He smiled. It wasnt the fanciest, but everything here sold out fast. While he was looking for something else to eat a waitor walked up to the both of them. "What would you like to order?" he asked the boy. "Could I have some of this Spaghetti? With the herbs and spices, and also the marinara please" he paused. "Same for both of us" he added to the sentence. "Yes of course" he said as he quickly scribbled the order on a small notepad

"Any drinks for you?" Adley sat for a while thinking. Teddie could chose what she wanted. "Do they have just water?" he offered. He couldnt drink wine yet, he was too young for that, and everything else was too... 'Extra' for him. "Yes, and Dessert?" he spoke as he wrote down the drink order. Adley thought for a bit. He could afford anything he wanted with the current money, that was if he chose the best thing the price would be worth it. "Do they have that small choclate lava cake still?" he asked. That was his favorite one.

"You betcha!" he smiled as he wrote that down as well. "Any drinks or dessert for you?" the waiter had turned to Teddie. Adley waited for what Teddie would order, perhaps the same thing? Hopefully she had wanted the spaghetti, since he had already ordered for the both of them

Teddie was scanning the menu, trying to stop herself from drooling when a waiter came and took Adley's order and what she had wanted. She looked up. "Um..." She felt herself start to sweat again. "U-um..." Now I'm studdering! Teddie took a deep breath. "I-I'll... have..." Where were the drinks on this stupid menu? Oh, there they were. So much soda. She never had soda. "Just some ice-cold water, I'll find something else later most likely. And..." She spotted the deserts right away. Her mouth watered. "That." She pointed to a double-decker strawberry-lemon cheesecake. "I want that." Then she saw the price and flinched. It's a lot...

A small frown was about to force on his face. He'd go practically bankrupt if he bought that. "Add that please" he forced himself to say though he felt like fainting inside. "Okay, I'll give you the check after you eat, it should come in about 15 minutes" the waiter said before he walked away into the crowds of people. Adley looked at Teddie and then stared at the picture of the cake until their food arrived. Once it came a phone rang. He took the phone out of his pocket and frowned. "Give me a second-" he said before he walked away answering the call. His voice was very quiet as he did.

"Didnt you promise me $200 to get the car? I just needed that bit!" a voice came through the phone. "I-I uhh, got busy, can I give it to you later? Next week?" Adley said through the phone. "Nah man, Im calling the police if you dont do it tomorrow, I lent you money and you aint returning it? Thats not how it works" Adley started to panic. "Okay fine, I'll give the money" he closed the phone and went back to the table hoping Teddie hadnt heard the call. That would be awkward

Teddie felt bad. Was she making him go bankrupt? She leaned forward slightly when he went on the phone. "Oh no..." She mumbled and stood up, looking for the waiter. "Am I making you go bankrupt? I can take that back!" She hadn't heard the call fully, but when she heard the word "money," she knew that it meant something bad. "I can take back that cheesecake!" She realized that the food was here. She sat down. "Wait! Keep your money! I have money! I'll pay for it! I have lots of money! How much money do you need?" She asked, digging in her pocket for the large stacks of cash Moonlight gave her when she worked for her as a spy.

He smiled softly trying to comfort her and calm her down. "No-no-no!" he said tapping her while trying to bring her anxiety level down. "I'll pay for it, its on me, its all fine" he said putting her food in front of her. "You can eat now, im going to eat mine, stop stressing!" he said before taking a fork and started eating. He ate really fast, he was used to eating fast. He hoped Teddie didnt think he was eating in a jail cell his entire life!

Once they were done the waiter came back just minutes after. "Okay, are you done? Ready to pay?" he asked. Adley nodded ready to hear the big number. "Its $139.27" he handed the bill. Oof. He pulled out his phone and scanned it on it. He covered the number from Teddie and the waiter which had his current amount of money left as he payed for it. "Thank you, and have a good day!" he said as he turned around and headed towards another table to take their order.

"I told you I had enough to pay for it" he turned back with a smile.

