Sundust wrapped the first leg in cobwebs, keeping it in place with a stick. Now for the second. As nimbly as he could with his large paws, the medicine cat maneuvered the second leg into the correct position and wrapped it. He stepped back to examine his work, brow furrowed as he observed the injury. This was.. not good at all. But he could wait a bit to discuss Sharppaw’s future; for now, the apprentice needed to rest and Beastwatcher needed to be dealt with.
Two rogues?? Sundust’s ears flicked up in alarm at Stormclaw’s words. “Good stars, they didn’t come over the border, did they?” Most rogues knew enough about the clans to steer clear of the border without reason, but ThunderClan did still get its fair share of invaders.
Deciding that the gashes were deep enough to risk infection, Sundust selected two marigold leaves from his storage, then returned to Stormclaw. After chewing the marigold to a paste, he began to dress the wound.
It was refreshing to see Tinyflower’s optimism; it seemed ThunderClan was having a difficult time escaping gloom and doom in recent days. “There is absolutely nothing to worry about as of right now. I can’t see any potential complications so far and we are well prepared for Leafbare. If anything does feel wrong please do come see me.” He definitely did not want another Redfur incident on his paws; he was still coping with the horribleness of it. “If nothing else is bothering you, then you should be free to go. You may also go speak to Sparrowstar about moving into the nursery if you’d like.”
Sundust was shocked to see an unfamiliar kit dropped into his den, smelling of outsiders. He had several questions, but the injuries were dire and there was no time to waste; a kit was still a kit after all. He rushed to work, beginning to clean the wounds with wet moss and plaster them in cobwebs. Once he stopped the bloodflow he could focus on more minor injuries. In his flurry of movement, Sundust called over his shoulder to the cats who had brought the kit. “Do you know what happened to him?” The circumstances of the injuries could also play a big role in how he treated them.
Sundust’s ears twitched as he name was called, and he padded over to his newest patient, Flameheart. “Hello, Flameheart.” He did a quick once over of the injuries and went to fetch cobwebs and marigold. “I’m assuming this just maybe has something to do with RiverClan?” He swore he could smell that clan from twenty tree-lengths away; he hated the smell of fish. He began to dress the wounds as he listened for a response.
“Oh, dear!” Sundust flew over as soon as he heard the kit, armed with cobwebs, moss, and marigold. “Here - I need you to sit still for me, ok? Let me know if it hurts too much and I can give you a poppy seed.” And with that he began treating her.
Sundust flicked an ear as he heard pawsteps and turned away from his herb storage to see who had entered his den. “Hello, Crocuspaw,” Sundust padded over as he greeting the tom. The scratches on the apprentice’s face were.. odd. Clearly clawmarks, but from where? Their depth wasn’t terrible but some wet moss and cobwebs wouldn’t hurt.
As the medicine cat turned to fetch those herbs, he began speaking again. “How did you get those scratch marks?” It had become a standard question for him to ask, but in cases with cat-like injuries he found the answers even more intriguing.
Sundust paused his treatment for a moment as the kit stirred. “You’re in the medicine den. I know it hurts, but do you think you can sit still for me? I need to put some cobwebs on you so you feel better.” Slowly, Sundust resumed treating her, making sure to put extra marigold on her leg. Most of the scratches weren’t terrible, but her leg was in rough shape. Hopefully Sundust could mend it some, but, upon first impression, he couldn’t see it making a full recovery.
It was always nice when cats came into the medicine with a positive demeanor; Sundust had been surrounded by so much doom and gloom that it became difficult to keep upbeat. “Hello, Roosterflame. Glad to see you’re back - you’ve been missed around camp.”
Roosterflame’s following statement was somewhat of a surprise, especially considering how causally it was delivered. Sundust had noticed the limp, but there were no other obvious signs of the break. “Fascinating - how did you get it fixed? Do you have any pain or stiffness in your leg?”
Lotuskit nods silently, obediently sitting down. She was shaking from the trauma of the experience. She then gets caught up in her terrible memories, moaning, she tries to hold still but she still shakes violently from time to time.

