddie's mind hissed. Teddie shook her head. You can't make me. 'You have to ' She sighed. "I trust you, Moonlight, but, that other side of me, the one focused on my own safety and no one else's, doesn't." Teddie looked down sadly. Now what. "I... I'm sorry if I... If you..." She had no idea what to say.

She nodded slowly. She understood what she meant. "I get you, I used to think like that too, that is before I killed it off-" she paused thinking that this might be a slightly dark turn. "Lets just say I got therapy and it sorta worked" she remembered her first few therapy visits. They were because she was always screaming in her sleep. Or at least thats what her family would say.

Teddie looked up again. "Ok, how did it sort of work? I'm interested now," she said, scooting closer to Moonlight. 'Hey! Get away from her!' Shut up! Please! Let me live my life how I want to! 'I saved your life.' By making me call for Moonlight, jerk! 'HEY!!!' SHUT UP!! Teddie whispered to her own mind to shut up before catching herself. "Oh! Did I just speak out loud? Sorry..." Teddie looked down again and back up at Moonlight.
