She realizes, then she goes dashing off to find Mistyflight to take with her so they don't get in trouble. Last time Flameheart was really upset, she wanted to do the right thing this time.

Something in Bumbles tone made Fireflykit want to close her ears up and run away, because she had a feeling that the answers she desired so strongly weren't going to be what she expected. Her yellow eyes widened, and she looked up at Goldenpaw for
moment and then back at the Bigcat who was speaking.
Goldenpaw was immobile, she didn't feel him cleaning the red off, but it was probably because he was scared. Or because he was listening to Bumble. Bumble had asked her a question, but the little tortie was please that the warrior didn't give her time to admit her ignorance on whatever dying and death was.
Leaving and not coming back? So did her parents also Death? Fireflykit didn't even remember her daddy and her mommy wasn't around either. Fireflykit had been alive for two whole moons and she hadn't had a parental figure. But hearing about cats coming back from Death gave her a light of hope in her chest. Maybe her parents would come back too. And maybe this also meant that they didn't leave because they wanted to, but we're forced to leave. At least now she wasn't under the impression that they left because they hated her.
She didn't think it was possible for kits to die, especially not little ones. Like the tiny, wet kitten that Fireflykit had crouched beside. And when Bumblebreak said that there were cats she could go to to talk about it, the kit shrugged. "I only have you." She was surprised by how dejected her voice sounded. Hopefully Bumble wouldn't take it badly. Goldie either, because she meant them both. But just the thought of having no one else filled the kid with a strange feeling. Like there was a rock in her chest, weighing her down.
Did she have any questions? Only about a gazillion. But she didn't want to bomb the two cats. So she asked the biggest one. "Does everyone have to die?" Looking back the kits and apprentices heading into the apprentices den, she started to shakily licked at the blood on her chest to try and make herself look presentable should she find her way in there. But then she saw cats crowded around the nursery, from peering over Goldie, and shuddered. Was she going to die?

She had already started to like Lotuskit's apraoch to this situation a lot more, but this?! This was something else. Her good humor gone, Mistylight headed after Acornkit. Reaching the kit and getting infront of them to block them wasn't hard since Mistylight was fast and Acornkit was, well, a kit, and she quickly made sure to place herself inbetween the kit and the entrance to the forest. "That's enough!" The warm friendlyness in her voice was gone, and while it still carried that clamness and lacked any real anger, it was far more aurorithive than before. "You will not be leaving camp. You know it is against the rules, and frankly, trying to run way like that is quite disrespectful. Acornkit, please go back to the nursery now. I will not ask you again."
Thunderblaze was super happy when mistyflight came the tom wasn't never good with kits so it the tom was super grateful" listen to mistyflight unless you want to be in real big trouble" the tom meowed
Blazekit sniffed the ground escaping acornkits grasp the tom Jumped around in the snow digging around the snow the tom walked around the snow then bumping into mistyflights leg the tom lifted his head with curiousity no words nothing just a blank curious look

Sharppaw took the poppy seeds. He braced himself as Sundust maneuvered one of his legs into the correct position, making him yelp in pain, almost scratching the medicine cat before the poppy seeds started to kick in. He laid his head down, eyes closing...
Sundust wrapped the first leg in cobwebs, keeping it in place with a stick. Now for the second. As nimbly as he could with his large paws, the medicine cat maneuvered the second leg into the correct position and wrapped it. He stepped back to examine his work, brow furrowed as he observed the injury. This was.. not good at all. But he could wait a bit to discuss Sharppaw’s future; for now, the apprentice needed to rest and Beastwatcher needed to be dealt with.

Two rogues?? Sundust’s ears flicked up in alarm at Stormclaw’s words. “Good stars, they didn’t come over the border, did they?” Most rogues knew enough about the clans to steer clear of the border without reason, but ThunderClan did still get its fair share of invaders.
Deciding that the gashes were deep enough to risk infection, Sundust selected two marigold leaves from his storage, then returned to Stormclaw. After chewing the marigold to a paste, he began to dress the wound.

It was refreshing to see Tinyflower’s optimism; it seemed ThunderClan was having a difficult time escaping gloom and doom in recent days. “There is absolutely nothing to worry about as of right now. I can’t see any potential complications so far and we are well prepared for Leafbare. If anything does feel wrong please do come see me.” He definitely did not want another Redfur incident on his paws; he was still coping with the horribleness of it. “If nothing else is bothering you, then you should be free to go. You may also go speak to Sparrowstar about moving into the nursery if you’d like.”
the Kit stayed limp, blood having soaked most of its pelt... the only sigh it was still alive being its soft breaths in and out... the outsider kit hurt all over, unconsious it stayed though
Sundust was shocked to see an unfamiliar kit dropped into his den, smelling of outsiders. He had several questions, but the injuries were dire and there was no time to waste; a kit was still a kit after all. He rushed to work, beginning to clean the wounds with wet moss and plaster them in cobwebs. Once he stopped the bloodflow he could focus on more minor injuries. In his flurry of movement, Sundust called over his shoulder to the cats who had brought the kit. “Do you know what happened to him?” The circumstances of the injuries could also play a big role in how he treated them.
After explaining the entire situation to a few of her Clanmates, Flameheart gathered the strength to go to the medicine den and get her wounds taken care of. She hated to leave the clearing without getting sleep next to her mate, but her wounds and pain were much more important at the moment. Limping her way into the herb-scented den after mulling over her thoughts and spitting out some more blood that came from the bridge of her nose, the young classic tabby Maine Coon sat down on a moss bed and began licking her wounds the best she could, wincing when she started cleaning her leg.
"Sundust?" she called for the medicine cat once she couldn't bear to clean her leg anymore. No doubt it would hurt for a while. She hated to smell like RiverClan- it was all fish and water, but she was glad to have kicked that cat out of ThunderClan's territory.
Sundust’s ears twitched as he name was called, and he padded over to his newest patient, Flameheart. “Hello, Flameheart.” He did a quick once over of the injuries and went to fetch cobwebs and marigold. “I’m assuming this just maybe has something to do with RiverClan?” He swore he could smell that clan from twenty tree-lengths away; he hated the smell of fish. He began to dress the wounds as he listened for a response.