Sharppaw kept his eyes closed as Sundust moved his legs in the right place and held then there with sticks. He shuddered in pain for a little bit before finally opening his yellow eyes to stare at the medicine cat. "What's... gonna... happen... to... me...?" The black apprentice asked.
" probably couple foxes away from the border" he replied as his ears twitched back while sundust was putting marigold on it stung a little but the tom ignored it the best he could

Sootfur let Flameheart sink her nose in his chest fur, and rested his head on her neck to hold her closer. He felt a stream of tears coming off her cheeks, soaking all their pelt. "It's ok, it's okay..." He soothed her with his tail, brushing her back lightly gently and rhythmically, but his gaze was concerned.
The gray tabby glanced at the medicine cat, sending him a silent signal that carried all his worry for his mate. She should leave and get some rest. He tipped his head toward the entrance, hoping that Sundust himself will suggest them to go.
"There weren't any other options, I can assure you. There's no way you can blame yourself, understood?" He fixed his colorless gaze into her green, new-leaf colored eyes, that now looked darker that he'd ever seen them. "Come on.." He nuzzled her gently, turning her to the other side. "Why don't we go to our nests and rest for a little bit? I'm sure Sundust will need space to work, and this little kit... will want some silence as well."I was going to say peace, but who knows if that'll come?

Crocus sighs. There it was. Well, he knew it was coming, didn't he? Not meeting Sundust's inquisitive look, the apprentice shrugs. "I was taking a walk," he begins slowly, not remembering until too late that apprentices did not typically go out alone. Oh well.
"I was taking a walk," he repeats, braced, "and ran into somebody who was not happy. They smacked me. With their claws. that's all..."

”Happy to know at least someone missed me,” Roosterflame purred jokingly, “And here I was thinking I was all alone in the world.”
Roosterflame stretched out his formerly-injured hind leg for Sundust’s easy examination, “Oh, that’s an interesting story, Sundust,” Roosterflame meowed, eyes sparkling with good humor despite just returning from a kidnapping situation, “What initially broke my leg was me falling out of a tree. Twolegs found me and brought me to their “vet”, which is a kind of medicine Twoleg that is half as careful as you, who fixed me up right quick with a kind of firm cobweb that held my leg in place. I had to stay with the twolegs for the duration of my healing, but soon enough I was healed and free to escape and come back home.”
Roosterflame yawned, scratching himself on the chin thoughtfully, “That’s the second time I’ve been kidnapped, Sundust,” He observed, “Funny.”

Re: ThunderClan Medicine Cat's Den
★・・Mottlepaw・・★
He wasn’t in terrible shape, but now his face was mess. A mess! Mottlepaw felt hate, deep hate for the short Blazingpaw. How could he do this, that cat did provoke him in the first place. It wasn’t his fault, it was never his fault. He decided to be so keen on beating him, that his mind whirled with thoughts of standing over cats like a trophy. The tips of his mouth curved upwards, entering the medicine den. His nose was wafted by the scent of herbs, his face turned ugly. But kept up the act of being the victim. He flicked his tail before he leisurely sat his butt down. He would have suspected Blazingpaw to come in here just to annoy him. Sparrowstar could move them down a rank whenever she felt like it, that grasp was so far away from him.
His white paws kneaded the ground, in order to calm his anger. Sundust was one of the few cats in the clan who he.. merely respected. Not just because he’s the medicine cat, but because he doesn’t become tongue-tied with so many things. He snorted before he stated, his emerald eyes catching a glance of other cats in here. He was becoming smarter and stronger. He rasped, his imagination could not be contained any longer. He called to Sundust, hoping that the medicine cat didn’t have anything major on his plate. "Mr. Sundust, I- er- we need some help with some scars." He muttered, trying to hide his low growl.
(Hoping this goes into a posting order)