Teddie sat down slowly, feeling her heart thumping hard against her chest, not of love, but of fear. She could feel her breath on her mask, quick and warm. She looked down at her food, her stomach growling loudly. Grabbing her fork, Teddie ate, without taking her mask off. She was really skilled at doing things that normal people would take off masks to do. As she was finishing her cheesecake, the waiter came and brought the bill. She flinched when she heard the number. She was already reaching for her wallet when Adley took out his phone and covered it from her eyes. She sank deep in her chair, sighing. She had never felt this full in a long time. She burped, making her jump slightly. "Excuse me," she said. Teddie was now staring at his phone. "Nice phone. I wish I had one..." She stood up and stretched. "That was really good. Thank you, Adley." She said as they walked out of the restaurant. She glanced at the sky. The sun was already high. It's almost noon! Moonlight must be wondering what I'm doing. "..." She looked down. It's ok. She can deal with a few more minutes without me. I just want to spend more time with Adley. She probably forgot I even went out. Teddie looked back at Adley, her arms crossed again. "So what now?" She asked.

He smiled. "Tell me about this 'Friend' you speak of, I'd like to know them" he asked politely. He used almost 4/5ths of his money on the food. Couldnt she at least answer his questions. He held back a sigh, he shouldnt be ungrateful. Or he would just be alone again, and live in his own world with his own made up friends. Well they werent made up, they were real. But not in the way most would expect. And they were all animals because he loved animals. Who could blame him.

"I'm just a bit curious" he said trying to defend himself just in case Teddie thought he was trying to seep information out of her to tell one of the big leaders of the villains and heroes and whatnot. "theres no harm in asking right?" he added awkwardly. Maybe there was a harm. He gulped, maybe he shouldnt have said that

Teddie felt the weight of everything she had been told to keep secret drop down on her shoulders. Adley wanted to know who her friend was. "U-um..." Teddie's face went red again. "M-my f-friend... s-she's, um... a powerful, um... g-girl? W-we h-have t-this rule, um-m... th-hat we-e can-n't gi-ive out-t in-nfor-rmat-tion-n we c-choos-se and, um... uh... she, um..." Teddie felt herself start to sweat again. Her mask started to stick to her face, bothering her. Oh, Moonlight, what do I say back? Teddie was starting to panic, lightly pulling on her mask to make it stop sticking to her face. Please don't pull off my mask, Adley...

"Teddie, thank god your safe, I finally managed to get connected, like it was so bad im annoyed" she used's the chips's camera to scan around and caught sight of a boy. "Is he threatening you? should I come down and slice his head off? Why didnt you take Axel with you? He couldve protected you!" she sighed a bit in response to the conclusions she was jumping too. When she had connected she was just sweating in front of the boy looking very anxious. She hadnt said anything Moonlight heard though.

He stayed calm and perfectly normal "Oh Im sorry if it was personal information" he stepped back. He didnt want the girl to rage. He couldnt help but wonder what her powers were, if she had any. But if someone 'Powerful' had said they had given worth to the girl surely she did something. Better safe than sorry, he always thought that, sorta like his motto. He continued to step back. "You know, I can leave if youre feeling uncomfortable, and then we can talk umm.. tomorrow? or later? Or never again if you feel like it" he had completely forgot about his money problem for a bit

Teddie yelped at Moonlight's voice. Her hand went to her chip. "Moonlight! He's harmless! Don't kill him! We just had a nice lunch at that new restaurant! Now he wants to know about you. What do I say?" She hoped she wasn't being odd, talking with her head tilted downward lightly. She looked back up. "N-no! Stay! Please!" She leaped forward and grabbed his wrist, pulling him back but so close their bodies collided. Teddie kind of just froze when she pulled Adley too close to her, making him lightly bump into her stomach. Her face went even redder and she quickly let go of him, looking down. Her face was so hot. "I-I mean... stay. You, um... you are the only person I can talk to like this." Teddie's voice was soft and unguarded.

"You can tell him.." she made a large sigh as a muffled breathing sound went through the chip. She smiled when she pulled the boy suspiciously close. "ooh, someone has a crushhhhhhh" she made light giggles and they came through the chip's microphone as well. Now she couldnt blame her for liking Axel. Haha!

He was startled when she pulled him closer to her by pulling his wrist. "Are you sweating?" he said softly trying to ignore the frozen Teddie and reached for the mask and slowly took it off. "Hey look at that, you are pretty, you want a towel? Youre sweating" he was still only inches away from when Teddie had pulled him. A soft smile spread on his face as he looked at the girl once more.
