The smoky black tom padded into twilightstars den, head dipped low… he let out a sigh and spoke first… “I know how this looks… and I’m sorry… ever since my sister passed away I’ve been slacking on my duties…” the amber-eyed Tom let out another sad sigh… “I should’ve asked to pause my duties rather than just dipping…” he dips his head in respect… “I’ll take whatever punishment is necessary, TwilightStar…”
Heatherkit 'I can't wait for being a warrior! Only three moons left!' Thought the sweet little kitten. She couldn't wait to train with a mentor of her own, and patrol borders, maybe even Riverclan's border! Wouldn't that be grand and all? She felt so excited that she could run around the whole forest for half a moon until she was unexcited! "I bet I'm gonna be the best warrior and then papa will think I'm amazing! Papa's the best of the best!" She seemed delighted at the thoughts that constantly ran through her head, even as she slept at night.
As she lay upside down beneath the sun, a ball of moss bounced past her. Seemingly not used anymore, she caught it with her paw and flipped herself back up, rolling it around in front of the nursery. Mossball was one of her favorite games. Although no other kits never seemed free to play. She felt lonely when she thought about it.
@estelle.
Bumblekit lay on his stomach looking pitiful as he felt the sun beaming over him. He was a little bored. He assumed that none of the other kits were outstandingly wanting to play with him, or even talk to him for that manner, so he remained by himself.
What interested him at the moment was bugs. It might have been strange, and he knew this as he watched a petal from his mangle of a flower crown, but there was something special about them. They were all unique, it was true. From beautiful butterflies to pearlescent beetles--he loved them all. Bumblekit was unique as well with his protruding fangs, and like bugs, he thought that the others were probably not a fan of him.
His ear flicked lightly as he glanced up, finding himself watching a kit tossing around a moss ball by herself. How's she so happy when she's all alone? he wondered, but not questioning it as she moved around playfully.
Although he wouldn't dare approach her by himself, Bumblekit supposed that she looked nice, and for a minute, he considered it. Although he may have seriously doubted it, the freckled kit hoped that one day he'd be confident enough to do what the kit in front of him could do.
(sorry the reply is a bit short, I had homework haha)
Oh, golly, he's never been faced with this. Not in particular anywho - often Cowpaw would listen but, this felt a bit different. Mental check-ups were just as important as physical. Maybe, maybe he should that more in account.
Smiling brightly at Tumblebreath, Cowpaw gestured for a nest for him to sit in. "Gladly, gladly..! I will do.. my very best.. " A pause when he thought over questions, he contained signing. "Let us start off simple.. when did you.. first begin to notice this change.. and have you noticed any other changes..? Perhaps.. at the start of these changes, there was a large... event that may have.. caused distress to you..?" Cowpaw inquired.
W, well! He received a chuckle or pardon, a snort. That was wonderful, amazing, stunning, dazzling - so many words to describe it. If Cowpaw could offer a bit of comfort in Doepaw's life, he would be okay with that. She deserved it! Now, if it just happened to be a fun story to listen to then.. hehe. No complaints here!!
Cowpaw wasn't the best with scary stories but that was okay. Nodding excitedly, he scooted in closer to listen to what the apprentice had to say with giddiness. His paws were tapping quietly against the ground, waiting for her to start while his tail wrapped around himself.
Cowpaw's mouth formed into a small 'o' shape of understanding. Coldsong. Coldsong. This was Coldsong. He found himself staring in attempts to memorize what this tom looked like, but he knew it was a foolish attempt. The memory would be wiped away in moments and when he met Coldsong again, he would be none the wiser. Typically, there were some cats Cowpaw had an easier time with.
The scars and lack of tail were specific tells that he would have an easier time with Coldsong. Shifting his attention back to the warrior, Cowpaw glanced up, realizing he had dozed off in thought. Smiling softly, he listened to his woes.
Admittedly, the gentle giant never was graced with the magical ability to hide his expression. Seeing the gnarly wound, Cowpaw suck in a deep shuddering breath, clearly a look of deep concern. Stars, it needed to be treated right away. Properly. With marigold. "How.. long has it been.. like this..? Since you have received this wound..? If you know, of course.." Cowpaw signed, still not looking away. He did back up, chewing nervously on his bottom lip.