As the medicine cat turned to fetch those herbs, he began speaking again. “How did you get those scratch marks?” It had become a standard question for him to ask, but in cases with cat-like injuries he found the answers even more intriguing.

The blue and white kit was still breathing at a normal pace… her left back leg looked rather destroyed but not just because of rat bites… it was strangely cold and limp. BlueKit began to open her eyes, only to whine and shut her eyes again… “my head aches, it hurts, where am I?”
Sundust paused his treatment for a moment as the kit stirred. “You’re in the medicine den. I know it hurts, but do you think you can sit still for me? I need to put some cobwebs on you so you feel better.” Slowly, Sundust resumed treating her, making sure to put extra marigold on her leg. Most of the scratches weren’t terrible, but her leg was in rough shape. Hopefully Sundust could mend it some, but, upon first impression, he couldn’t see it making a full recovery.

It was always nice when cats came into the medicine with a positive demeanor; Sundust had been surrounded by so much doom and gloom that it became difficult to keep upbeat. “Hello, Roosterflame. Glad to see you’re back - you’ve been missed around camp.”
Roosterflame’s following statement was somewhat of a surprise, especially considering how causally it was delivered. Sundust had noticed the limp, but there were no other obvious signs of the break. “Fascinating - how did you get it fixed? Do you have any pain or stiffness in your leg?”

Sootfur rested his head on Flameheart's, encircling her with his gray tail. "It's all over, Flameheart... You did the right thing." He whispered gently to soothe her. He glanced briefly at the kit in pain, unable to hold the gaze for too long, to see if he was still conscious or not. Recently there has been so much blood in Thunderclan... And he was worried for her mate. He hoped the shock of the experience wouldn't linger too much in her. Maybe we should get some distractions as soon as we get out of here. He thought hopefully, imagining the orange tabby walking in the forest in search of prey as she was used to do everyday. Yes, that would do her good.
The warm presence of her mate encircling her was comforting, despite the stress of the situation. The poor kit was unconscious and bloody. Her eyes couldn't leave the site. Not even Dawnstar was this cruel... My brother did this... and I killed him. How strong of a fighter am I? The young warrior didn't get the chance to think on it too hard, Sundust was beginning to treat the kit. "Oh- uh... you wouldn't believe it if I told you. But... I h-had a brother... he was torturing this... this..." Flameheart took in a quivering breath, "My brother was torturing this kit... I... I had no choice, I had to help it... M-my..." She looked at Sootfur, tears now forming in her eyes.
"My brother's body is at the border... Sundust, I swear... I didn't mean to kill him. I... I just couldn't let him kill an innocent kit. I'm not a murderer... all I wanted was to talk to my brother and get to know him... it didn't end how I thought it would..."

Sootfur walked beside Flameheart and entered silently the medicine cat den, offering her his closeness in case she needed to lean on him.
As she collapsed on a temporary nest made of moss, he helped her lick off some of the blood that had dried on her fur. It was sticky and had a terrible taste, but it was good to take off all of the dark red from the familiar white and orange fur.
Before leaving her, he nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "I'm sure you'll be fine with Sundust. And I'll come back to see you as soon as I come back, alright?" He asked softly. He would've gladly kept her company here, but Sparrowstar had asked his help for a quick border control and Sootfur didn't want to make her wait. If I see that mange-pelt again on the border... I wish we'd at least know what cat it was!
After their good-bye, Sootfur padded out of the herb scented cave and returned to the Thunderclan leader to report.
Flameheart was grateful for the closeness of her mate. He was always there to support her, which was one thing she had always loved about him. She smiled warmly at him as he licked some of the blood away and licked his nose in thanks before the gray tabby stepped back. "Thank you... I'll see you later. Oh- uh, Sootfur? That warrior... he was black-furred with white specks. It's not much, but at least it can help you identify exactly who it was."
Wishing her mate good luck with a nod as he left to accompany Sparrowstar on a mini patrol, she turned her attention to Sundust. "Yeah, it did. He was fox-hearted too... thinking RiverClan was the only one starving in leaf-bare. He stole a squirrel from our territory and refused to leave. I warned him with a scratch, trying to get him to leave before we both shed blood. I had no choice but to fight him. My first dispute for prey... it was nerve-wracking... especially since it was one-on-one. I don't know his name... he never said."
Flameheart winced slightly as the medicine cat began to dress the wounds she sustained, but she blinked thankfully at him. "Thank you, Sundust. I appreciate it. Sootfur's going to the border with Sparrowstar to make sure that RiverClanner didn't come back. Do you think Sparrowstar will mention the attack to Pikestar when we go to the next Gathering?"