Streamtail, Dunestorm, Acornkit, and Lilacfall all padded into the clearing, acornkit being carried by Streamtail. "Sparrowstar! We're back!" Acornkit had run off and they all decided to chase her, then they just had to run into a fox while they were at it.
hearing acornkit explain made the tom huff but he sighed letting some anger cool down" Acornkit you need to be aware of your surroundings i'm angry that you left camp" he replied"something bad could have happen to you if dunestorm and lilacfall and streamtail didn't find you i'd be panicking around i want you to be safe but i'll let the punishment go to sparrowstar to decide if you do it again i might have to ground you from coming into the clearing and playing in the clearing" he added in a worried voice
bumblebreak === > intercepting this for jayvines
There were voices rising in the middle of the clearing. With an irritated flick of an ear Bumblebreak lifted her head, eyes narrowed - then she got to her paws and headed over.
"Stormclaw," she barked. "Step back and let me handle this, I got it."
Without waiting for a response she turned to Streamtail, Dunestorm, Acornkit, and Lilacfall, casting a swift glance over each of them. "Someone explain in detail why all four of you decided it was a good idea to vanish outta camp."

It was quiet, the clearing nearly barren. Where was everyone? Certainly someone would come over and tell him how they'd been worried about him. Or... Maybe not- maybe they didn't care... Maybe no one even batted an eye at his absence...
After a few moments of waiting, hope slowly waning from his yellow eyes, he sat down defeated: overly large ears drooping low. The thought of being alone and unloved forever bore down like a boulder on his narrow shoulders, and a few tears stung at the edge of his vision. In one last desperate attempt, the kit raised his head and called into the open air. " Hello?" his voice slightly quivering with emotion. " Im back!"
Bumblebreak dragged her tongue across one of her paw pads and sniffed in irritation. There was a tiny little pebble stuck between them, lodged in the fur, and she just couldn't get it out. Last time she'd tried biting it, she'd nicked herself with a tooth. No more of that, thanks.
A tiny, quivering voice made her ears perk up. It was commonplace for the kids to be out in the clearing but never to hear someone sound so tiny. She looked away from her paw to find the source, and lo and behold, it was someone who hadn't been around in a while.
She got to her feet and approached. "Back?" She blinked down at him. "Where've you been, huh?"

Streamtail stepped forward, "Acornkit wasn't paying attention and wandered away from camp, we all followed her, then we got a bit lost." She apologizes, dipping her head a bit.
Creamcloud trotted back into camp. She had fallen asleep while hunting ... so embarrassing. Not only that, but the cold or something messed up her nose, she got lost. At least she had managed to catch a mouse. She set it down on the fresh-kill pile then went looking for her leader, "Sparrowstar?" She called out.
Mossyflower | She/Her |
Mossyflower trotted into camp. She had gotten lost on the territory while looking for some new moss for her nest. "Sparrowstar, I'm back" She meowed calmly, patiently waiting for her leader to appear or say something.
//Hi! Flameheart will be handling both rejoinings!
Flameheart - Creamcloud's Rejoining
After enjoying a rather delicious squirrel, Flameheart was ready to get in a good nap next to Sootfur in the warrior's den. That was until a missing Clanmate returned in a hurrying fashion. Creamcloud had come back with a mouse, that was probably just an excuse for her absence. I have to find out why Creamcloud has been missing for multiple days, though. A mouse doesn't just simply come across as a good excuse.
"Sparrowstar's busy right now, Creamcloud." the large classic tabby Maine Coon grumbled as she made her way over to her returning Clanmate. "Why have you just now returned, after multiple days? You and I both know hunting a mouse doesn't give you an excuse for this."
Despite her irritated tone, the young warrior was curious... what really was the cause of Creamcloud's disappearance?
Flameheart - Mossyflower's Rejoining
Giving herself a thorough cleaning and removing lumps of snow off her pelt, Flameheart looked up with narrowed eyes as Mossyflower made her way into camp. Not so much as a piece of prey... this should be interesting. Doing one final shake to rid her orange and white pelt of snow, the young warrior padded up to meet her missing Clanmate. "Hello, Mossyflower. Where have you been?"
The warrior didn't seem injured or smell like anything other than ThunderClan's territory, so the younger warrior was already coming up with a hunch as to what happened. I just hope I'm wrong. Warriors really shouldn't be losing their way in the forest they grew up in.