With the colder weathers, marigold has been impossible to find. Especially on this short notice, he couldn't ask the other clans either.. a toothwracker indeed.
His ear flickered when he properly realized oh! Introductions for himself were also in order. He lifted a paw in an attempt to create an awkward y-shape before bringing it up to the side of his forehead and twisting forward at the wrist a couple of times then he finished by simply showing Coldsong his paw. "My name is Cowpaw...! Pleasure to meet you.. properly.." Cowpaw gestured, jerking his head into the direction of the nest.
He attempted to try and convey he wanted Coldsong to lay down so, hopefully he could begin to clean it and.. ponder a bit more about what to do.. He looked up at his final question, and uh, wow. That - that was a hard one to answer. Bit hard to try and explain why yeah, he could speak but sometimes speaking felt like a death sentence which was most of the times.
Instead, he asked a question at Coldsong. Reflection, wonderful,, gee.. Tilting his head to the side drastically he then pointed at the tom. It was Cowpaw's very basic attempt to ask what he was confused about.
Cowpaw sniffled, his shoulder shaking with the tremble of a gasping sob. He didn't, he didn't know what he was doing anymore. He was attempting to learn, and he's made strives but, stars. He felt - isolated. Horribly, and utterly isolated. He was always in this den with death looming around the corner. If his clanmates wouldn't come to him then, he's surely failed and.. .. what was he supposed to do then?
The medicine cat was curled protectively in a ball, residing in a cold corner. Doing his best to keep quiet, he was startled when a kit entered into his den.
Cowpaw's head jerked up in surprise, his nose twitching and he sniffled once more, eyes red and puffy. Blinking his tears away, he slowly rose to his paws. His thoughts were rather hazy and, y, yeah, he hadn't exactly heard them properly, but he knew they were here for help. That was what he was here for!
His voice was at loss for him, but he still made a point to nod his head slowly, sitting down in front of them with the gentlest of smiles - although, a rather crackled. shaky but nothing to worry about. he would be okay.

"Oh me? I like Playing, Pine trees and Fireflys!" He said as his leaf green eyes sparkled.
Fawnpaw
"Oh! That's right! Pine trees smell really good, and if you get the needles at the right time, they can be pretty soft too!" She said, thinking back to her nest which she had enjoyed lining with flowers and pine needles. They were long gone now, but it was nice when she had it!

"Really? I just liked the way they looked and smelled!" He said giggling. "Soo, you learning anything new? I'm learning to spar!" He said in an excited voice.

"Really? I haven't gotten too that yet, but I do a bit of hunting and I've already gone a few patrols now! Speaking of, I should see if me and my mentor can go out soon, I need some more training!" The brown molly replied laughing at herself.

She kept her green gaze on the leader, aware that some cat had came beside her. The grey-furred apprentice intended on ignoring the cat, like she did with most of her Clanmates, because she didn't recognise anybody and she was sure nobody recognised her. That thought was about to be proven wrong though, for Irispaw saw a flash of calico fur out of the corner of her eye. Her head turned sharply to the cat that she'd decided to ignore earlier. A sleek, slender calico she-cat that looked apprentice-sized was beside her, with beautiful green eyes and good posture. It was someone, Irispaw knew that. But she couldn't remember who. All the faces of her Clanmates that she'd known before her disappearance were fuzzy and she squinted hard at the she-cat.
Was it one of her best friends? Irispaw thought so. Was it.. Flowerpaw? Daffodilpaw? Tulippaw?
Yes, that was it.
The slate-grey apprentice couldn't believe the fact that she couldn't recognise her own friend.
"Tulippaw!" Irispaw exclaimed. She was happier than ever to be around someone who recognised her, but being around the ever-pretty, ever-elegant Tulippaw made her feel extremely self-conscious. Irispaw had washed herself when she'd come back to camp, yes, but... still. Plus... Tulippaw probably had a lot more training than Irispaw did.
