Moonlight almost broke down. "I could never leave you either" she hugged her back hard as she was on the ground. She blinked. What about Firelight. She held Teddie hand as she got up. "C-can I take her?" she really wanted her to say yes. Teddie wanted this, she wanted this, she couldnt say no surely? "And also Splitside took your duty as leader because everyone thought you were dead, you can go and reclaim it if youd like?" she said with guilt. If she had never attempted to get revenge on Teddie's parents maybe none of this drama wouldve happened, and she couldve left with Teddie in happiness.

Teddie held Moonlight's hand when she stood up. Firelight passed Teddie her mask and wipes her eyes with her hand. She smiled up at Moonlight. "Of course, you can take her. If she wants, she may. And why don't you two go get Splitside?" She asked. Teddie shook her head. "No way would she listen to either of us." She said.

Moonlight quickly nodded in agreement. "She tried to murder Teddie without mercy!" she had to force herself not to scream. "We cant ask Splitside back!" she pointed out. If Firelight had really been stalking her all this time, hadnt she realized Splitside didnt like them both?

Teddie nodded with Moonlight, still holding her hand like she would disappear at any moment.

Firelight handed the two her staff. "Just show this to her and she'll know who's summoning her." She said, crossing her arms. "Tell Splitside to meet me at the edge of the woods by the City Prison." And with that the woman walked away.

Teddie watched her mother walk off and suddenly fell to her knees, starting to cry again. Why am I crying!? I don't understand! Those thoughts made her sob more.

Shadow Witch, also known as Nina Snapdragon by the villains, sat on the roof of a building and sighed.
She pulled out her book of witchery and chanted some words in an unknown language.
A dark, shadow-like, spirit appeared.
"Master..." It rasped and bowed.
"Quite that act, Edwin!" She snapped and said "We have work to do! Go down to the city and just spook some people! NO KILLING!"
Edwin, the shadow spirit, nodded and went down to the city.

"Your staff..." Moonlight mumbled as Firelight handed her the staff. She looked up with a question in her head but as soon as she opened her mouth Firelight had vanished into thin air and Teddie was crying. She understood why, and she couldnt blame Teddie. "Y-you still have me..." she said a bit hurt as her voice faded to nothing.

She glanced at Teddie and a thought came to her. Send Teddie to go give the staff. but she instantly pushed it away. What if Teddie got hurt? Splitside didnt trust her anymore. "Im going to go bring the staff, dont you worry Teddie" she said making her voice firm. She was still sitting next to Teddie though, waiting for what her response would be.

Teddie took off her mask and wipe her eyes and she looked up at Moonlight, putting back on her mask. "It's not my mother, it's my whole family. I miss them..." Teddie started to sob more before jolting her head back up at her friend's words. "Y-your doing it by yourself? Are you crazy!? Splitside will kill you the moment she sees you!" Teddie cries, the thought of losing Moonlight making her cry more. Her heart was broken in many ways. "Don't you realize the dangers and risks you are taking?! If you get killed, I'll never forgive myself!" She sobbed.

"I said Dont you worry" she made her voice more confident. [B]"She wont hurt me if I show her the staff"[B] she explained quickly. Two dark scary figures appeared behind her. "And if anything happens I can beat her" she looked down and the figures covered her as she too vanished.

Teddie shook her head, gripped Moonlight's shirt. She let out a cry of despair when Moonlight disappeared. "NO!!! Don't kill her! I have to stop her before things get too messy!" Teddie gasped and ran off in the direction of the Hero's Base.

Firelight leaned on a tree by the City Prison for about half an hour before hearing Splitside's voice. She's not wrong. Even I don't like it here. She stood up fully, uncrossing her arms. "Splitside! Over here!" Firelight beckoned into the woods and led the hero to a nice pond with a small waterfall. Firelight sat in the dim light of the pond, lighting a stick on fire, lighting both herself and Splitside up. Firelight scanned the woman up and down. "Jez, what happened to you? You look like you were strangled and thrown into something sharp. Did something happen when I sent Moonlight and Teddie to summon you to me? Oh, dear. I'm getting ahead of myself. Recognize me? I'm assuming you do, with that look on your face. Yes, I survived Moonlight's attack for revenge, yes, I'm Teddie's mother, and yes, you may speak now." Firelight sat down again, waiting for Splitside to speak.