"Yeah.. I'm back," she said. "Um... I kinda got.. lost. On a territory tour with my past mentor, Snap- something. Snapfur? Oh, wait, no... her name was Snapclaw, I think. Anyways, we were heading over to some border, I forgot which one it was, and then I lost her."
Tulippaw said that Irispaw looked fantastic, as always. Irispaw highly doubted that. She felt that Tulippaw might just be saying that because she wanted Irispaw back as her friend. Irispaw recalled Tulippaw's behaviour. She was pretty sure that before she'd disappeared, Tulippaw had been a bratty she-cat who was obsessed with looks and beauty and things like that. Irispaw also highly doubted that Tulippaw had changed because of the compliment she'd been given. The she-cat nodded her head, accepting the compliment.
At that moment, Twilightstar spoke and Irispaw looked at her. She dreaded her next mentor. Her first mentor had been, well, awful and her second mentor had gotten her lost. She didn't have high expectations for her third mentor. Irispaw just hoped that her third mentor was somebody who knew how to train an apprentice and was experienced.
Her third mentor turned out to be some warrior called Sharpbreeze. Sharpbreeze. What kind of name was that? Irispaw pushed that thought out of her mind. It sounded like a Tulippaw thought and Irispaw didn't want to become beauty-obsessed (though she would if it made Tulippaw like her. For now, Irispaw wanted to be her own cat. BUT she still wanted Tulippaw to be her friend... so maybe she did need to be beauty-obsessed for that).
Irispaw had never seen or heard of Sharpbreeze her entire life. This Sharpbreeze cat might've been the kind of warrior that kept to themselves and didn't really socialise. That must be it.
Then she saw and heard Sharpbreeze. She tilted her head, looking at the cat that had called her name. The cat seemed to be a tom-cat. He had blue eyes, but Irispaw wasn't sure if he had white, grey or silvery-blue bengal fur. His fur looked similar to grey, but it might be white too (stained with dirt). Sharpbreeze wanted her to come over to him. Irispaw supposed she should go over to him.
So the apprentice got to her paws and said to Tulippaw, "I've got to go to my new mentor. We can hang out sometime if you want." Irispaw then headed over to her new mentor, Sharpbreeze. On her way there, she was struck by a sudden thought - what had happened to Tulippaw's family? Irispaw was sure all her family had died or disappeared. Maybe the same had happened to Tulippaw's parents and littermates.
"I'm here," Irispaw told Sharpbreeze when she arrived. She looked up at him. He looked... well, he seemed good enough.
as dusk spoke, cedarbug's heart began to flutter in his chest. he felt safer... with cedarbug? his face began to flush, and he rushed to cover it up with a lick to his chest fur. with that, he had no issues with leading the way, so long as the pretty tom couldn't see his face. it was a miracle dusk hadn't commented on his heartrate yet, considering it sounded like a pounding rhythm in his ears.
cedarbug was still collecting his thoughts when dusk offered to teach him some things. oh! he wasn't quite ready for this question yet... he was definitely relying on the few minutes of silence as cedarbug tried to remember where the nearest tunnel entrance was. so, of course, he started his answer with a graceful and super smooth "uh, i don't know...? whatever you, wanna teach i guess? i mean, i don't-- ahh, i'm sorry!" the warrior ducked his head out of embarrassment. "what i mean is, it's whatever you want. i mean, i don't know what i don't know, y'know?" cedarbug offered a small, awkward smile.
Crowfoot ears flicked as they lead Firepaw out of the WindClan camp. Looking for any of the flowers that Cowpaw had mentioned. Their black fur fluffed up to keep the cold away from him put in it made him look bigger than usual, they turned their head toward Firepaw, "Do you see any yet?"
Firepaw marched outside of the camp alongside Crowfoot, fighting the urge to run off and go hunting for the herbs on her own. She almost hadn’t been paying attention when the warrior asked if she saw any of the flowers. Prompted now, she scanned their surroudings a bit before turning her head back to them. ”No I don’t see any yet,” the pale red tabby mewed with a shake of her head. ”We’ll find some soon though, I’m sure of it!”
